Straw doesnt go with the lid had to take lid off
    Cindy L.

The last two times (the only 2 times) I ordered delivery of boba tea, which is delicious, but both times haven't received a straw or a cap you can poke a boba straw into. Nope, just a soda lid like you'd get from McDonald's. Tried to call and see if that's normal and what I can do to get a straw in the future. Got a non setup voicemail box; it was very weird. So, would I recommend them? So far, no. Will I try again? Maybe.

I happened to be in the area and realized I've never tried Holy Poke! I'm glad I took the time to walk there to see what the hype was about. Holy Poke didn't fully wow me, it was just average with what I expect among other poke spots I've been to in Massachusetts. Generally speaking, the service is incredible - super fast, really nice people behind the counter, and easy ordering systems. But as I alluded to... The food is just okay. The sushi rice has good flavor and the portion for toppings is fairly generous. In comparison to poke shops that have "wowed" me, the portion size for the meat/fish are a little bit on the smaller side. I did have to do a little fishing for where my fish was (pun sorta intended), but when I found it it tasted fresh enough. Price wise ($16ish), it's actually on the cheaper end than some poke places in the area! This bowl pretty much filled me up entirely, so for the price I can't really complain. This is comparable to $19-20 at other places that I've paid for the exact same order. All things considered, this is a place is worth coming back to. It may be worth it to pay for an extra scoop of meat. Looking forward to coming back to try their katsu, which I've heard great things about.

I've been to many poke places and this one is bar far the best. I was a little apprehensive when I was driving there as the neighborhood is really rough and sort of scary, but this place is very clean, offers high quality fish and food and does a great job of providing delicious poke options at a great price! I loved the taro tea and the poke bowl. The only thing I would say that was negative is they don't give enough raw fish in the two (2) scoops it comes with (they're tiny), so I was forced to pay for an extra scoop of raw fish to make it plentiful. Also, avocado shouldn't be an extra $1-$1.50 charge as it's supposed to be a core component of a poke bowl. Holy Poke should consider that it's competitors all offer a larger quantity of raw fish and avocado for free, which gives other a leg up on them. That said, the customer service was great, the place was very clean and nice looking and everything was fresh and incredibly delicious!!!

The service here was great, the staff were kind and attentive when I was trying to decide what to order. There is a huge rush around 4-5 after students get out of sports practice so the place did get a little packed with people waiting to order. Create Your Own Poke: I love the idea of this but the price makes it only worth it if you get seafood. I was surprised the meats aren't priced separately because I don't see how chicken or tofu is worth the same price as seafood. They have the average topping options for poke but as you can see sometimes you get a lot of topping and sometimes you don't. One of the bowls we got had almost no sauce and little toppings and the other was loaded. Crispy Chicken Sandwich: The bread used for this is just plain white bread which was really flat on my sandwich. The chicken was kind of dry and also pretty thin. The sandwich was mostly made of the purple cabbage which gave most of the height. They also use a mayo as the sauce which does give a nice flavor along with the cabbage, I just don't think this is worth the price. The meal comes with fries that have salt and pepper on them but mine were super salty. Tsunami Fries: These had a lot of toppings and sauce, great for people who love a slight umami flavor to your fries. The actual fries were dry and kind of hard, they didn't have any potato filling it was just a hard over cooked/old fry. The portion size was pretty big overall and if the fries weren't so hard and fry I think it would be worth the price. Refreshing Limeade with Mango Popping Boba: This had a really nice lime flavor and was actually really refreshing. I think it pairs nicely with any of the popping boba. Green Tea Smoothie with Jelly: This smoothie tasted slightly powdery/chalky but there was a lot of jelly.

Yummy, did takeout for a quick picnic. The tsunami fries satisfied my french fries craving. The chicken katsu has improved over time (I had it before toward their opening weeks). Forgive the potato quality pic due to the sun setting lol

Loving the variety! I think it's awesome that they serve more than just poke here and that alone sets them apart from the other poke shops in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love poke but it's also nice to have the option to get something else when you don't want poke and/or want to change it up. One of the food items I really enjoy is the Chicken Katsu which I'd highly recommend. The portion is good and fills you up quickly. Other food items include spam musubi, street corn, wonton nachos and more which are great starters/appetizers. They also serve a selection of drinks as well- fruited iced teas, milk teas and smoothies. I like the fruited teas the most, as all the ones I've tried have been tasty. No issues with the customer service which has been satisfactory every time. The staff are always very friendly and professional making our overall experience great. Already been back multiple times since and will continue to so many more times!

The Good: Big portions for what you pay for Variety in foods - not only poke but non poke items also; my personal favorite the Katsu, crispy, moist and melts in your mouth; they also have bubble teas and iced teas! I love their ice teas! Super huge fan Their poke is custom bowls of either white rice or salad as base or half and half, a variety of toppings and sauces. Super fresh! They do takes cards and I touch pay too The Bad: They forgot a few of our orders however they did just open and for the volumes of orders they received in a short amount of time was okay Avocado smoothie tasted disappointedly like powder based and not fresh - just personal preference.

