I've been eyeing this place for quite a while and I finally made it a point to visit. It is so beautiful in here!! Lots of natural light and beautiful art pieces all around. I appreciate the self order kiosk as well. The staff here are all super welcoming and sweet. I ordered the turkey bacon avocado wrap without a side and a regular chocolate covered strawberry smoothie. It was ready super fast and taste amazing! I've come around to NU Kitchen now that its right around the corner. The espresso drinks are nothing to write home about, but they do good drip coffee and cold brew. The food is also pretty good. I used to work for Tatnuck Bookseller who used to occupy this space in the 1990s, so there is a strong nostalgic feeling when I come here. Very busy on early Saturday afternoon. My teenager was craving a fruit smoothie so we stopped by. She got the Tropical one, pretty basic but she loved it. We also decided to get a few things to eat from thier menu. Husband got breakfast tofu scramble wrap; large and slightly drippy, but he thought it was completely underseasoned. He ended up pouring the dipping sauce from the dumplings on it to make it better. Daughter tried rhe edamame dumplings--kind of dry fried so they had a weird texture. The flavor was good, but the dipping sauce was far too spicy--a simple side of garlic soy sauce would be better. I got the daily special bowl of soup that was chicken and wild rice. It was also very underseasoned but at least I could add some salt. Surprisingly pricey for the amount of food. We would return again as long as we remembered to bring our own condiments to make the food taste better. Atmosphere was pretty chill with a few tables of campers nursing coffees and playing chess. I went around lunch, the line was out the door, phone ringing off the hook and my server Grace was just that, a beacon of grace in the midst of chaos. So kind and patient and helpful while I asked all my questions (food restrictive). I remember her from years ago when I would come and the hospitality is still as 100% as ever. I used to eat here every week ~2 years ago, much less as I moved further away. Most recent was fall 2023 (my review is really late, sue me). The staff is always nice and the space is gorgeous. HOWEVER the food itself was shockingly far worse than it used to be. The green juice that used to be fresh was only available bottled (not necessarily an issue) several days old and tasted terrible. The bahn mi sandwich was dry and bland. The side salad that used to be a spicy cucumber salad was replaced with a flavorless and slimy chickpea/cucumber salad. No I do not have covid taste damage. I believe the food quality has been declining for a while, even about a year and a half ago I had noticed the Buddha bowl was extremely bland. With the renovations to the dining area this reads like upper management let quality slip while focusing on having a trendy space. read more

Super cute spot here in the WOO! I'm not living in Worcester now but I believe it's one of the main spots for smoothies and healthy foods?! I got the Muscle Machine supercharged smoothie which contained cacao nibs, flaxseed whey protein, Pb, milk and banana. It was really good and super filling. It definitely tasted healthy if yah know what I mean, but with that still quite yummy. I believe I paid around $6 for it, which I feel like is typical for a smoothie or that type. They have a lot more than just smoothies though, they had açaí bowls, juices, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, paninis, salads and "super grains." And of course what goes better with those than your hipster selection of craft wines, beer and cocktails. If I had more time would've been a great spot to write on the food blog (whatthesoup.com) OR do a little reading. Next time I'm in Worcester and on that health kick I'll def be back! read more

It was so delicious and exactly what I wanted. It was refreshing and cold. I also loved all the toppings that were on top. They had granola, coco nibs, strawberries, and toasted coconut. The place was hopping with a "painting class" crowd, some singles with computers in front of them, and then some regular folks, like us. I wish we came a little later as I noted they were going to have music. You order at the front counter, grab a number, pick out a booth or wooden table, and they bring the food out to you. The place is in an old mill building, so the decor is brick, wood, and high ceilings that have some pretty large skylights. I was digging it. The food came out pretty quickly with a very friendly waiter. We ordered a couple of Chickpea and Parmesan Bowls, a Southwest Salad, and a Miso Curry. The serving sizes were good. We all agreed that the 3 bowls could have used more dressing. The Southwest Salad was a little basic. It could have used a little salsa or olives. It was just okay with side tortilla strips that you can find at any grocery store. The chocolate chip cookies were loaded with chips. The decaf coffee was good. Like many places like this, you clean your own table. No worries. They have long pasta noodles as an alternative to straws. Never saw this before...okay, cool credit.
