The proprietor has trademarked the phrase, ' the perfect marriage between a cupcake and a truffle'. Here's the bottom line, they're cake pops without the stick. Having said that, they are delicious little delectable treats in a variety of flavors. I saw some people whining about the price. I felt the $20 for 16 various flavors was extremely reasonable. They pair wonderfully with a cup of coffee after a meal. Just the right size to indulge and feel no remorse lol The owner is super friendly and has a niche in the area unique to her. Finally stopped here. I have been following this place on FB since they opened and were in a different location, but I never stopped in....until today. Really, I've driven past this place a million times, but either they weren't open or it wasn't a convenient time to stop. Today I made a point of going there. This is a small place off the beaten path, but on a well traveled road. You pretty much have to drive past it to get to the local hospital. It's bright and clean inside with easy to read menu boards on the wall and a big glass case full of Cakettes. Cakettes? Little cake/truffle balls that come in different flavors and are decorated with frosting. I picked an iced latte and 2 Cakettes...chocolate raspberry and red velvet. The young lady working behind the counter freshly made my iced latte to my liking. Unfortunately, probably due to covid they still don't have seating inside, but do have some outside tables (it wasn't a pleasant day for sitting outside). I took my treasures to my car to enjoy. My iced latte was delicious and those little Cakettes were the perfect little treat!! My whole order came to $5.58!!! I'm going to make a point of stopping more often to support this little business!! And they also take special orders for holidays, birthdays, baby showers etc!!! read more

We love this little place, which is definitely off the beaten path. They specialize in Cakettes. What is a Cakette you might ask? According to their website, they are the perfect marriage between a cake and a truffle. "You know the times when you have that urge for a little chocolate, but don't want to overindulge? We agree with these statements, and think their Cakettes are tasty without being heavy, and bordering on a work of art! Ordered some Cakettes for a special occasion and they were lovely! Very tasty and beautiful. Everyone thought they were very nice. My husband suggested to me that we order them again for our next occasion too. (Our only complaint is that they are all made with egg and there's an egg allergy in our family, so that person could only look and not eat. But most people won't have this issue.) There's nothing wrong with this place and the syrup oil flavoring they use in their coffee is pretty good but the location isn't near much else and the price of the actual Cakettes is quite high. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a snack and a warm drink, this is not it. The atmosphere and staff were not welcoming and we did not feel comfortable eating/drinking inside the shop. We ordered 3 mochas (on 2 different days and from 2 different servers) and all of them were luke warm and the cups were not full. Muffins = stale. I would give them 4 stars for the quality of their cakettes and shortbread cookies if that was the only thing to take into consideration, but the overall experience was subpar and only deserves a 2/5 in my opinion. Won't be going here again to find out if they are really worth more than 2 stars. Not worth the price. If you are only planning on ordering cakettes to go, you will probably have a fine experience. read more

Beautiful little shop. Just bought a 16 piece and the cookies and cream are unbelievable!!! So many different flavors. I still think the pancake breakfast is the best with real bacon in them!
