Great cornbeef hash. They mak their own breads. Great service. Nice diner. However they had the 3rd worst restroom I've ever been in!

Late breakfast today had the eastern omlette add mushrooms & sausage with the most amazing spicy hashbrowns... Can't forget the in-house made sourdough and pickle bread, which is to die for from Marvin's Corner Lunch Diner!

Wow I'm so into this place. Perfect vibe, kind staff, delicious food. Get the home fries and the pickle bread. And I got the Marvin's favorite breakfast. So sick. OWC certified (old world charm)

Had an amazing brunch here with friends. This diner has a cool retro feel to it. The waitress was super friendly and it was a great place to have a casual meal and catch up with friends or family. They had a really cool selection of hot sauces made locally in Worcester and with local ingredients. I really love the local business vibe and feel like I'm supporting the neighborhood. We ordered the hash and eggs ($12), Mrs. B's Favorite ($12), and the Sampler ($12). I highly recommend you ask for the spicy hashbrowns for your potato option instead of the home fries. I've had a lot of hash browns at breakfast places all over the country, but Marvin's are really special and stand above the rest. The paprika and spices they add to their crispy hash browns make them absolutely delicious. Another standout is their home-made bread. They make their own sourdough in-house and it was super fluffy with just the right amount of tang to go well with the sunny-side up eggs I had. They also had golden raisin bread as an option which I'll definitely try next time! There was an option to make my corned beef hash crispy which I really liked as it gave it a great texture and made it a lot less oily than a lot of other places I've had. For the Mrs. B's Favorite, we chose two bacon and two sausages which we upgraded to spicy Italian sausages. The sausages and bacon were pretty standard but nevertheless tasted good. The pancakes that came with the Sampler were also pretty basic and not something I would especially recommend over other places. Overall, it was a delicious brunch and I can't wait to come again!

Corned Beef Hash, homemade English muffin, egg over hard, hash browns with onions

Why is there no line here? The corned beef hash is yummy and homemade (NOT a cat food pancake), the chocolate chocolate pancakes are extra chocolaty (inside AND garnished) and fluffy, and they actually have hash browns. Friendly service, lots of light, and homemade bread. Excellent diner experience.

Mrs. B's Favorite: 2 sunny side up eggs, 2 bacon, 2 spicy sausage, spicy hashbrown and sourdough toast.

This cute diner is a great place to catch up with friends over brunch! The waitress was super energetic, friendly, and great at giving recommendations. There weren't many parking spots, but plenty of street parking on the side streets. The price was not bad as well, my meal was $13 excluding a drink (because I had water), tip, and tax. I got Mrs. B's Favourite with few changes. I got 2 sunny side-up eggs, 2 bacon, 2 spicy sausage ($1 extra), spicy hashbrowns, and sourdough toast. My friend recommended this place and this dish to me and it did not disappoint! The whole meal was delicious!!! The eggs were cooked perfectly, they were very generous with the butter on the toast, and the toast was amazing! The sausages and bacon were also very delicious with a nice char. The really nice find in this meal was the spicy hashbrowns! Unlike any other hashbrowns I've tried before, these homemade hashbrowns were brimming with flavour and had an excellent crunchy texture! I really loved it! The next time, I'm in Worcester, MA, I would love to come here for brunch again!

Great customer service with a smile. Good tasting food and their thick sliced bread is amazing. Old style diner, omelettes were amazing.

The waitress was awesome, super quick and attentive. Our food was at our table less than 15 minutes after ordering. Everything was great, a perfect classic diner breakfast. When…read moreyou have been out at the bars in Worcester and need a little something to absorb the alcohol ... and a plate of sausage, meatballs and pasta sounds like a good idea at 1 a.m. ... you come here. Ypu also get to see slme of the hardest working people on the planet navigate a small space while cooking for a packed restaurant. This is one of the few train car diners out there, popular in the 1930's and actuslly made near Worcester, these train car diners are a stalle of central Massachusetts. This isn't the New York or New Jersey style diner, its something uniquely its own New England setting. Its alwsys packed here. You'll be sitting elbow to elbow with boisterous and well lubricated club and bargoers on small yet surprisingly comfortabke stools at the counter ... or may be lucky enough to score one of the incredibly unckmfortable wooden booths, where the staff gets to watch 4 people attempt to navigate elbows and knees to eat their hangover saving food. The food here is not what you'd hope to get at any other restaurant. However, you can't knock it because the dry toast, rubbery omelettes and ketchup-like red sauce are one of the only options this late at night standing between you and a morning full of headache and sluggishness. Nothing you eat here will be good ... but it won't be bad either. Just as athletes and body buikders eat food as fuel, with little actual thought to the taste .. that's your mission here. This is a rite of passage for anyone who has lived in, or near, one of the worst small cities in the USA. Embrace and enjoy the tradition and the wonderfully vintahe interior, virtually unchanged with time since the 1930s ... 1990s ... and today. The only exception to that rule is that they mercifully started to take credit cards recently, making it a lot easier to make the call to walk through those rattling wooden doors at 2 a.m. still thinking about almost scoring at a bar.

Busy joint, tight seating, and energetic servers who keep attentive. -- Patty Melt: So much to like about this, from the marble rye (though I think pumpernickel) to the full size patty (better than the double smashed you get elsewhere) to the onions to the gooey melted cheese to the extreme juiciness and pleasing flavor. I didn't detect any Russian dressing, but this sandwich wasn't lacking for moistness or flavor oomph. A near-elite rendition and one of the best I've had in a while. Excellent. -- Fries: Included with the patty melt and a plentiful supply. The bad news: they're the dreaded industrial "coated" kind. The good news: they were piping hot and cooked perfectly, crisp outside, fluffy inside. The great news: you can substitute home fries. My server offered a sample of the home fries. -- Home Fries: I found them to be right in my wheelhouse for doneness, crispness, seasoning, onions, and overall texture and flavor. Superb. Between the good looking plates that passed by and my enjoyment of my own food on my first visit, there's sure to be a second. Looking forward to returning with my wife for breakfast and more of those home fries.
