What a great find for us. We came for the lake but wanted breakfast first. This place is small (4 booths, 5 tables) The food was really good! The homemade corned beef hash was some of the best I have had (if a place makes their own - I usually order it to check it out). It was not salty or greasy, and I could taste thyme... well done! This place always has a full parking lot when I drive by so I wanted to make it a point to try it. Great quality breakfast! Fast friendly service.I had the Biscuits and Gravy Benedict topped with 2 poached eggs was spot on awesome sausage gravy and homemade biscuits. Potatoes were seasoned perfectly and crispy! My wife had a custom breakfast bowl which was also awesome (I took a few bites) they use good quality bacon great flavor and not over salty .. get there when they open 7:30am otherwise you may have to wait for a table. Lots of take out orders too. The baked goods looked awesome I forgot to get a whopper pie to go next time for sure. read more

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before a concert. The cafe was located right up the street from the venue. A small diner style cafe with big plates filled with love. Got the big belly country Benedict and it did not disappoint. The country gravy was everything you want from a savory dish. Lots of menu options to choose from. I did not go to eat to this place for awhile, (like over a year) thinking things would change! Service and food still the same . My wife got the American chop suey and they asked if she wanted garlic bread which was a charge . My wife said no and the cook and waitress was in the kitchen saying well things aren't for free. I will never give it another chance. They aren't cheap and the food is not great. There are other places in town that are great. So much for giving them another shot. Never again! read more

Great little diner with really good food. Even though it was lunch time I had to try breakfast after seeing a few dishes go by. Everything was tasty, especially the home made corned beef hash. Always good service from the waitstaff. Parking can be a bit tough to park right in front but there's an entire parking lot in the back so don't worry. If there's a wait, they tell you how long it will be (estimate) and will call you if you want to leave and come back. It can get pretty crowded but the foods always been good. read more

The wait staff walked around but never asked you what you needed . I tried asking for the check and got ignored . We finally had to stand up and demand the check . I have been several times and will go there several more times and I do believe several more after that. Friendly staff always offer military discount w/o me having to beg. prompt coffee upon sitting down. Waitress very knowledgeable about her job skills kind of uncanny i think she can read minds about what you want. Very satisfying portions. So you don't have to leave looking for another place to eat cause you don't want people to think your a bit swinish. I ordered breakfast rather late, it was around lunch time, but she said they were still doing breakfast. I wanted eggs benny, "we have everything but that". Ok, bacon omelet with home fries. I drive 30 minutes in the pouring rain, "oh, I forgot to tell you there's no home fries left. We gave you regular fries. They're the same, just a different shape". NO.... they are not the same!!! The food wasn't good. Granted, I ordered breakfast at 2PM, but a lot of diners who offer breakfast and lunch will still have fresh breakfast foods after the "morning rush". I drove over an hour for overcooked eggs and a dry pancake, that cost me $20. Mind you, with fries not home fries!!! Don't go there hungry on the weekend!! Not because the portions are small but because the one burner kitchen and single chef setup with two servers takes for ever! And don't even waste your time trying to make it to go order. I called in an order this morning at 11 o'clock and was told it would be a half hour wait. No big deal. I show up at 11:40 and they never even wrote down my order or placed it in the kitchen. Waited five minutes to ask for my to go order only to find out never was made. So I left without a meal. Been doing the rounds of small breakfast places, so decided to give Big Belly a shot. Arrived at 8:15 on a Saturday morning, and only 2 tables had customers. Place looks nice and clean with a cheerful decor. Sat down and was greeted promptly. Ordered coffees and looked at specials board. Other than a lobster omelette, just typical items. Prices in menu seem reasonable. Wife ordered a western omelette, and other than the toast, my son and I ordered eggs over easy, bacon and home fires. As we sat after placing orders, the placed filled up quickly. One thing I have to say, is that the other waitresses always came by and made sure your coffee was filled! Orders came out at a reasonable time. Eggs over looked like they were cooked in a pan, instead of on the grill, no biggie. They were slightly warm, maybe a few degrees above room temperature. Maybe a sign that they had to wait for another part of the order to cook? The bacon was on the crisp side but just shy of burnt. Ok if you like your bacon crisp. My wife said her omelette was good, till she got in the middle and noticed the eggs were really close to the raw side. She stopped eating and decide to take it home, and hope that a trip in the microwave will cure it. All of us: the home fries looked like they came out of the freezer and into the deep fryer. This is something you expect at Denny's or IHOP. I'm sorry, but IMHO small diners should have home made, hand cut and seasoned home fries. Looks like they are trying really hard, and I hope they can do better, but so far they fall in the typical category. read more

Let's start by stating that I was here for breakfast for the first time. Large servings at reasonable rates. I am a fan of egg white western omelettes (watching my girlish figure). The problem with them much of the time is they come out watery. Same issue here. Taste fine, just watery. Another pet peeve is home fries. Not everyone may be a fan of this wonderful breakfast potato but those that are true aficionado will insist on hand cut, grilled potatoes with onions and peppers. Not, as these were, frozen, machine cut, deep fried potatoes. Nothing outstanding this first visit but very friendly service and good coffee. read more

Went there on Sunday with the Family. We had high expectations based on the menu they post online. I got the Big Belly Country Benedict and found the sausage, gravy and biscuit good but the egg was underdone with the whites somewhat liquid. It was a soupy mess with the gravy. The home-fries were uninspired and needed some help too. I love good home-fries, such a shame. Everyone else meals were good and the staff was great. Overall I would give it a second try with a different menu item. Or ask them to cook the eggs medium. read more
