    Goodies!

We are in town for a concert and ordered through DoorDash. The food was made quickly and at our door within 25 minutes to 30 minutes. Can't say enough about how fresh this food is. Really really delicious and well-made. I really love the jalapeños in the sushi are well filled with lots of delicious goodies.

Average. I've definitely had better hibachi. It was delivered to me but I don't think that's what the issue was. There's a glaze on the meat that is a bit too sweet. Could be better quality steak too. For the price though, it was worth it. And, I had leftovers.

Delicious food. The place is smaller than I thought but the food is amazing and the staff are friendly. They're also allergy friendly which is a plus for me since I have a lot of allergies. Great prices too for the amount of food that you get and a lot of options. Even though it's small I do like the inside. They have some booths and some tables. I highly recommend it!

I've gotten take out here several times for hibachi and for what they offer, it's a good amount of food for $12. The food is very saucy and flavorful with tender meat and vegetables. Their sushi is also pretty good but I don't reach for it too often. The place inside is clean and the service is really fast as I usually order online and by the time I get there, it's already ready and packed.

I love this place but this last order was disappointing. Delivery: Not their fault but DoorDash left it on the outside stairs of the building next door when I clearly wrote to leave it in the lobby--inside--of the adjacent building. Crab Rangoon: good flavor bit super soggy. They were hot and crispy on previous occasions Hibachi w/chicken and steak: order noodles and received white rice. Both the chicken and steak tasted "old" and the steak was definitely overcooked Diet Pepsi: for almost $3 they give you a 16.9 FL oz bottle instead of the standard 20oz bottle so be aware.

Listen y'all! If it's not Soho Hibachi, I don't want it! I've had this same meal two weekends in a row! It's easily one of the best takeout options! Orange chicken has always had me in a chokehold and the lack of a Panda Express in town led me to this restaurant. It's the closest meal tod satisfying the craving and the portion sizes are unbelievably good! Don't let me start with the flavor! Yes it's takeout but it's always delivered perfectly! So service 10/10!

May not be the most amazing place in town but it is worth a try! Nice staff, clean environment, food has big portions and tasteful. More for takeout. You can eat in since they have a quite big space and tables for seating. Good place for a quick bite on a busy day!

Hibachi Steak (no veggies extra rice & extra steak)

i was pleasantly surprised with this place! ordering for delivery was a little confusing but we figured it out. there was good flavor to the everything, especially the steak. i wish there were some veggies cooked into the lo mein like at most other places. overall a great option if you're looking for budget-friendly hibachi

We got a yellowtail appetizer to start. The slices were thicker than I'm used to for a crudo. I felt something was missing. The sushi and the oyster shooter however were really good! Got two of my favorite rolls - Godzilla and Celtic roll. Along with a couple basic rolls. The Godzilla has a slight sweetness from the banana but it does not take away from the savory flavor profiles. The Celtic roll is a great balance of crunch and smoothness from the avocado. By far- the oyster shooter is my favorite menu item. I got two. Could have had 8 more! I love baba! Hope they continue to stay in business and keep the quality and service consistent as it has always been!

Sashimi deluxe with rainbow maki- quality of the sashimi was excellent! Thick cut and freshness in color and taste. Rainbow maki was great too! Spicy hamachi and tiger eye maki were soooo good! Salmon roe nigiri are so good! The only complaint is the spider maki. The soft shell crab tempura was stale and tasted awful! The special maki from the season special was excellent! Good balance of the texture and well balanced taste! Excellent presentation and great balanced of rice flavor!!!

Favorite appetizer: deep fried baby octopus! (There's literally a whole baby octopus in there. Super worth it, trust me! I've tried the fire roll and while it's good, it's a bit too dense for me, I'm unable to taste any other ingredients other than rice and the fried portion. I also had the deep fried crab appetizer and it was pretty good, but I wouldn't get it again. Nothing negative to say about service, great as always!

Once they announce it, you need to call immediately or get shut out. My observation about the place itself. The U shaped bar is gigantic for the space. It's a bar-bar too not like a sushi counter. This seems to draw a crowd of local drinkers rather than the normal sushi crowd. You feel like you walked into a sports bar. The place was really loud and it was hard to hear the chef explaining everything. Once seated... it's the chefs carving the tuna off to the side. There were 2 bar tenders making drinks and like 3 chefs cutting tuna.... other than that, no waitstaff. Which is really odd. You have to grab the manager who was running around helping to get your Wasabi refilled. Not to mention they gave zero place settings for about 8 of us, until we asked. The bar tenders seemed to pass over my empty drink until I asked for a refill too. It's a more chaotic event than I would have liked for $120 per person. It also takes time to carve the tuna so if you arrive hungry be prepared to not get your first tiny bite until 45 minutes after the start. The star was Chef Timmy. Honestly he was awesome. The tuna.... so good. You end to with only 3 pieces of Nigiri which was a little disappointing but the sashimi part was unlimited. Of course you have to take your plate up and ask for some. They only put about 6 small pieces of the various cuts per trip. I think I went up 5 times for sashimi alone. The tuna handrolls you can make yourself or ask the chef nicely. Those were really good. Probably best I ever had because it's so fresh. There is a limited amount of the highly prized (and highly priced) Kamatoro, but you can experience it here as it's included in the experience. That's a hard cut to find. The finale was a shot of tuna spinal fluid. My first time with that but it's not bad. You're probably looking at $150 per person unless you order alcohol than it's alot more. The fresh cut tuna is amazing. I'm glad I did it. The chaos and the setting made it less than ideal. I don't think I would go again to this location for it. One and done. It's a bit weird that you're paying $120 for this and you're still intermingled with local patrons just there to grab some beers after work and watch the game. Because of the massive bar it is impossible to create a space secluded to do it. They also should have a roaming waiter at least taking care of the 30 people who came for this experience.
