This is a cute little cafe with friendly employees and great options! You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. There are about 7 or so small tables and tables to eat looking out the window at the main road. We came for a special event but tried their tea and specialty crafted drinks that were very good. Genuinely one of the worst breakfasts I've ever been served. The bacon was so undercooked I'm surprised it didn't crawl off the plate, while the sandwich looked like someone cremated it and then slapped it together anyway. Everything was greasy, burnt, flavorless, and honestly looked like gas station food left under a heat lamp for 12 hours.For the price, I expected breakfast not a survival challenge. The atmosphere/ambiance never fails from the moment you walk through the doors greeted by all the hello's every time until the time you depart! It makes you keep wanting to come back for more. Josh (an employee) was very helpful with suggestions and so nice. So funny that we both have the same name lol. The best part in my opinion is the delicious mouth-watering food and beverages that will quench your thirst and make you smile from ear to ear! I definitely come here often and would most definitely tell anyone about this beautiful place and will not think twice about it! I have never met the owner personally, however I have been there on several occasions while she was there her presence is one that will not be forgotten. Most of the reviews here are for the RI location, even though this page is for the Webster, MA location. I am reviewing the Webster location. Never would I have guessed a restaurant/cafe could be successful in an area like Webster ... perhaps one of the grittiest (to put it nicely) cities in Massachusetts. Famously named as 'the armpit of Massachusetts' ... Webster is not somewhere you'd expect to find a restaurant/coffee shop that feels like Seattle or Portland selling $15 meatball sandwiches and $13 beers. However, despite the sticker shock we had on the pricing, we were blown away by the quality of the food. The first thing we noticed was that the restaurant smells a bit funky ... like feet ... upon walking in. We settled into one of the 'boho' style mismatched tables and waited for our order. Looking around, you'll notice a back wall of locally made art and products for sale. The clientele ranged from 20-year-old hipsters ... to older women ... with a couple people in business clothes working on a laptop. The meatball sandwich arrived, looking like something I would have thrown together in my college dorm room at 2:50 a.m. after a night of clubbing. While not pretty, by any stretch of the means, the flavour profile was amazing and explosive. If you don't love salt, you might disagree. However, the unique combination of spices made this taste almost like falafel. It is the furthest thing from meatballs covered in red sauce and melted provolone you'd get elsewhere. The eggs were made in a cast iron pan with spongy whites and very runny yolks. If you want the yolks a bit firmer ... make sure to ask for them that way. The eggs were local and tasted more eggy than your average mass produced supermarket egg. Very good. The grilled chicken sandwich was pretty mediocre, the only miss of the order. We had coffee, which was expensive ... but one of our group said it was among the best cups of coffee she's ever had. We had shrubs, which are a version of their homemade sodas plus the addition of apple cider vinegar, which gave them a peculiar sour taste, which wasn't bad ... but maybe we'll stick with the regular soda next time. While the prices are a bit high ... we felt that it was worth it for getting locally sourced ingredients and having everything fairly freshly made. As such, the menu is pretty limited and there isn't exactly something for everyone, so if you are taking someone there, make sure you both agree on the menu first. For those who like homemade and well-executed dishes and have a more hipster/boho palate, you'll love it! The meatball sandwich is so unique and flavourful, I'd go back often just for that! read more

This is a review for The Rose Room at Logees. First-no drip or pour over coffee, just Americano, which is really watered down espresso. We opted for the espresso, which was served in plastic espresso cups. That would have been okay if the espresso was any good, but it wasn't. It had an odd taste, almost burnt. I can't believe how many times I've driven right past this place since they opened!!!! I started following them on Facebook since they opened and was meaning to check them out, but just never made it there. Today while I was getting an oil change nearby I decided to take a walk over while I waited. My first impression was "wow, what a great place "!!! Very clean and minimally decorated. There were only a few people sitting inside and no one outside at the seats there. I ordered at the counter and was handed the hand pie I picked on a lovely fine china dish and handed silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin (I just LOVED those 2 little touches). I was told I could have a seat and they would bring my iced latte to my table when it was ready. I picked a little table that seated 2 with lovely fresh flowers on it (they all had fresh flowers). I really enjoyed my beverage and pie (everything is freshly made here with local ingredients when available). I will definitely make a point of stopping here more often, this place is really a little treasure. read more

Ended up at this adorable little place after the first place we intended to go was closed. I am SO glad we went here. The atmosphere is cute, a bit hipster, and comfortable casual. The food is all locally sourced and all the baked goods are scratch made. I had two eggs with greens and a smashed potato and it was so satisfyingly yummy. Hubby had a honey butter biscuit egg and sausage sandwich with gouda that looked phenomenal. He was happy with his choice! I had a mocha coffee that was delish and hubby had an Irish Americano. Truly a gem in Webster. A small cafe with a decent amount of tables and seats along the counter near the wall. The counter to make the orders are filled with sweets and a few plants on sale which is difficult to ignore. Some other items i.e books, local honey, and jams are for sale which you shouldn't ignore. The menu though! The coffees are great but the actual food is what will blow get you to come back! Everything house made! The muffins.. Cookies.. cakes... You have to try everything because the menu changes according to season. My advice to you though... Ask the people