Food: I got the egg Benedict, which was super delicious having that bake, half potato below and the crispy bacon on top. The lettuce made it a nice touch of crunch and freshness. I also enjoy their extra crispy fried home fries, and I'm usually not big on homemade fries to begin with. There's plenty of food, especially for what they offer. They say that it's cash only but they do accept card now. Service: our server was nice. They made sure that we got everything that we needed. Ambiance: it's a casual small diner that has a few counter seats and a couple of tables close together. My lunch partner and I stopped here recently for lunch for the first time. It's on a busy street and I've driven by this little place many times, it was a Yelp search that gave me the idea to try it out. Sisters is a small restaurant, very similar to a diner...counter service and tables. Our server was wonderful with lots of suggestions and details about different selections. My friend got the Swedish meatball dinner and I picked the pastrami sandwich on sourdough with fries. My friend loved her Swedish meatballs and said they were perfect. Always my go-to place when I need breakfast at any time of day. I generally get takeout, since I work right up the street, and the waitstaff always has it ready. My favorites are the French toast, the potato pancakes, and the homemade corned beef hash. There was an argument between a costumer and the server. I get both side but the server lost my support when she started throwing the menus on the ground and yelling. At the costumer. When the costumer asked why is it so much money for an omelette. (Don't go out if you can't afford to pay) The server got so mad about the costumer asking. Totally uncalled for!. On a separate note. I literally found 3 hairs on my food. I felt I couldn't say anything because the server may beat me up . I just pay the very expensive breakfast. At that point i understood why the other costumer was questioning the price. But i just pay and left and never coming back. Not because is super expensive but Because of the server's attitude, the 3 hairs on my food, super long wait, the fries were literally cold. Walked into a packed restaurant so I assumed there would be a wait. I was hoping someone would greet/address our party and let us know the wait time, but instead was just stared at and ignored. Promptly left after standing there with no room to move for a good two minutes. There's no where to park and the customer service is terrible. Didn't even get to eat here but can't imagine the food is any better than the customer service and ambiance. Recommend driving 3 minutes to City Line diner, there's actually parking, the customer service is amazing, and the food was excellent. read more

We continue to mine Worcester's stock of New England diners in search of breakfast glory. Annie's Clark being closed on Sundays, we went to the next one on the to-do list: Sisters Restaurant. It's a little bit out of the way if you're coming from Holy Cross as we were, but well worth it. Cozy on a freezing February morning, welcoming, and no-nonsense. All women running the place as the name suggests, and even this old-fashioned brother can get down with that scene. They certainly know what they are doing! When the first plate was ready it hit the table, and the second one arrived when its time came, a minute or two after. Fresh, hot, delicious. Their coffee as the second pic will attest rises to Mr Reacher's ideal. I had the Eggs Irish - Eggs Benedict with HOME-MADE corned beef hash. Please, like I died and went to heaven. My bodyguard had two over hard with sublime hashbrowns, sausage and wheat toast: the classic. See pics 3 and 4, sorry the I didn't take a pic of his meal quick enough, my man inhaled it. (We ordered one hashbrowns grilled, and the other fried. Still not sure which was which, but both were phenomenal.) The restaurant has that wonderful grill-and-hood set up I so crave for my eventual dream kitchen at home, and there's whimsy even in the terlet (last photo). When our Union finally blows apart, and you're wondering which side of the Mason-Dixon Line you should call home, forget the Waffle House side. This is a cute little spot that is so small I missed it and drove right past the first time! They have counter seating and tables. The girl that helped with our take out order was very nice and asked about utensils being needed which is very appreciated. I think I would have liked my pancakes had I eaten them immediately but after a 9 minute car ride home they were just okay. The service was great and the prices are cheap, I will definitely give this place another try and dine in next time. read more

Food was very good. They have a lot of creative items on the large menu. The Mediterranean omelet was very filling. The sun dried tomatoes went great with the olives and feta. This is kindof a little hole in the wall place. What I would call a quintessential east coast type diner. I'm a serious breakfast food person and this place didn't disappoint. Breakfast was pretty good! I had the Italian breakfast which is 2 eggs, Italian sausage served in red sauce, with home fries, and I got a 1/2 order of blueberry pancakes on the side. The Italian sausage was really good! Different, not super greasy, but thick and filling. The eggs were cooked perfectly (I like mine over medium), the pancakes were really yummy and filled with fresh blueberries. The only thing that was kindof lackluster were the home fries which were tasty but pretty greasy. My friend had scrambled eggs and pumpernickel toast and she said it was good as well. I would definitely eat breakfast here again, it's just good, basic, breakfast fare at a reasonable price. Just a heads up though they only take cash! Service was fast and friendly and they kept my coffee cup filled with fresh coffee. read more

Stopped in here last Wednesday for a late breakfast with my daughter. It wasn't terribly busy when we walked in and we grabbed a couple of seats at the counter at her insistence. We were greeted immediately upon sitting down and we placed our drink order. Though the daily lunch special were enticing, I decided to stick with breakfast and ordered a steak bomb omelet. We waited about twenty minutes for our food to come, which apparently was short that day as the couple sitting next to us was complaining that it had been forty five minutes that they were waiting.. If that was me, I would have left and taken the kid across he street to Subway. Luckily, my omelet was fantastic. The steak was quite tasty, certainly didn't taste like a steak um, and there was plenty of meat and veggies and very filling. The home fies were OK, nothing to write home about. The service was fantastic. I swear, every time someone walked past us, they checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. A small little place, but definitely worth the trip. Parking can be a bit tough as there is no parking across the street. read more

Went today for a late breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I have passed by this little restaurant for years always saying I should try it out. I'm glad I finally did. "Ono" is the Hawaiian word for delicious and the food was definitely ono. Had a late start to my day so I thought I'd give this place a try. I went in about 9am and has a seat at the counter. There were 4-5 other parties in the restaurant and 2 servers. It took quite a long time to be greeted and another few minutes before I was served coffee. After that the waitress took my order promptly. I had the standard 2 eggs over hard, sausage, home fries and a grilled English. It was served REALLY quickly. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Home fries were average, could use some seasoning. Sausage links are frozen, not fresh. I would return as I'd like to try the different varieties of French toast offered. Why are home fries with really good seasoning so tough to find? Do people really like bland potatoes? Will update after my second visit. read more

This was probably one of the coziest simple diners I've bin to. A real mom and pops kinda of place. The menu was nice and simple with a good selection not over bearing at all. This previous Saturday two friends and I decided to stop at this small, family owned, city diner with a diverse brunch menu to eat. We walked in and saw that it was slightly busy, with nearly all the tables full and waited a few minutes before we were approached and seated; but once we were seated we were promptly asked our drink orders which made up for the little wait we had. As she went to get our drinks, we took a look at the menu consisting of a mix of brunch items ranging from simple eggs and toast to an array of omelette options for breakfast, as for lunch they had options ranging from the typical burgers to even steak tips. Personally I'm an omelette eater so I went straight to that section, they had so many options but I decided to get Sisters' four egg omelette consisting of basically an assortment of breakfast meats and veggies with a side of toast and home fries. The serving was pretty generous for the price I'd have to say and they were not skimpy on their meat portions like other places I've gone to. All in all I'd have to say my tummy was happy and full for a good price with food still remaining to take home.
