My favorite place. This is where I feel like home and haven't had a chance to go in about 10 years until this weekend. It was still the best. We got there late and the kitchen was closed but they graciously brought us chips and salsa. The drinks are always top-notch and the atmosphere is so cool. There was a great folk duo playing when we went this time but they have some awesome music every time I go.

Tai me to the stool cocktail

Got the pretzels with beer cheese... BEST beer cheese we have ever had. Local IPA's and fresh fruit cocktail is where it's at. Stumbled upon this place from Long Island and so thankful to have come here. Terry is not only a great bartender but turns out to be the NICEST owner in the business. Service was great, friendly and punctual. The ambiance leaves you smiling and like you are part of this great community. Cannot recommend enough!!

My friend and I recently went to The Stomping Ground for lunch. We absolutely loved the decor!!! It was so cute in here, definitely could feel the vibe of the old days in here (without pretending to be vintage). We had a great server and she was very helpful with suggestions. My friend ordered the pot pie and I ordered my usual Caesar salad with chicken (of course), plus a side order of toasted pita bread. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. My friends pot pie was a tad burnt and my Caesar salad was not great, the chicken wasn't grilled as it normally is everywhere else I order it. The server had told me when I ordered that they cook the chicken overnight in a crock pot and it's delicious. It reminded me of pulled pork (except chicken). The chicken was shredded and came in a pile on the side of the salad. I didn't care for the dressing either. This was expensive too...$14. for the salad and $2. for the toasted pita. The restaurant has some interesting menu items, but I think they just need a little tweaking to make them outstanding.

This was my first time going here. It was great the server was nice. The food was amazing I had pulled pork and I loved it. The Ambience/vibe was chill not too crowded. There is music playing in the background chill music not loud. They have live music 6 days a week. The bacon brownie was amazing.

Midweek at the Stomping Ground Putnam. Start the weekend early. Frenchie and the Punk, more great live acoustic music...reminds me of Siousie and the Banshees-lite. Tambourine is OK, but needs more...cowbell!

The food was very, very greasy. My dish, which was flavorful, it was a Mac and cheese with bbq pork and I liked it. But very greasy. The pot pies weren't really pot pies because there was no crust. It was all cheese, potatoes, and grease. In the photo you can see it's completely drenched in oil. The grilled cheese was good though, but it's odd that you can't choose your own side to go with it. And the other sandwich was not very good.

Saw the offer on the menu . Asked about it and provided my I'd card and the waitress came back and said 10 % . Not sure why I wasn't offered what it said on the menu. But the man who was a big fat guy I might add clearly doesn't know what he's looking at . A military veteran who has not retired will not have an ID card , no way to verify his or her service . I wouldn't have inquired about it if it wasn't on the menu and if I thought I would be humiliated by some fat guy who clearly has not served himself . Our party of four ordered two drink flights - Old Fashioneds (peach, blueberry, and the Dudley) and Mojitos (rose, lavender, pineapple, and raspberry) and three appetizer flights deviled eggs (bacon, shrimp, and Dorito), egg rolls (Tex mex, Philly cheese steak, and buffalo chicken), and calamari (Rhode Island, creamy, and sweet chili) - all delicious. We then ordered a meat trio with steaks and steak tips and a seafood trio with baked stuffed shrimp, scallops, and salmon. The steak was very tender and the salmon and shrimp were excellent. However - the reason I chose this was for the cheese wheel. I ordered the pasta flight with three types of pasta (gnocchi with Gorgonzola, ziti with vodka sauce, and spaghetti marinara with grilled chicken). The server wheeled out the two cheese wheels and lit them on fire to heat up the cheese. Then took each already prepared pasta and heated it up in the melted cheese. The pasta was average and the pasta and chicken were lukewarm but the experience was fun. My only complaint is that the pasta came out after everything else. But that's understandable. Dessert was cheesecake and a flight of espresso martinis (Reese's, Caramel, and original) and a great way to end the meal. Service was great and overall a nice dinner.

Very first thing I noticed was that the sign was absolutely ridiculously faded. We actually drove right by it the first time trying to find the place. If the owners trying to hide his establishment from customers, he's doing an excellent job with that sign. We sat down, the waitress didn't seem very enthused to help us on a Labor Day. I think that my pizza crust had more personality than our waitress did. She kind of warmed up towards the end, when it was time to get the bill, and we needed to decide what to tip. When it comes to the actual pizza... I think it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS PIZZA. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. This being said, after i ate, I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands, it was an absolute nightmare. This bathroom had clearly not been cleaned in a while. Gross toilet seat, with fecal matter and toilet paper stuck to it. The sight of this makes me a little worried, because this will probably be the similar condition of the kitchen. This place would probably get five stars from more people if they did a couple things: 1. Employ staff that seems enthusiastic about their job and makes the customers feel welcome. 2. Clean your damn bathrooms. 3. Invest in a sign out front that people can actually see from the street. 4. (This one probably doesn't matter) but I think the whole quarterback theme for a pizza place is really stupid. And the name is pretty stupid as well. This being said, I probably will return and bring some other people. And we will give it a second chance. Don't let me down Quarterback Sneak Club or whatever the hell you're called.

Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.
