First time trying Mama's, we showed up on a Saturday morning for breakfast during a snow squall. Place wasn't overflowing but they were busy. Our waitress was so attentive and kind. The food took longer than we expected and most of the surrounding tables ate and left before we got our orders. However, the food was great though! It was not greasy at all and the portions were big. I got the not so little combo C which was around 12 dollars . The French toast was really good , would of tasted even better had they had real maple syrup. The sausage was delicious and cooked nicely. It had an amazing flavor with a little kick , not spicy but peppery . The eggs were also cooked perfect and tasted very fresh. My only complaint was that the toast was closer to being bread than toast. It was not crispy and was very soft and almost soggy. We recently heard about this fairly new restaurant and decided to give them a try tonight. We arrived shortly before 5 pm, and were surprised to find no one else was there for dinner yet. (It was getting busy by the time we finished We seated ourselves and were quickly greeted by the owners daughter (I believe) who was our waitress. She was very friendly and called the owner over to let her know it was our first visit. The owner (Mama) was pleased to tell us that she uses all fresh ingredients and everything is made from scratch. It was obvious she takes great pride in her cooking. My partner ordered the prime rib (Tuesday special) and could pick 2 sides. He chose mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. I picked the chicken parm with penne. Our dinners arrived in a timely manner and everything was delicious. The chicken parm dinner was so big there was no possibility of me eating the whole dinner. We really enjoyed our meal and you can tell this family really cares about your experience. Our meals and one beer with tax came to $40.10, we will return. read more

Wow. Lots of love put into each dish! You can tell that the owner put a lot of thought into this menu (which is very Mediterranean heavy. Expand your tastebuds!). We had the calamari with Pepperoncini and garlic as well as the prime rib. Everything was VERY flavorful and cooked exactly how we wanted it. The fries were perfectly crisp and probably some of the best I've ever had. We ended the meal with rice pudding. I've never had it before. IT WAS SO AMAZING!! Mama's Kitchen is absolutely delicious!! First, my 10 year old raved about how delicious her chocolate chip pancake was and how it's the best tasting pancake she ever had! I ordered the "Not so little combo A" which I chose to have the 2 scrambled eggs, home fries, homemade corned beef hash, waffle and toast. The waffle was so light and fluffy, the homemade hash was amazingly delicious and the eggs and home fries were cooked to perfection! Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday morning, and it seemed clear that they never should have opened. Waited 90 minutes for simple food for two adults and a 2-year-old. When it arrived, it was both not quite the right order and, respectfully, not very well-made. I don't blame the servers or even the cooks; it was clear they were deep in the weeds. I can only presume that they had several workers bail on the same day. The prices were very reasonable, and it seemed like it would be a charming hole-in-the-wall diner. Wow!! You MUST visit Mama's kitchen!! Amazing food, great portions, FRESH, cooked to order, lots of options regarding side dishes. Mama even came out to visit our table, who even does this anymore?? Very reasonably priced, Kiki (our server) coulden't be more time pleasant. Mama and her family made me and my friend feel like we were part of her family. Not much to notice as you pass by this establishment while driving down the road, but whatever you do, if you're hungry, please put on the brakes! You won't be sorry. Lots of warm hellos greeted us as we entered a cute little bar area. As we looked around we were told to keep walking ahead and we'd find a larger dining area to the left. It looked very clean with warm decor, AND sports photos of all the favorite New England teams. Our waitress Melanie was so sweet. She explained menu items as we inquired and she brought everything quickly and with a genuine smile. The kebbeh (sp) balls made of ground meat inside of bulgher wheat and deep fried, were so very yummy and served with a delicious hummus for dipping. Mamas chili in a bread bowl was hearty with a kick of heat, but just the right amount. Served with cheese melting all over the top. The macrona beschemel is like a lasagna but with pasta layered with a creamy cheese sauce and then topped with a big pile of red meat sauce on the very top. It was divine! At the very end of our meal, when we should have stopped, Melanie talked us Into dessert! We shared a cup of the best creamy rice pudding. It was so good that we actually wished we had ordered two! And then, Mama, from Egypt, came to our table. She introduced herself and asked how everything was. She told us that they also do great breakfasts and brought us menus to look at. We talked about canned corned beef hash vs homemade and we finally there knowing that without a doubt we will be going back to this cute, quaint little place! You should definitely try Mamas Kitchen. I decided to give alley CAT a chance after a BAD experience at Mama's kitchen. So I went to Mama'sKitchen. I ordered bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with an extra slice of bacon and an OJ. She asked if I wanted a side of bacon and I said no just an extra slice on the sandwich. So she rings it up and it came to $15.45. I questioned it and asked for a refund. She explained the bill and that a side of bacon was $4.50 and I told her I didn't ask for a side. she started being rude to me telling me well thats how it goes, extra bacon comes on the side. What's sad is that a customer sitting at the counter even questioned her and why if I was asking for 1 slice of bacon that she would charge me for a whole side. Since the food wasn't cooked I asked her for a refund and she said they wouldn't do it, that "they are a small business and don't have the capability to do it" that is an absolute BS All "card swipe" machines have the ability to offer a refund. And before people start running their mouths it's only $15. It's the damn point. read more

It's not often I wright a review but in this case I felt it was necessary. My girlfriend and I had lunch there the other day and we noticed staff arguing with customers which seemed very unprofessional. When the food finally came out it was under cooked and when we mentioned something they didn't say anything but definitely seemed upset. We also noticed none of the kitchen staff wearing gloves so needless to say we will not be going back. read more
