Great atmosphere and good service but not a fan of their omelettes or home fries. My wife's Veggie omelette was delicious with goat cheese but my cheese and sausage omelette had almost no cheese in it. The thing about my meals was the grilled bagel.... Which was delicious. Home fries are almost un-eatable with the lack of taste. I'd go back only because my wife enjoyed her Veggie Omelette but i probably try the French toast.

Great service and ambiance. The retro space vibe is a lot of fun, and the decor transports you out of this world. The food is very good; I like a little more spice, so I did a bit of adding salt, pepper and sauces at the table. Overall, an excellent cafe.

    Plate sized cakes! Yum!!

Wow what a great find! Service was quick & friendly and the place has really fun decor. I'm kind of a pancake snob & not are their pancakes HUGE but some of the best I've ever had. Plus they do breakfast all day! I'll definitely be back!

What an intriguing spot this is! It replaced the old diner on main. WOW, they made some substantial changes. The whole vibe is this kind of galactic theme with a spacey decor. Plenty to take in whilst you converse and eat. The food is super reasonably priced in this modern era of inflation. Breakfast cost what breakfast should, refreshing. It is straight forward diner food with snazzy celestial names. However, they ramp up the usual with things like a bacon jam(put it on anything you can!!) and an apricot chutney. Those small changes elevate this place to noteworthy. The service is excellent as well. Attentive and friendly. Recommend! Bon appetite!

The painted baker cafe is an adorable retro spot with great food. I had a special called the fiesta boat which had scrambled eggs with bacon, onions, peppers, potatoes, and cheddar cheese in a croissant bowl. It was awesome and huge the only thing that would have made it better was if the potatoes had a bit of salt and pepper. Our waitress was prompt and very friendly.

What a great new little breakfast and lunch spot!!! My friend and I met up for breakfast here recently. I had read the reviews before we came and someone had written that the coffee was terribly strong. My first question I asked was about the coffee, our server informed me that they had a little bit of a learning curve to perfect the right amount of coffee grounds to add and now it was good. I ordered an iced coffee and it was very good. I also ordered an egg sandwich on an everything bagel with linguica patty and cheese and a side of home fries. My sandwich was very good, but I was disappointed that there was really hardly any 'everything' on my bagel and next time I'll ask for butter on the bagel. My home fries could have been a little warmer but they were very tasty nonetheless. My friend ordered a traditional breakfast and was very happy with her meal too. They have a case near the front door of items that they bake ...scones, donuts etc. and they looked very good too. Our server was excellent. We loved the 'Jetsons' decor inside!!

I liked the feel of the place when I first walked in. Very friendly staff, and the food came out super quick. The breakfast sandwiches were good, I would've given four stars if the home fries were cooked more. They needed to cooked first then cooked more. Some tasted like they weren't cooked. Will def be back and next time I'll just ask for the home fries to be well done and now I know.

Ok...I need to be fair here. My breakfast was good. Great..no..but good. They are new and I WILL go back. The theme and decor are excellent but when I go for breakfast...I want the breakfast to be excellent. Again...good but nothing I couldn't get at a regular diner. Service was EXCELLENT...they have that down.. as a side note - they do have housemade donuts which look amazing but I wasn't in the mood. I'll make sure to grab one next time. Would I say try it..sure, let me know your thoughts. As a note...the menu says home fries but they serve breakfast potatoes...the bf says I'm being picky....but it's a thing for me..

Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

With good reviews and a cool menu we dropped in and couldn't have been happier! We were pretty lucky as it was not that busy and we were able to get a table right away. The decor is eclectic and interesting. The staff came with a great smile and even better attitude; absolutely top notch! We started w the pretzels and beer cheese. Holy 6 pound baby Jesus they were good. They came out piping hot and the cheese was in a bubbling side dish. This isn't your typical dab of cheese in a plastic condiment container that is commonplace nowadays. I had the Arturo Sandoval (spin on a Cuban) as my entree and it was also fabulous and came out hot. If I was being critical, the pork was a wee bit dry, but that happens sometimes and it really didn't take away from the sando. Even the small side of pasta salad was outstanding. I'm lucky if I eat sides like that 1/100 times and this one I couldn't wait to finish. Great vibe, great staff, great food, and live music almost every day. I was here at lunch time on Tuesday, so it wasn't busy, but it is a very spacious interior with a number of distinct sections, so you could easily come here for the bar area or a nice meal out. I had the daily special appetizer: poutine. Additionally I got a rib eye done Montreal style. The poutine was great, though pretty large for an appetizer. This could have been a meal all on its own. Nice crispy pub fries, melted cheese, and brown gravy, all flavorful but not too salty. I did put a good amount of it in a to-go box because I would have had no room for lunch if I'd finished it. The rib eye came with asparagus and fries (for some reason you can't get mashed potatoes until after 4pm?), and oh man can I see why they've won awards for this. With the Montreal seasonings and blue cheese butter, there was no lack of flavor, and this steak was cooked nicely medium rare.
