Life is short - F....it up! Family, Flavor, Friends Didn't want to go into town so decided to try something new. First walking in - you know you're in a good place when you see a kid sitting at the table doing his homework. We got the chicken wings, bibimbap, and the Black Garlic Ramen, veggie Ramen. Each dish was cooked just right. The real star is the ramen- the Blk Garlic ramen was very savory and creamy. The flavor of the soup was Hmmmmm.. Probably top 5 and I've been to the places in NyC and Boston. The Veggie ramen was the best that I've tasted. This place is a definite visit. If you're a ramen buff make the trip you won't be disappointed. The only difference is no fancy decor just great food. read more

I ordered it on Uber Eats. One of the sauce had spilled and got it all over the drinks and the food container. I got the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice. Chicken, steak and vegetable was all covered and sitting in lots of sauce. It was cooked well but just so much sauce. read more

Choose And Mix - Chicken and CHICKEN & STEAK HIBACHI add egg - Korean Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

Great food and fast. Flavor was right! Quantity was perfect. We will come again for more.

Amazing food. I haven't had delicious bibimbap in forever, but this restaurant knocked it out of the park. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I knew what I wanted going in, but she asked me anyway if it was my first time and if I wanted her to go over the menu. She also mentioned that although the ramen is made with pork broth, it can be substituted for vegan broth. She also brought out complimentary orange slices for everyone in the restaurant. The ambience is very casual. The place is clean, but small. Don't expect anything fancy, but it's almost a direct correlation that the less gaudy a restaurant is, the better the food quality. Would recommend! read more

Choose And Mix - Spicy chicken bulgogi bibimbap with fried egg and yummy sauce - Korean Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

The place had a cozy atmosphere that made it comfortable to dine in but the wait time for our food was a little longer than expected during dinner hours, but the staff stayed friendly and accommodating the whole time. read more

Very very good food. Their udon noodle soup is the best I have ever had. It's dense with noodles, chicken and vegetables. Most take out places give you a container of 60-70% broth then the rest is vegs and noodles. This is packed with wheat noodles and good stuff. There Korean fried is as good as Bon Chon. read more

You walk in to a small seating area and greeted by a bright smile and large hello. The menu is great and lunch specials come with a miso soup and a can of soda. The miso soup was hot and tasty. I ordered the lunch chicken bibimbap with an egg in the hot pot. It came out steaming which meant it was freshly hot and the soy lemon sauce that I added definitely gave it a great taste. A little more sauce would be appreciated cause it ate a little dry but again that is probably just my preference. A little hint - eat it slow because it is extremely hot. Overall what a tasty lunch and a good little hidden gem to come to if you are in the area. I will def be back to try another one of the authentic dishes. Yummy!! read more

I chose, I mixed. Ok i didnt get bibimbap so i didnt mix... but i chose wisely when I came to Choose & Mix Korean Food and Hibachi express. The spicy chicken bulgogi is very good. Its more like a dry spice rather than saucy fyi. The steamed dumplings are delicious. Staff is amazing. Vibe is fast casual. Recommended. I found that the prices were rather high for the quality of food that I got and the quantity. I got the teriyaki chicken with the brown rice. There was no vegetables in it. The vegetable spring rolls are good and I also got the karaage chicken. This would've been $40 or something like that read more

One of my favorite places. Very well executed bibimbap and other favorites. Love the customizable menu. Great at answering questions. It's a small place. Great if you are on your own or a small group. Service is always charming and attentive without hovering. The hibachi offerings are great, As are the dumplings and edamame. For the four of us, we got out of there for maybe $100 with tip and feeling full and happy. Amazing as always, Regina. read more

Our go to when we need an excellent take out meal. Such friendly staff ! Casual spot to eat in as well.

So good! Hot food, helpful staff, clean restaurant - what a great spot to get such good food!

