Great new location off of Park Ave. It's across the street from Peppercorns and has its own parking lot, in addition to ample street parking. They have an expanded food menu now with snacks and banh mi. Nothing to write home about regarding their banh mi. The star of the show is their drinks! Their Ube Coconut Cloud and Taro Latte are amazing! They also sell their own bagged coffee, cake sliced, and various art and decor items. Great, friendly service. Spacious interior to dine in or get work done. And you can call in your order for takeout or order online via the various platforms - DoorDash, Chowbus, Seamless etc. Highly recommend!

I've heard good things about this café from Worcester natives. It's a modern and down to earth Vietnamese owned coffee shop. I wanted to dry the dalgona at first but it was sold out. I opted for the peach lemonade instead and it was really good. It was a slush and the lemonade flavor was not as strong as American lemonade. They added fresh peaches as garnish and it tasted really good together. Not too sweet and not too sour. A perfect balance. Although, it is pretty expensive here.

Our go-to order is the matcha latte with almond milk and salt foam. It's amazing! Super creamy and tastes authentic. We also got the banh mi egg pate, the pate layer was thin but everything else in it was filling. Service is professional and welcoming, overall the place is a good study spot for students and a calming place to sit and sip your coffee.

Delicious coffee and cute inside; a great place to do work. Try the salted foam latte or the Saigon latte!

Great breakfast with my kids. And the playlist was, according to them, fire. I had a latte and a breakfast sandwich and it was so good.

My bf got the corned beef hash, he mentioned it was good but very dry. He was rather eating my plate more than his own. I would say the corned beef hash is interesting as it has homefries mixed in, which was a bit much for us. Service - quick, got us in and got all of our orders correct even with a full house. We waited approx. 40 mins for a table though for 6 people even though we were quoted 20 mins. Ambiance - the ambiance was good, it's a nice little restaurant and has nice waitresses/waiters. However, for such a busy place, there is literally no parking due to it being so packed. Also, they don't take reservations on weekends, which makes it even tougher. Overall, good experience (besides the wait) and everyone had great food!

There was only parking on the street, but since it was a weekday, it was easy to park out front. We got the waffle with bananas foster, Nutella crepe and a side of bacon. The portions were big, but the waffle became soggy from the toppings. Since it wasn't crowded, it was quiet and calm. The drinks menu looked fun!

You'd be forgiven for walking past without a second look, assuming it's just another mom and pop breakfast and lunch joint. One doing a brisk takeout business for the neighboring businesses and likely not a place you'd try for more upscale fare. You'd be wrong! Beyond the admittedly dated decor and past the countertop service of dinner standards is a kitchen that turns out food that hits well above its weight. With a daily list of specials that would do most $50 a plate restaurants proud expect to have your first impressions blown away. Haddock cooked with a very Mediterranean mix of artichokes, olives, onions, and cherry tomato's in a lemon/butter/ fish stock, Jambalaya done wet in the traditional New Orleans style with house made creol seasoning, a shrimp and veg stir fry with Bok Choy served uniquely with fat fettuccine noodles in the house made broth. All spectacularly good, all incredibly under priced! A word about the wine list: there is none! Far better, it's BYOB with food that justifies pulling your better bottles. Perfect. Don't spread this around, but the daily lunch specials mirror the by reservation only dinner menu...for half the price. In sum, Theater Cafe far exceedes expectations and delivers a remarkable value. You come here for the food, not for the ambiance, perfect service, to be seen by the right people, or God forbid because some snooty food critic deigned to give it 5 stars. It's a place Michelin will never review and we should all be greatful for that.

My fiancé and I had been having a lot of trouble finding a venue that could host our crowd at a reasonable price, so we were beyond thrilled when Birchtree not only accommodated our 60 guests beautifully, but we actually ended up under budget. From start to finish, the service was phenomenal. The team was genuinely invested in making sure our night was perfect. They went above and beyond in every way and more than accommodated anything we needed. We had an outpouring of texts the next day from our guests. So many people let us know how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful of a time they had. The space itself truly showed a refined elegance which was the perfect kickoff to our wedding season. If you're thinking about working with BirchTree, Jayne, Caitlin, and the entire staff we're incredibly organized and attentive to detail, helping us set up, pack up, and even ensured all guests had clean tables, fresh drinks, and the bar staff recommended really unique cocktails & mocktails! We are so grateful to the entire BirchTree team, especially Jayne and Caitlin for helping us set the tone for our wedding. We would absolutely recommend having an event here - you will be in the best hands!