    David S.

I enjoyed a very delicious poke bowl and washed it down with the passion fruit tea. A scoop of tuna and a scoop of spicy salmon on top of white rice with all the fixings added to it. I love how you customize your bowl, and the service is excellent. The friendly girl helping me was so happy to help me. I appreciate the service. It's a small facility, but it doesn't need to be any bigger. Maybe they could set up some outdoor seating for the summer. I finished my bowl quicker than I thought I would. Is it that good, or was it a little smaller than I expected? Can't say for sure. Come check it out! Cheers.

    Thai Tea with Boba, delicious!

This is the best poke restaurant in Central Mass. The seafood is fresh and the portions are great. I like that they also offer items from the kitchen such as Hawaiian Chicken Katsu (must try) and fun snacks like the Spam Masubi. The boba tea is made with real fruit, not too many places can say that nowadays as they switch to powders to increase their profits, not Holy Poke. The staff are friendly and you can tell the owners really care about their customers. If you are in the Worcester area and need a fun place to stop by with friends or just need a quick bite, this is the place to go.

Rice and salad topped with chicken and lots of deliciousness!

Had a delicious lunch here with my daughter! The service was phenomenal and the options that were recommended were very good. I certainly will be visiting again soon and this time I'll try a spicier sauce! Thank you!

Hawaiian chicken. Street corn, miso soup, avocado smoothie poke bowl 1/2 rice 1/2 salad with ahi tuna and spicy salmon.
    Charles J.

Wonderful fresh food saving the 5th star when they add brown rice to the menu. Tried the poke 1/2 Tuna 1/2 spicy salmon bowl it was fabulous. Also the Hawaiian chicken was crunchy and tender. If you've never had poke you are missing out it's big in Hawaii and California and is trending this way.

I get the iced teas with poppers! Quick service, could be better, not the best for bubble tea, but fairly good. Quick service.
    Rachel L.

I get the iced tea with poppers. Not great boba, average, but quick and friendly service, good to stop by for a quick to go bite.

Chicken & tofu poke bowl with tons of toppings!
    Errin J.

Delicious! My boyfriend & I stopped for dinner around 6:30 one night, and had no problem getting right to the front of the line to order. The server was extremely friendly and conversational, I wish I had gotten her name. The proteins were FRESH and tasty - I got tofu and grilled chicken, and my boyfriend got spicy salmon and tuna. There were many topping options to choose from, which I have found other poke places lacking, so this was nice to see. There were also many sauces to choose from besides your typical spicy mayo and eel sauce, although both of those were tasty! It is 11.99 per bowl before tax and any additions (avocado +$1, more than 3 sauces +.50¢) which is pretty standard for a poke establishment. Do not be fooled by the small location or deterred from the street parking! All in all, it was a great dinner, and we will return!

I stopped by to get a couple of coffees to go, and a pastry. The staff was very patient and pleasant to chat with - something I really miss with the larger coffee chains. The coffees were made exactly as I requested, and the pastry was warmed up and wrapped in a foil to maintain the heat. I really love the attention to detail. I'll note that I noticed they use Monin brand syrups (my favorite!). They are not the cheapest option, so it goes to show that the folks at Acoustic Java care about quality over maximizing profit. The location is great - a bit hidden, but the industrial vibe just fits for a small roasting company. I love that the roastery is visible through the glass panels. The packaged beans are all laid out for you to easily read the labels and shop. I love that they carry quality tea for non-coffee drinkers/tea lovers. The merch is also cute, I was very tempted to add yet another coffee shop tote bag to my hoard. They carry a huge variety of used and new books - and they offer the most unique pricing I've ever seen. You can look up the cost of the book online - so long as the condition is roughly the same, that's how much they will charge you for the book (+ tax)! That's amazing, and I don't know how they can possibly even make money with this policy, but with the giant chain and online retailers, it's really the best incentive to get folks to support local. I think one of the biggest highlights here, on top of the great coffee, ambiance, and service, is that they offer various tastings, classes, and live music events. Personally, I feel like this is key in building a community, and I love that they do this. You can look up the different events on their website, some of which are free to attend. I can definitely see this as a place to come read a book over some tea, catch up with a friend over coffee, or take a date to a barista class for a unique experience.

They're hidden in the back of Rotmans (old furniture store) and you'll never see it from the main road. Lately I have made a purchase for teas and my wife didn't like the selections I've chose so they were welcoming and honored an exchange. I just had to pay the difference which I was glad to. We had good company with us and so there's also ample seating in the next room--you can enter from the front of the building as you enter through the main entrance or go through the back. Cheers
