They were extremely friendly and helpful we ordered almost 300 of the mini snacks which they were able to give to us before they opened for a baby shower. OK, I don't know what came over us, but we finally took the plunge and ordered from Salgabom snacks. It's a magical place with an atypical menu that combines fried cheese empanadas with smoothies and açaí bowls. It checked most of the boxes of my desires. Yes, you read that correctly, they have fried empanadas. They have vegetarian options of cheese and pizza, stuff with meat that didn't register with me, and banana caramel if you're in a sweet mood. We ordered the cheese but I will will admit that I was interested in the pizza one. I was really craving something fruity and refreshing so I ordered an açaí bowl with açaí sorbet covered in granola, banana slices, and honey. They come in small, normal, and super big. Tina ordered a dragonfruit which is the same exact thing as the standard one but with dragonfruit sorbet in addition. So gooooooodddddd. UPDATE: I found out just now, prior to my second order, you can choose TOPPINGS. They have a bunch of fruit options (cherries, strawberries, kiwi, GRAPES), chocolate, pb, choco chips!!!!!, chocolate "ball", chocolate SAUCE, m&ms, etc. One of the most popular items is something called mini snacks. I had no idea what that could possibly be but I'm intrigued by anything that's particularly popular on the menu. It comes in increments of 15, 25, 50, 100. This Even more mysterious now. What on Earth? What would someone want to buy 50 or even 100 of? We ordered 25 of them. The food came very quickly. The empanada was massive. Like it was double the size of my head. I got my hands on that sucker and I pulled it apart, revealing a nice string of cheese between the two sides. The açaí bowl was GREAT. The mini snacks. First impressions reveal churros in munchkin form. It's crisp on the inside and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. I bit into it. A warm filling was propelled into my mouth. Caramel. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. holy shit. There are no more words. Now I understand who orders the 100 and it's me. I am at so glad for the existence of this place read more

I had only been to Brazilian steakhouses before so I didn't really know what to expect. I had ventured into the area with my boyfriend for a yelp event at an escape room so we decided to grab food before heading home. There were so many options to choose from and was debating between here and an African restaurant with 5 stars but decided on here. It was interesting, everything was very fried and kind of greasy but tasted pretty good. The the cheese balls were probably my favorite, I found the turn overs to not have enough filling just a lot of fried dough. The burger had fried potato sticks and corn which u never seen before but it was good. Kind of big. The price is good but not cheap cheap. I do have to say the service was good. Went here with my friend and it was our first time trying out the menu here. We ordered the churros, empanadas, sugarcane juice, and other stuff. My friend really enjoyed her churros. So after looking at all of the reviews about this place I decided to check it out. The customer service was great. Looks like this is family run by an older couple. The lady was very friendly and sweet. I ordered the everything burger meal with a passion fruit drink. This place is definitely a snacks place... very high in calories. The burger has a lot on it, decided I'd check it out. It was flavorless no salt pepper or anything. I had to go home and add some sauce to make it taste decent. The fries were nice, crispy on the outside. The passion fruit juice was interesting. Didn't taste like passion fruit juice. Also the churros also lacked flavor. They were freshly made so they were very hot when I ate one. Decided to let them cool more thinking I'd taste something. Didn't taste anything but the condensed milk (caramel) inside, not even the cinnamon sugar on the outside. The food had an interesting taste to it, like something was it in that shouldn't be. ‍ idk. Usually we just get their excellent mini snacks (you can't go wrong with churros filled with dulce de leche), but last night we decided to try their more substantial offerings. I got an empanada with hearts of palm and cheese, and my husband got the Brazilian Sausage dish. Generous portions (the empanada was the size of my face), and so tasty! I came here a couple of years ago and had a tilapia meal with a friend. I wasn't impressed, but I thought maybe snacks are their specialty and not full meal items. On a whim, we ordered a couple of churros today, and they were awesome! These were the best churros I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Soft yet