The pancakes were good and plentiful, the Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream was perfect. Plenty of coffee, and nicely prepared plate of eggs and bacon. My friend and I went to Half Baked recently and had a good meal. It's a cute little place, very clean and the service was good. I ordered the eggs Benedict and home fries with a coffee. My friend ordered eggs, corned beef hash and one pancake with a glass of milk. My breakfast was good, and my friend said hers was good too. But, they charged $4.99 for her one pancake she ordered!!! We both thought that seemed really high so we started checking other nearby places and it was well above the average. That $5.00 pancake has caused us many laughs and we refer to it often!! I'm not sure when this place opened but it's a great new spot in Oxford! There's really nothing better than an amazing diner and Half Baked and Fully Roasted is exactly that. Good coffee, fresh baked pastries and desserts, innovative specials, and amazing service. Prices are extremely reasonable and everything we ordered was seriously delicious! They also take covid precautions seriously so you can definitely feel safe bringing your family here for a great meal. Be aware that they are cash only, but they do have an atm inside! read more

They have a solid menu but it's their specials that always speak to me. I don't know what iced tea they use but their black iced tea is wicked tasty. Their hollandaise sauce is interesting, lemony. We've also gotten a group chocolate chip pancake to share and it met my expectations. Everything I've seen people order looks wicked tasty! The cooking staff here really lowered the rating for this place. I like the food. The wait staff is to be commended, super friendly and smiling. I have been here several times. The time I went before today, my friend was there and she ordered a meal to go, it came out way after my omelet, and she had been there before I arrived, and put in her order. The manager/owner said to-go orders take longer? And not 1 appology from him. Instead he blammed the wait staff for not telling her that. I was under the impression (after working in a restaurant years ago) that you cook orders in the "order" they come to the kitchen. You don't set aside orders because they are to-go. And it's breakfast! not a gourmet meal. Last month, I went in with my Mother, we had an appointment in a few hours so we decided to go in for breakfast first. After 1 hour waiting for our breakfast we just got to-go boxes for the breakfast, and when we went to eat it, my mother's order was wrong. It's really a shame because the cook's corned beef hash is excellent. And the place is super cute. Recommendations, brew some flavored coffee, or get a better regular blend. At $2.45 a cup it should taste better. Teach your kitchen staff how to prioritize their cooking schedule. Praise your waitresses more! They take a lot from your customers who are tired of waiting an hour for EGGS. Sadly I wanted to give this place 5 stars because it's a local business. I have given it more than a few chances. Beer battered fish and chips is where it's AT! Holy SMOKES it was delicious. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be so good- especially given that it's so close to home. The portion was too large to finish! Fish was flaky and moist, and the outer crust was crisp and juuuuust thick enough to lock all of the juices inside without being too dense and batter-y. My fiancé had the corned beef hash with blueberry pancakes. He thinks himself a connoisseur of both and commented that it was the BEST corned beef he's had...and let me tell you- we've been to more than our fair share of restaurants in New England. I had a bite of his pancakes and we both agreed they were better than at our favorite breakfast joint just down the street (won't mention any names- because they are also great. These are just BETTER). They tasted like a pillowy, decadent dessert, and literally melted in my mouth! Joanne was our waitress. She was SO POLITE! Definitely on top of service without being overbearing. Ask for her and tip well! The owner also came out to check on things. Such a nice guy! You can tell he really puts a lot of time and energy into his craft. This restaurant's quality, service and food is top-notch. Interior is clean and cozy. What a nice little spot, with a great breakfast and lunch menu. Friendly service and a nice small diner feel to boot. The wife and I stopped here for a lunch bite while we waited for her car at the tire shop. Wife had the fried chicken sandwich and I the Western omelet with hash browns. Food was fresh and very tasty, with generous portions. Coffee was hot and plentiful. I thought they might have a good coffee selection so we stopped in while on a road trip in the area. They have standard coffee so I actually didn't order any. They have a nice breakfast and lunch menu, plus a counter full of baked goodies. I ended up getting a bowl of the chicken orzo soup to go and a maple whoopie. The prices were good - less than $10 for both. The soup was very disappointing. I think it had cooked all day and maybe more than a day. The orzo had turned to mush and gone sugary. In a blind taste test you might have guessed porridge instead of soup that's how gross the orzo had become. It also had zero taste. It was just sugary bland goo that adding salt and pepper to did nothing but make it taste salty in some bites. They really shouldn't be serving that to customers. The whoopie was pretty good. A bit dry but the cream was lovely and you could really taste the maple flavor. Unfortunately, due to how bad the soup was, I wouldn't stop in again. read more

Stopped in here to try this place out. First and last time! What a Dumpster fire of a restaurant. AVOID! owner treats staff and customers incredibly rude. If you complain at all with their own mess up he'll get really nasty with you. Zero customer servise. Owner will yell at you in front of other patrons to make himself feel like he's a big bad wolf. We went on a Saturday for lunch and the place was fairly busy, but you would not of known it from the way the servers treated you. We went there for breakfast, and it was ok, the bacon was not crispy but soggy, so, I egg, 2 pieces of bacon and home fries that I did not want but came with it and an English muffing, 1 coffee, 1 orange juice, 1 cranberry juice, other plate, 2 eggs, toast, homefries and bacon. 33.00. It was not so much the 33.00 plus the tip but when the bill came there was a service charge on it for over a dollar. I questioned the waitress and the charge was for using a debit charge. I could not believe it, knowing what banks charge to use their machines for a business, I thought to myself, the place was busy, and if he is charging everyone this fee, he is making a lot more money on that machine than what they are charging his business. We were totally disgusted. and will never return, that is just another excuse to make more money and gauge his customers. There are no signs anywhere stating there is a charge for using a debit card informing customers.
