I just love NU kitchen. They always have kind staff and a very clean and cute environment. Even on a busy day, I still get my food at a reasonable time. A little on the pricier side but I get it on special occasions. I highly recommend their fresh smoothies and acai bowls!

I'm not usually a huge fan of cafés, but this one was actually pretty solid. Their menu is fairly extensive, with something for everybody. I came in a group and we got a mix of sandwiches and salads. The smoothies looked yummy too! The vibes at NU Kitchen are very chill, with plenty of room for socializing and studying. The service is fairly standard, nothing in particular to note. Maybe I'd try their Somerville location next time.

10/10 experience!! Everything from the atmosphere to the food is exactly what you hope for in a upbeat, health-food spot. They have tons of well-lit, clean seating adding to the bright vibes and energy. The dining area has a variety of seating including spots with outlets. It's a great place to enjoy a meal either while getting work done or while relaxing with friends. As for the food, it's just as good! The dishes are packed with satisfying flavors and textures that are super refreshing. You can tell their ingredients are clean and cooked fresh!! Plus, their menu offers a large variety from specialty drinks and smoothies to sweet or savory breakfasts and salads/sandwiches/wraps for lunch. I tried their turkey flatbread and it was amazing! The pita is fluffy and crisp, yet not too bready making for a perfect combination with the tender turkey, crisp spinach, and creamy mayo. Their matcha isn't bad either: nice and creamy but just a little too sweet for my taste. The service is straightforward and helpful- they definitely have their operations running tight and smoothly. My food was brought out fast and fresh and the servers make sure you have everything you need. Even when it's busy, you'll be sure to be taken care of. Overall, this is one of my new favorite spots in all of Massachusetts for a peaceful, healthy breakfast or lunch and I cannot wait to come back!! Definitely worth a visit even if it's a far drive!

Ordered a mobile order last week here and I was very underwhelmed. The Buddha bowl was nothing like it was around maybe 3 years ago. It was so bad I couldn't finish it... honestly. The chicken wasn't even "roasted" or seasoned. The veggies were basically raw and seasoning (they put beets and dark carrot? Instead of the sweet potatoes like a long time ago) and had no seasoning. They put micros greens and some type of green that was so hard to even eat because it was fragrant. The dressing was also bland. The order was close to $20 but it did not feel worth it whatsoever.

I'm so glad they serve breakfast all day. I tried the vegan hot and meatless breakfast plate for the first time, and it was delicious--flavorful, filling, and worth the price. The Cortado coffee was smooth and surprisingly good. My favorite, the Smurf Juice, is always tasty and a great deal at $9.99, plus it comes in a reusable glass bottle. The café has plenty of seating, good Wi-Fi, and a relaxed vibe with lots of students working on laptops. I just wish there was one closer to me!

Food was so fresh and tasty! Really friendly staff as well. It's clearly a popular place, which isn't bad, but be prepared to wait a minute--it's worth it!

The food was good! The waffles weren't my favorite but the chocolate strawberry smoothie IS DELICIOUS!! The service was good considering how busy they were! And the ambiance is sooooo cute! They have plants inside, LED lights and paintings. So pretty for a photo shoot! And they even have an outdoor area! It was giving panera vibes. But a lot cuter and more comfortable. Perfect space to get work done (they have outlets). This was my first time here and i definitely recommend coming here for a refreshing and healthy snack! :)

NU Kitchen is a bustling place with a great vibe. Lots of energy. Diverse and healthy food options. People of all ages. You can order at the counter, at a kiosk, or through your phone. It's super convenient and they are efficient at preparing your order! The food.. excellent! I've had several of the breakfast plates, sandwiches, and waffles and they're all delicious with high-quality ingredients. I am addicted to the seasonal French toast latte and I don't even drink coffee. They pass the first rule of New England dining- no fake maple syrup!! Love this place and will keep coming back again and again!!

Really great salads and bowls! Best place in Worcester to get a healthy, whole-food plant-based meal.

I was in the area and stopped in for an early dinner to take home. The outside has nice seating, and the inside has a cool vibe with a lot more places to sit. The service was good, staff were pleasant. All the menu items sounded really good, but there are no prices on the physical menu. I ordered a salmon BLT, a Banh mi bowl with chicken, and a Smurf juice. The whole order was $45, excluding tip. The food presentation was great, it looked really good. But all of the flavors were just ok. The sandwich was the best part of the meal and it was bland. The Banh mi bowl tasted nothing like a banh mi, not a fan of the creamy sauce. The chicken had more flavor. The Smurf juice was good, but a lot sweeter than I expected. It came in a glass which I think I can reuse, that's cool. Overall 3.5/5.

Healthy food options for those who want protein without feeling bloated or eating fried food. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. Non soda drink options to choose from like Kombucha, fresh squeezed juices, sparkling water and coffees. Our family of 4 ordered the following meals: Bahmi Beef Sandwich with kettle chips, 2 Turkey and Avocado Flatbread Sandwiches and a Chicken Power Bowl with rice, quinoa, veggies and protein.

Delicious!! The breakfast sandwich with goat cheese is so unique and a great combo of flavors!

I really only LOVE the shakes and juices here which are so fresh and yummy. However, I'm giving it only 3 stars because it's TOO EXPENSIVE. I came here yesterday and spent $35 on 3 item (which included a polar seltzer). My sandwich was just two regular pieces of wheat bread (perhaps gluten free and special, but still, two small pieces of bread) with some bacon onions and lettuce - the "Southwest BLT." And the side was a small "cucumber salad" which was smaller than a jell-o shot I took in high school. Literally, it was in those tiny plastic cups that are one ounce. My friend got a salad with chicken. Not sure about the hype, but she didn't finish it if that says anything... The restaurant look/aesthetic is really nice though - however, every time I'm there it's packed with college kids on their laptops taking up tables. Overall, not bad, but too expensive for what you get. Notice I didn't mention taste...which could have made up for portions and pricing... Now, I get it: gluten-free, vegan, etc etc. but $35 for 2 small dishes and a bottle of Polar Seltzer? No thanks. Sorry!

Quintessential diner fare, done right. I have to admit though, looking around at other plates. Why the heck didn't I get breakfast? Wakey wakey, I love eggs and bacey. You'd be forgiven for walking past without a second look, assuming it's just another mom and pop breakfast and lunch joint. One doing a brisk takeout business for the neighboring businesses and likely not a place you'd try for more upscale fare. You'd be wrong! Beyond the admittedly dated decor and past the countertop service of dinner standards is a kitchen that turns out food that hits well above its weight. With a daily list of specials that would do most $50 a plate restaurants proud expect to have your first impressions blown away. Haddock cooked with a very Mediterranean mix of artichokes, olives, onions, and cherry tomato's in a lemon/butter/ fish stock, Jambalaya done wet in the traditional New Orleans style with house made creol seasoning, a shrimp and veg stir fry with Bok Choy served uniquely with fat fettuccine noodles in the house made broth. All spectacularly good, all incredibly under priced! A word about the wine list: there is none! Far better, it's BYOB with food that justifies pulling your better bottles. Perfect. Don't spread this around, but the daily lunch specials mirror the by reservation only dinner menu...for half the price. In sum, Theater Cafe far exceedes expectations and delivers a remarkable value. You come here for the food, not for the ambiance, perfect service, to be seen by the right people, or God forbid because some snooty food critic deigned to give it 5 stars. It's a place Michelin will never review and we should all be greatful for that.
