Recently stopped in again for sushi since they had a promotion that they sent through text that if you spend over $30 than you also get free crab Rangoons. We placed an order online and the order took about a half hour for about 5 rolls. Wish it was a bit faster but the restaurant seemed pretty busy. We spent close to $50 on that last order and the crab Rangoons were unfortunately missing when we came home. Bit disappointed on that. Main reason for dropping of stars was I felt the quality of the sushi wasn't as good as our last visit. Both rolls just didn't have a ton of flavor. It didn't taste as fresh as our last visit. Flavor wasn't terrible but it was just... okay. Not sure what happened--maybe it was an off day or the quality suffered a bit. But hopefully they can improve the sushi rolls. Also from my last review they had a promotion of a discount online but my discount wasn't honored online--no big deal. But after a text promotion my crab Rangoons weren't honored either? Thumbs down. My boyfriend and I were craving some sushi so we decided to get some from Kisoro. Their rolls were pretty good! They arrived warm and tasted fresh. Our favorite roll was the dynamite roll, the mix of cream cheese and crab meat was delicious. I would recommend Kisoro for takeout for sure. I have driven through their premises and it is a small place with no parking lot so I would definitely prefer takeout. They do amazing at making sure your food arrives as if you were at the restaurant for sure. read more

You may walk out happy because of how heavy your takeout feels, it's probably 90% rice. Spicy tuna roll was not bad. But the shrimp teriyaki was pretty disappointing. Finally! It's about time we had a place that had Japanese chicken teriyaki where it's made to order in front of you. I've been waiting for this place to open since I noticed the sign over a year ago. No more just having it only when at Solomon Pond. Yay. Haha. So along with the Chicken Teriyaki, we also got the Spicy Tuna Sushi Burrito, a Black Dragon Roll and Miso soup. The chicken teriyaki tasted just as good and did not disappoint. The portions are generous, with the chicken pieces being moist and cooked just right but I wish there was more veggies. What I enjoyed most was the sushi burrito which was mM tasty! The pickled yellow radish just added the perfect crunch to the combination. The sushi roll was okay, not bad but not the best and the miso soup was our least favorite, it was a bit bland and needed more flavor. I understand they just opened last week and will have to give these items another try. Service was great, everyone behind the counter was super friendly. The interior is nice and clean with about 5 tables which is a decent size for an express/takeout joint. Overall, it's a great spot for a quick, cheap and satisfying meal. This place was really good. I was kind of confused as to what kind of Asian feel they were going for. My chicken and beef teriyaki dish was almost like a hibachi style which to me is Japanese but it came with duck sauce which to me is more Chinese. It was all very good either way. And, I got a side of their spicy Mayo which I wish I got 2 sides of it because 1 wasn't enough for me. Also, my only complaint was how greasy the food was. I normally don't find Asian dishes greasy and this was very. But it was very good and I would definitely get food from them again. read more

Well, if you're looking for mall food court Japanese you found it. The chicken teriyaki is exactly what you'd expect. The meal is heavy in the rice, light on the veg (well mostly cabbage and not a lot of it, and adequate enough on the chicken. Chicken dumplings are priced right for almost-definitely having been purchased at a big box store, frozen, but they were crispy and well-made with good flavor $3.50 for 6. It would have been nice if they'd come with some kind of sauce tho... Got the volcano roll... which definitely tasted a little off but sufficed....not that I'd order it again (I won't) also again no soy sauce? Also there was nothing separating the hot containers from the sushi ... seems like a huge no no to me. I decided to try this place for dinner after driving by so many times before. I called in an order and it was being prepared when I arrived 15 minutes later. I enjoyed how one can see the food being prepared behind the glass. I ordered the shrimp + chicken teriyaki with noodles with extra sauce and the spring rolls. Overall, the food was fine and was priced well, but truly lacked flavor. The spring rolls didn't taste like anything at all. The teriyaki portion was just right, with a reasonable amount of chicken/shrimp/noodles but I was disappointed because even with the extra sauce, it was soooooo bland. I wish there was better seasoning--it needed something that just wasn't there. I might return again for a quick and hot meal, but definitely not in a hurry. read more

The food and prices are quite good. Very reasonable. But the only catch is you have to accept how they make the food without changes/alterations. Only one person in the establishment speaks any English, which makes questions/additions, etc., a little difficult. Also, one of the main cooks has a large tattoo on his arm that says "FUCK YOU". Great option to have in Worcester, especially if you want sushi burritos or the Japanese meals they tend to have at the malls. The wait took a little bit, but the food tasted great. Price is OK. My only recommendation would be that the sushi burritos be more make-your-own, and allow customers to customize their burritos like they do at chipotle or other sushi burrito places out in the Boston area. read more

To be frank, Kisoro did not meet expectations. They are a teriyaki/sushi express, same as you would find in a typical mall food court, however the quality just isn't comparable as say a Sarku Japan. I ordered their pan fried dumplings, an unagi roll, and a beef+shrimp teriyaki plate and a soda all for a very good price of $20-25. However, there isn't much to say about them at all because they were very basic and bland. The teriyaki needed a boost of flavor badly, it just didn't have enough seasoning.. same with the boring dumplings and unagi roll. I expect cheap eateries such as these to be of mediocre quality but they better be tasty! Unfortunately, Kisoro probably won't be on my list of express Asian food indulgences when I'm in the mood for that but I'd be willing to give them another chance another day.. read more

Definitely good hibachi-style fast food. Portions are big if you get the full meal combo and it comes out in minutes. It's a very small place to going with a couple people at most or just carrying out is the way to go. Service is curt and friendly so feel free to ask a question or two.
