Steak was good for it steak house steak but it was cooked perfectly to the temperature I asked
    Robert F.

So let's get this out of the way The place is very clean read on... Chelsea our waitress is amazing. High energy, friendly, and knows everything on this menu which has like a hundred items. Fantastic personality. I stepped into 1975. There is a salad bar with a sneeze guard. There was soup and salad. Fresh. I didn't have the soup but my friend said it was ok. But know what happened, people on line at the salad bar talked to eachother. So now you know, it's Friday night and the place is packed. Energy high, people having fun and cross table conversation. It's not a dinner, but the menu reminds me of one. Food is better than a diner and seems made here. But there is so much I'm not sure how it all could be. Maybe because it's a small town, and they hire right, with good food. It's like cheers in here. It might not be a Michelin star resturant but I have never had a complete stranger at a Michelin star resturant hand out with me at the salad bar and discuss which homemade bread might be better. Now one thing interesting. Two tables over someone brought their own bottle of pepsi and has their iPhone propped up watching TV without headsets. I can hear it. It's not quiet here, but this is out of place and out of line. But not the resturant fault. The staff hasn't stopped, and they are not shorted handed. There is an insane amount of staff on. Both front and back of the house. Side notes. The table next to me got the veal parm, it looked fantastic. He didn't finish half of it, the serving was huge. There is a fresh lobster tank I hope you come experience it here. The locals will probably mad but you'll thank me.

Riverview is quickly becoming one of our favorite places. We live about 20-25 minutes away, but it's worth the trip. The food is good. My husband loves the salad bar and soup tureen.

THE BEST baked meat ravioli (5/5; highly recommend) would definitely come back just for this.

The food was amazing. We got the meat baked ravioli (5/5) and the prime rib w/ mashed potatoes (4/5). The prime rib was great, I'm just not a big meat eater so a side of Angel hair pasta would be amazing (they only have spaghetti or penne). The salad bar was pretty nice, I do wish there was more than one soup option. I wanted to try the shrimp Jammie Dinner but was told that was no longer on the menu. Next time - I definitely want to try their shrimp stuffed shell. Service was mediocre and ambiance was pretty cozy! Will definitely return for the food!

    16oz NY Sirloin delicious

This place deserves so many better ratings. The food is DELICIOUS. The salad and soup bar is always so fresh and amazing. My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times now and we've had the chicken parm 10/10, the 16oz NY sirloin which was amazing. The lasagna is great. The best of all to date is the steak teriyaki. It was so tender & flavorful. Their prices are phenomenal & one of the main reasons why we go there all the time now. It's hard to find amazing food for a decent price. We have yet to try their seafood but we are positive it's going to be great! Even their chicken tenders are amazing. Also their food doesn't come out in 15 min because it's always fresh & you know you're getting something good! Patience is worth it for what you get.

I have no idea why this restaurant is always busy. The food is gross and the service is sub par. I won't be back.

Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

There's a lot of nostalgia tied to this place, but the experience today feels like a shadow of what it used to be. The quality has dropped drastically. Service was, frankly, atrocious--slow, disengaged, and bordering on indifferent. The beer selection is still decent, but it doesn't matter much when every pour arrives tasting off. Whether it's bad kegs or hot glasses, the result is the same: lukewarm, skunky beer that's hard to enjoy. Food was another disappointment. Every item came out cold, and the flavors were on par with grade‑D fast food--bland, lifeless, and nowhere near the standard this place once had. Giving three stars feels generous, but it's a nod to the legacy Willibrew built over the decades. I truly hope they find their footing again, because right now, the nostalgia is doing all the heavy lifting. Ummmmm cheers I guess

The menu offers everything from soups and salads to scallop meals and sandwiches. Extremely well priced. There are about a dozen tables and a few high tops as well as a bar for seating. Parking is across the street. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I wish they had brewed iced tea, but they said it only comes from the fountain. Ick! Ordered a bowl of clam chowder soup. Very creamy and good flavor. The clams seem to be gritty. Probably could use a good rinse before they are cooked. But overall, the flavor and consistency our clams and potatoes with each bite was nice. Ordered the cod sandwich with onion rings. The cod sandwich is quite large. Served on a brioche bun with tomatoes and lettuce and a lemon wedge It was served piping hot. The fish, although large and presentation was nice, it lacked flavor. The batter was not completely cooked toward the meat of the fish. You get your choice of side and we had onion rings. They were standard side, but cooked to perfection. Overall, I was pleased with this restaurant. I would give the ambience a five out of five, the weight staff service was five out of five and the food would be a solid four. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

There was a good selection of specials that day but I settled on the beer battered fish and chips and the clam chowder. Clam chowder came quickly and it was a bit of a disappointment. It really should have been labeled potato chowder because that's what it mostly was comprised of. Very pieces of clam and the seasoning wasn't that great. Not sure there would be another order the next time I go to the restaurant. The fish and chips was the star of the visit. Fish had a nice light coating of batter, very crunchy and flavorful. As always the cod was incredibly fresh and flaky and well fried. The fries were also very crunchy and held their crunch throughout the whole meal. This is definitely a dish that will be ordered again. The seating is comfortable but it is an old style restaurant, think of going out to dinner with Mom and Dad in the 60's but don't let that put you off trying this establishment.

To the right of the entrance is a bar with high-top seating and an older dining room w/tables, Windsor style chairs and carpeted floors beyond the bar. A selection of country music played softly in the background. This is most definitely a 'local' spot. There were plenty of customers who know each other. They are very comfortable with the staff and each other. Pro top: If you are easily offended by 'salty' language, I recommend you sit in the dining room to the left of the entrance - furthest away from the bar. A hostess seated us with menu's, took our drink order, delivered it, then let us know our server would be with us soon. I watched the bartender making my drink and I'm not sure she actually knew what she was doing and the drink tasted that way so maybe it was something they don't normally prepare. Pro tip #2: The on-tap beer price is good. When our server arrived they were very no-nonsense (curt? brief? concise?). We both ordered entrees and chose mashed potatoes as a side. We were asked if we wanted gravy which was confusing because one of the entrees was fish and I couldn't imagine gravy on fish. It was for the mashed potatoes of course. Duh. So pro tip number 3: no matter what the protein, gravy is available for your mash. Although our soup and salad were immediately delivered to the table, we waited quite a while for our entrée to appear. After about twenty minutes or so (? could be less, could be more, not watching the clock, but we had an idea of when we arrived) I noticed our server walking by the table noticed no food. They went back into the kitchen and returned immediately with our meals. They were luke-warm and the fish had a 'hard' top. Not sure if it was under a heat lamp, but definitely had been sitting somewhere for a bit before arriving at our table. Knowing I'm not in the kitchen or do the ordering, here's a few things we noticed about our meal. The side salad was fresh and cold with a couple of green pepper strips, onion, cucumber and dressing served in a plastic container on the side. Nice option. The soup of the day was very much like a condensed version you can buy at the market. The pot roast does not appear to be the type of roast you purchase at the meat counter and throw in the over (or crock pot). It was more like a loaf of meat-pressed together bits. The texture was wrong. The spice on the Cajun salmon had a good level of spice. Mashed potatoes had large chunks of potato and little seasoning. The gravy looks like it comes from a jar. Based on taste and texture, I wouldn't be surprised if the pie came from a box. The drink prices are good, and most of the regulars were sitting at the bar, not eating. There was one large party that was eating so much food! Fish and chips, pasta, soup and way more. So clearly they have their fans. This is a case of know thyself.