Stopped by Choose and Mix Habachi Express for lunch on a whim and was very impressed and super filling. Great building our own bowl option. I went with the spicy chicken with all veggies Korean hot sauce/teriyaki dipping sauce and a fried egg. Ambience is casual and has a chill vibe. Kpop playing in the background. Meal also comes with miso soup appetizer - great flavor and comes fresh and hot! Customer service is superb- food arrived to table 10-15 minutes, friendly greeting and server was very friendly and approachable. I commended how good the miso soup was and how their stone bowl gets very hot so everything was very crispy. Overall, it was a great lunch meal. Would recommend 10/10- for all three categories. read more

Even though I like to consider myself a cultured bitch I, somehow, have never had bibimbap...until now. We were looking for a place to order our "lunch" for work and wanted to switch things up a bit. I'm not sure how long this place has been here but I don't remember seeing it many times before. Regardless, I was completely on board with having my bibimbap cherry popped. I ordered a "build your own" and I appreciate the freedom with these build your own options. I expressed the shit out of my individuality with my selections: sweet potato noodles, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, red pepper, zucchini, tofu, with teriyaki sauce and gouchujang. GF ordered a base of brown rice, chose the "all vegetables" option, tofu, and sriracha mayo with a miso soup. I threw in an order of their harumaki (vegan spring rolls) for us to enjoy after returning home from work. I was STARVING when I got to eat this and even considering (hunger is the best spice, na'mean?) I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I was expecting to. I concur with another review on here that the vegetables provided were scarce, there definitely could have been more. I ate this just a few days ago and even reviewing my order I forgot half of the vegetables were even there because their presence was so negligible. More importantly though, the flavor just wasn't there. I will say that everything seemed to be incredibly fresh. GF, however, reported to me that she really enjoyed hers BUT she didn't think they included the sauce she had selected. Come to think of it, I didn't detect much teriyaki flavor in mine so that might have been an oversight by the restaurant. We had the spring rolls the following day and were too lazy to warm them up so they were soggy af but still enjoyable actually. I would order these again and recommend them. I would be willing to give this place another shot because they afford you the rare opportunity to eat a relatively nutritious meal when ordering in but it certainly did not impress me. read more

I've been here twice and got the exact same thing both times, their BIBIMBAP (Build Your Own Bowl). They do have indoor seating that I ate at and saw a family order their hibachi and it looked and smelt amazing. I definitely want to try that next time. They do have a small parking lot. You can order online, which is super easy. read more

Choose And Mix - Bibimbap (Build Your Own Bowl): white rice, all vegetables, tofu, sriracha mayo, & a fried egg - Korean Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

Absolutely no way this place is 4.5 stars. We ordered galbi, beef bulgogi, Kimchi and dumplings. The galbi was flavorless, the beef bulgogi was GROUND BEEF, the kimchi was NOT kimchi and the dumplings were seemingly microwaved. For a place that was $100, well, it was a total disappointment. First off, I think they need to take Korean out of their name because this was the furthest thing from Korean food. If they keep the name, they need to look up how Korean food is actually prepared and made. When you charge the kind of prices that they do, you can definitively use ribeye for the bulgogi and ferment the cabbage for the kimchi! DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Decided to give this place a try because we're limited on options being vegan. I will say I was excited to see I could get Bibimbap vegan. It was a little underwhelming when I picked it up. Not very flavorful and they use frozen veggies. I'm giving them three stars because it was open and they had something vegan when I was starving. I think if they seasoned the tofu and fried it better and added even a few fresh veggies it would taste so much better and be worth the 16.00 I paid for the bowl. Idk if I'll go back but at least there's a vegan option. read more

Service was good but fried rice wasn't really seasoned or flavor. Went here thinking it would be cheap since apple maps has 1 $ but that was a lie. The food was overpriced compared to its actual flavor. Best thing was the chicken katsu because they added sauces. Was disappointed to see bimbap wasn't actual bimbap. read more

