For a place with a clear full client list we got seated surprisingly fast. And what an experience! Diners being a special passion of mine it's pretty hard to be truly impressed. The food quality and quantity and the old fashioned diner feel is all there! So many experiences never get written about because they're mundane. Take my effort here as an indication that this is a place worth adding to your travels!

The staff were very attentive and friendly. Service was fast and food was amazing. Everyone was nice even the customers. It's a typical diner.

Western omelet - A breakfast dish on a white plate includes crispy, golden-brown hash browns, two slices of toasted bread, and scrambled eggs mixed with cheese, vegetables, and possibly ham. The plate is placed on a table with a menu underneath, indicating a casual dining setting.

Very happy about the portion!! Great service and bathroom is clean! Love cash only! We will come back again.

Eggs over easy with sausage , wheat toast and home fries. - A breakfast meal includes fried eggs, diced and fried potatoes, toasted bread slices, and breakfast sausages on a white plate. Two coffee mugs are on the table, along with a large dish of food in the background. The setting appears to be a casual diner environment with printed menus and tableware visible.

Great breakfast joint, delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. We went on a Tuesday morning, and the place was fairly busy. We got seated right away and the food came out promptly. I had eggs over easy with sausage, wheat toast, and home fries. Everything was perfect. What more can you ask for ?

Corn beef & cabbage. HUGE !!!! - A close-up of a plate with cooked corned beef, large pieces of cabbage, and sliced carrots, served at Lou Roc's Diner in Worcester, MA. The dish appears freshly prepared, with the corned beef sliced and the vegetables arranged around it. The background shows part of the diner setting, including a mug and a person wearing a striped shirt.

Love this place! I usually get the specials. Pot Roast, Chop Suey, Turkey Dinner, Fish & Chips. The meals are massive and tasty. Love the clam chowder. It comes in a HUGE bowl. The Home-made hash omelet is wicked good. The ladies that run the place are always super cool. Great fresh food. Even if there is a line, it moves ultra fast.

Eggs Benedict--w/ ham, and tomatoes. English muffin hiding underneath. Delicious. - A foam takeout container holds eggs Benedict topped with hollandaise sauce, slices of ham, and tomato, alongside roasted potatoes and breakfast potatoes. The eggs Benedict includes poached eggs on ham and tomato slices, covered in creamy hollandaise. The roasted potatoes are seasoned and slightly charred, while the breakfast potatoes are cubed and cooked until crispy. The food appears freshly prepared and ready for takeaway.

My go-to diner. Worcester is a great city for diners, and there are several I enjoy visiting, but Lou Roc's remains my number one.

The corned beef hash was excellent, and even as a picky pancake lover, I enjoyed mine. My partner ordered the country breakfast, but we received the wrong order with different specifications. We didn't notice immediately and started enjoying the hash. It took the servers about two minutes to realize the mistake and attempt bring us the correct order, they had hoped we hadn't started eating the hash meant for another customer. Although the mix-up was understandable, it was a bit frustrating not to get our raisin toast or runny, sunny-side-up eggs as expected. We stayed with the wrong order and our was brought back to the kitchen. The biggest drawback, however, is the outdated ambiance. I appreciate the vintage, long-time diner charm, but the decor needs some attention: the cups are showing wear, the shades are dusty, and the hallway to the bathroom feels cluttered. The bathroom itself could use a thorough cleaning, the soap dispenser was empty, and the backup pump wasn't working properly, making the space feel less sanitary. A small renovation to refresh the space while preserving its classic appeal would really enhance the overall experience.

We visited Sunday morning at 10 am., which is a busy time for most breakfast spots. Locals suggested the French toast or country breakfast were the recommended ordered. We will try it again, but our first experience was not very good.

The restaurant is very clean. I've met the owner twice as he tries to get around the diningroom before you leave to make sure your experience was a good one & personally thank you. I feel that in itself makes a big difference in quality control & guaranteeing he is hearing his customers & perhaps can make changes before it becomes a business-changing problem. (Sometimes a few bad reviews spread like wildfire & changing rumors back to the truth can hurt the bottom line). There is a delightful waitress you'll be glad to have serve you if you are lucky enough to be seated at her table. "Grandma (name)?" is a very happy way to start your day. She knows the menu well & can make you smile on your worse days. The menu has plenty to choose from & the portions sizes..epic! Eggs Benedict is 3 egg size. Pancakes & French toast orders are enough for today & tomorrow without adding eggs or meat. But their prices are similar to other places lessor size plates. There is an ramp at the entrance for those with mobility issues. There are a couple of handicap spots too. I do not know if the restrooms are wheelchair friendly as I didn't check it out yet. Even on a packed Sunday morning, the kitchen was quick moving the food out.. the waitress was right on top of refills too. Definitely worth stopping in & giving it a try but bring your appetite. Eating like a bird, I think, is frowned upon.

I ordered the small which was a generous size for the price! Steak bomb omelette- the steak was beautifully seasoned and the mushrooms may have been portobello they had a nice chew/bite to them. Had cheese in it but not overdone on the cheese. My husband had biscuits and gravy. He's a tough critic on this dish and he said this one is at the top of the list compared to ones he's had at other restaurants. It came with eggs and homefries on the side. The marble rye he ordered on the side ,it was nice and thick and had a really nice chew to it. The service was wonderful. From the hostess to the server and the owners. It's evident that the owners care about the patrons experience as they stopped by to ask about our experience) Very calming and warm atmosphere. This breakfast spot appeals to all generations as we saw people of all ages eating here. They have something for everyone. Definitely recommending this place to family and friends. Can't wait to go back to try their lunch menu.