behind the counter for their recommendation to eat or drink. The old Webster First Federal Credit Union bank in front of me, "What an eyesore." I thought now due to the building being abandoned. Turning my head to the left I noticed a small cafe. Placed near a small chapel I thought to myself, "Ah, what the hell." I turned into the bank after the light turned green, turned around and made my way inside of The Rose Room Cafe & Tonic Bar. Entering the cafe you're greeted with the smell of fresh baked goods even at the end of the day. Plants are gathered around the windows showing a home grown welcoming. Crafted goods are shown to the right of the entrance as well as two welcoming faces. I entered the cafe at 3:55pm and approached the front counter. I was greeted with a smile. "Hello! What can I get for you?" "Oh, I have no idea I won't be ready for at least five minutes." I replied unaware that they were in the process of closing. You see, the cafe is open from eight am- four pm almost everyday. Unknown to myself at the time I was still greeted with a smile and made aware of the times they were open. I smiled and apologized for coming in at closing. Explained the situation then took the time to look around at the products they had around the cafe. One of the kind individuals introduced herself as Sam. I kindly did the same, and told them both I appreciated their time and the explanation of the cafe. The Rose Room is a cafe that expresses what most of us would want in an establishment. Food grown locally ranging from nearby towns, but all of which is within the New England area. It's a true gem within the community. This writer only hopes that it can last through the times we're having economically. 5/20/22 8:07 AM EST Deciding to take the time this morning to truly dive into The Rose Room Cafe & Tonic Bar. Walking into the cafe I was greeted yet again with a heart warming smile. "Hey, Welcome back! Chris, right?" Nodding and acknowledging Sam as well, I looked over the menu. The food on the menu is quite simplistic, but yet elegant. Do not let the prices deter you. Dishes ranging from the "Egg Sammy" eight dollars to a "Butternut Flatbread" seventeen dollars and a "Meatball Melt" at twelve dollars. Mind you these are not your simple sandwiches. The Egg Sammy consists of two eggs, goat cheese, fresh greens on a oat + molasses bun. I failed to mention that all of their breads and baked goods are all crafted in house. Now for something we all know and love... Meatball Melt, 100% beef meatballs with melted cheddar + aioli on bread? I wonder what kind of bread... Can you choose? What selection do they have? I'm sorry dear reader I cannot give you all the answers for that will forgo the experience of being here for yourself. What I can tell you after reading over the menu I decided on getting a Biscuit with sausage and gouda. Price being eight dollars seemed a little steep for me at first, but I'm up to trying anything once. I also ordered a drink recommended by Sam. Now I'm not a coffee drinker, nor do I enjoy Vanilla. These two things were made aware of to her before ordering. Hearing this she still insisted on her favorite. A vanilla latte, freshly made with their in house vanilla sweetener. The presentation was quite cute. There was effort put into the cup as I took my first look at it. Upon taking the first sip, I got a flash of sitting around a fire enjoying what had to have been my first marshmallow roasted by the open flames. Before I knew it, half of the cup was gone. Catching myself I refrained from gulping it down like a fish. The biscuit was brought to me soon after sitting down at my table. At first look I questioned how it was going to taste, but on the first bite. I experienced something I haven't had in a long time. My grandmother's fresh made handcrafted biscuits, when I was a child, of all different kinds and this took me back to those. The gouda and sausage added to the flavor of the biscuits. That bite was an experience I haven't had in quite some time. I sit here writing this as I take the last bite of the biscuit, the taste of butter with the hardened exterior creates a lasting impression. Then taken back to a smore sitting among friends at a fire taking the final sips of my latte. Dear reader. There are few things that we truly enjoy in this world as a whole. A good meal is certainly one of them. Far too often we're worried about the price rather than the quality of the items we're placing within ourselves. I would ask you to explore other options than those you're finding ourselves acostume to. A large meal that is eaten in a matter of minutes is nothing compared to a well crafted plate, made with love, enthusiasm, and devotion. Find the time to experience. Sometimes eclectic can feel chaotic to me but The Rose Room does it right. It's super clean and organized. They are friendly and helpful. Their menu is not the ordinary cafe menu. I am so glad that we adventured to The Rose Room this morning!!! Walking in simply felt like home (possibly because they have some of the same chairs my grandfather had!). From the mismatched, antique china and chairs to the freshly baked pastries, I knew we were in for a treat. I got a cold brew with oat milk, which had delicious mapley vibes, and a sausage, gouda, and egg biscuit. The beau had the biscuits and white bean, mushroom gravy with a strong pour-over. The biscuits are true showstoppers. The gouda was incredible. The gravy could have been a meal of soup on its own. Jess welcomed us warmly and asked for our names, which was just a simple kind and homey moment. Bill was hard at work making breakfast but was sure to check in with us when he had a moment between orders, along with the barista. This is the gem of Webster. The vibe and aesthetic is welcoming and comfortable. The beverages are creative and there is always something new. The rosemary mocha is spot on and a seasonal favorite. My boyfriend loves the super mushroom chai. The tonics are fantastic, ask for a flight and try them all!! The meatball melt is delicious and the surprise ingredient you'll have to taste to believe! The blue melt is perfect, with the bite of the great hill and crunch of the apple. The yolks and spuds is the perfect savory breakfast. Just get a baked good, you'll thank yourself. The cinnamon rolls are like clouds and any of the vegan offerings are a must have. Now that they have a liquor and beer menu watch out. The Draft list will have you pulling up Untappd and will pair perfectly with anything on the menu. Just check them out. Can't wait to enjoy there new late night hours! read more
