Eggs Benedict was delicious! They were not stingy on the hollandaise sauce and it was very flavorful. Cash only, but they have an atm.

Best home fries around. The food and service were great. We would definitely recommend this place.

Just a terrible physical location. Everything is wonderful about SCR and I enjoy all the coffee,…read morebaked treats and goodies the offer from other local vendors - also the inside of this store is beautiful and chic always clean and tidy and quiet for a place to Get some work done or relax with a friend. Only thing that is bad about this place (and it's really bad) is the actually physical location of this store. It's on a pretty busy street ( Brookfield Road or Stafford) a really nice sign to welcome You but there is only 1 handicapped spot to park - the other spots are for the remnants of an apartment .. that is on the opposite site / above the coffee shop ! Seems wild to have signed that lease truly - not even foot traffic can pass by here it's so strange ! The actual parking lot is down a set of steps way too treacherous in the winter or frosty weather and a challenge for those with physical limitations (maybe not handicapped ) but even so there's only ONE spot for the disabled and those stairs themselves are confusing to where they bring you to on the side - I was pretty sure I almost opened the door into Someone's apartment kitchen trying to enter this place from What I thought was a side or back entrance ( would make sense since the parking lot is in Ohio) All in all it's a lovely shop but I won't be back based on convenience to get to.

Just a quick stop for a quick breakfast of French toast and coffee. Both were excellent, but what…read moreimpressed me most was the attitude of the staff. Extremely friendly and attentive. That alone would make me a regular customer if I lived closer. Quaint little place, a bit warm, which is a part of its charm. Lots of off street parking.

"Polk Salad Annie Gators got your granny"…read more(Elvis Presley) We found Annie's on Main Street in Sturbridge, just look for their big sign in the parking lot. Speaking of parking, there are plenty of spots in the parking lot where the restaurant is located. Annie's is a family-owned breakfast and lunch spot, opening at 7am and closing at 12 or 1 every day. You'll find just about any breakfast or lunch comfort food here, so even the pickiest eater in your party will find plenty of options. Their menu has a few interesting choices, like three different "Egg White Mixers" that combines vegetables or baked ham with scrambled egg whites and toast. We also were impressed with the Family Style Meals for four or six. We stopped for breakfast on Saturday and were seated right away by Paige. She was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My wife's breakfast order was a 4-egg Cheese Omelet ($9.50) served with Annie's Home Fries and choice of toast. I went for one of those Egg White Mixers ($8.25) and chose the Veggie with onions, peppers, and tomatoes, It was also served with Annie's Home Fries and choice of toast. I couldn't resist when I saw the magic words "Corned Beef Hash" on their menu, so I also asked for a side of their Fresh Homemade Corned Beef Hash ($7.25). My breakfast was fantastic, and that corned beef hash was loaded with lean shredded corned beef. Two Negatives 1) Have you ever been charged extra for hot sauce? Well, sadly Annie's charges $1 for those tiny plastic containers of hot sauce. 2) Coffee is a pretty important breakfast component, right? When I spend $4 for a coffee, I expect the coffee to be very good. Truth be told, Annie's coffee was terrible; it was incredibly weak and flavorless.

We looked online for local restaurants to dine at during our stay. Neither my girlfriend or I have ever gone to a French restaurant, so we decided on The Metro Bistrot, due to all the fantastic reviews. I called and spoke with Jay (chef and owner) a week prior to make the reservation. We took an Uber from the hotel, as it's BYOB and brought a couple of bottles of wine. This was a Saturday before a big snow storm the following day. I think due to this, the restaurant wasn't as busy as usual. We ended up being seated in the back room all to ourselves. It was a very nice room that had about 4 tables. Stephanie, our server was an absolute delight! Turns out she works for the hotel as well and she's the one I spoke with when we booked the room. She opened our Beaujolais for us and brought some wine glasses. She kept the bottle chilled in the fridge for us. She went over some of the specials being prepared that night and was able to make some nice recommendations. My girlfriend ended up with the special seafood soup special with a lobster stock as a base. I ordered the escargot. Both were absolutely fantastic. She kept our bread basket filled with wonderful fresh warm bread to soak up all the goodness of the soup and escargot. My girlfriend ordered the boar shank and I ordered the stuffed quail that was stuffed with foie gras and pate. The boar meat fell right of the bone and was some of the most tender meat we've ever had. Both dishes were phenomenal. Jay stopped by our table to chat. He's super nice and even took some photos with us. We ordered 3 different kinds of cheeses prior to ordering dessert. All three we ordered were great! Stephanie also brought us a bowl of crackers to go with the cheese. For dessert, my girl had the cheesecake with an oatmeal crust and fresh berries. I'm not usually one for sweets, unless it Crème Brûlée, so I opted for the Boursin stuffed Shrimp, forgetting it wasn't an appetizer, but a main entree. It was out of this world! All the fish Jay brings in are always fresh and NEVER frozen. He even poured me a small glass of some white wine and it went so well with the shrimp. We cannot wait to go back. The prices are very reasonable and the service and food is second to none. Cheers!

One chef and one server. It is byob and the menu isn't extensive. But it is mostly local and classic French. It is accessible and not pretentious. A place where the passion for French cooking is designed for locals. The food is interesting and has a casual vibe. Like a small village in France where farmers and artisans come. The space is small and seatings limited, so by the end of the night you can meet new friends if you want to. I would encourage you to bring an extra bottle of wine and share.