slightly crispy, decadent filling, sweet with a bit of savory taste, and the cinnamon brought everything together. If I knew how good the snacks here were, I would have come more often. the guy "running" this location is just rude and inconsiderate, the acai cup should not be served the way it is, filled to the absolute top only being held together by the lid. so good luck eating it without all your toppings spilling onto the ground... I came to this place because i heard they have mini churros!!! I got a box of 100 for about $20. Bite sized churros filled with dulce de leche(slowly heated condensed milk, very similar to caramel), fried to perfection and then tossed in cinnamon and sugar. Slightly crisp exterior with a soft/sweet surprise in the center. The box was absolutely worth every penny, highly recommend. Haven't come back to try anything else on the authentic Brazilian menu. If you're craving delicious Brazilian fare, look no further than Salgabom Snacks! There are so many choices that I decide to order a variety of snacks to quench mine. Mini fried cheese empanadas, mini fried ground beef empanadas, mini kibbeh, and mini chicken croquettes. They were all even more delicious than expected! The only thing I'd change about my order would be the decision to order chocolate mousse on such a hot day. Sadly, it liquified during its trip across town, but do not fear as it will not go to waste! It's currently chilling in the fridge until it sets again. The addition of a small bag of free popcorn will be perfect when combined with the chocolate mousse. Who doesn't love the combo of savory and sweet? Absolutely love this place! They have the best, freshest, most authentic açaí bowl around. I totally recommend ordering a bowl to share with a friend or even for yourself for a real Brazilian treat. They have tons of other Brazilian grab and go food such as cheese bread and croquettes. They also do burgers, brazilian style of course, and an assortment of fruit juices like acerola or cashew fruit, crepes, sweet treats like brigadeiro. It's all I can ask for in a small shop like this although there are times when my cheesebread or coxinha has been sitting out for a while but that's on me, I should know to come at an earlier time when everything is the freshest! Everyone has been nice and welcoming even though a place like this caters to mostly the Brazilian community. There was this one time, a lady at the cash register didn't give me my $5 in change back, and I just assume she didn't really understand how to handle cash because she's possibly new, didn't speak English, and handles cards most of the time. A little taken back by this but I can forgive it since I usually tip anyway, but $5 can actually get you a lot in this shop!! Terrible service. Same branding, same everything as the other salgabom in worcester, but doesn't have smash burgers. My girlfriend ordered online and thought the website simply only had smash burgers since there was no mention of it despite it being one of their schticks, and explicitly said in the note that it should be a smash burger and not include cheese. Salgabom gave her a regular burger not a smash burger WITH CHEESE and didn't think to tell her. They didn't think to call while the order was being prepped, they didn't think to email the included email in the online order, they just gave her the e food and hurried her out. When we returned home to find that it is NOT what we asked for, we called and the manager didn't even speak english... no offense to people to can't speak english, but in a CUSTOMER FACING JOB he spoke such little english that he couldn't speak to us and had to communicate through an aide/random employee. The manager told us that the item "wasn't on the menu" and thus we wouldn't be receiving a refund and HUNG UP ON US!! 0/10, Salgabom will never be getting our patronage again, this has been the worst experience I've ever had with a restaurant and I've had waiters insult me to my face. read more

I was coming in from out of town and had an intense craving for brigadeiros. Not knowing a single thing about the area, I pulled out my phone and searched the closest Brazilian bakery and up pops Salgabom. The reviews mentioned the churros and it intrigued me so I stoped by. I was greeted by friendly staff but was too busy being googly eyed at the desserts. I got a few brigadeiros and the other milk ball but I couldn't just leave without trying the churros. I got a cup of 15 and was on my way. The churros were freshly fried and warm but not piping hot - filled with condensed milk in the center that instantly melts as you bite into the center. I had an hour ride back home and I ate it all in ten minutes lol. As for the brigadeiros - they were okay but churros are the true star of the show.