Best noodle place in the entire world. Hits the spot every time. My go-to order is pretty delish. Oh!!! And always get the hot stone bowl. But. Be careful. It's.....hot. Anyways, back to the magic. Almost every time ill grab white rice OR the potato noodles. ALL the veggies, please. And as for my proteins; it's beef and shrimpies! Sesame oil, teriyaki, soy lemon and s+p are gonna do it for my sawwwwwwces. Don't forget to get that fried egg on top of there!! Been here 3-4 times. Always so great and delish. I've never been to Worcester. After a disastrous time trying to find parking during a parade, we gave up on our original lunch plans and tried to find a new place to eat before catching a movie. Choose & Mix Korean was there when we needed them. It was the perfect combo of cheap, delicious, and convenient. We both ordered bibimbap in the hot stone bowl. I love that you can add your toppings freely. We both loved it. The server was also very understanding with us while we struggled to decide on a meal and kept changing our minds. We had a great meal at Choose & Mix and if we're ever in the area, we know where to go. read more

Another place wrecked our lunch when they were inexplicably not open during open hours (such a pet peeve), so we detoured here. It had been on my "want to try" list for a long time. It didn't let us down in any way! We both made our own bimimbap bowls, and it's great to be able to customize them so much. The veggies were all nice and fresh(no canned stuff), the brown rice and sweet potato noodles were good, and the portions were ample. I only ate half of mine and will have the rest tomorrow. I would get two sauces next time as mine was a little one-dimensional. We did think it was a bit costly for what it was(almost $26 for 2 vegetarian bowls), but we enjoyed it. The service was the best part - what a sweet person! She was so kind and pleasant and everything was just as we requested it. read more

We were looking for a casual meal somewhere new, close to home... thank you Yelp for helping us find this place! I drive by every day on my way to work, but have never noticed it or would have thought to stop in. Started with a 5 star expectation & then here's what happened: AC appeared to be broken - deduct one star They lease the space & brought a portable AC unit in, did the best they could with the circumstances - add one star We got surprise miso soup that we didn't realize came with the meal - add one star It took about 15 minutes for our meal to come out, and the place was nearly empty - deduct one star. They put the fried egg on the wrong bibimap - deduct one star I didn't care for the hot stone bowl at all, I couldn't enjoy the food it was so hot & the food was sticking to the bottom / burning like it would in a skillet - deduct one star I appear to be the only one who doesn't like the hot stone bowl - add that star back for the majority Chicken was dry - deduct one star The customer service was fantastic, everyone was friendly - add one star And for those who don't care to do the math, that ends up as a 4 star experience! read more

Food didn't taste good. Ordered the bibimbap and the Korean dumpling soup, they had all the ingredients but no nice flavor. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but regardless , will not be visiting again. read more

It's pretty tasty food. They are using ground beef not sliced for their bib bim bap. The counter service is enthusiastic and cheerful. Is it the 5 star epitome of Korean food, hidden in a quaint location, with traditional ambiance and decor at a great price point? No. It's solid, tasty and filling and the people are friendly. It's a strip mall at a busy intersection next to a liquor store.$20 for a meal is a little high for me. If it's in your budget, go! It's a nice experience. read more

DIY bibimbap. Korean dishes to pick from. Or a selection of Japanese food. What's not to love? Tiny hole in the wall you'd miss if you aren't looking for it. It's in a tiny plaza, but you can smell the food right when you get out of the car, so just follow your nose. The staff was very patient and waited while I decided. (So much to pick from) You order at the counter and pay after you eat. Pics attached of what we ended up with. We were not disappointed. Quality was good and the pork dish was freshly prepared. The place was clean and there was kpop playing. Will be back to try other dishes out. Their fried chicken looked pretty good, as did their Galbi. read more

One of my favorite new places! I love the build your own bowl, everything is fresh and delicious!

Great food, and prepared with care. The spicy chicken could use some spice and my bowl could have used some more veggies, but everything we got was delicious. We were part of a large group order with several dietary restrictions and the staff took care to accommodate and talk through any possible issues. Everybody loved their food! The yum sauce was a big favorite. Store front is a bit of a whole in the wall, but aren't all the best places like that? Staff was lovely, well trained and kind. read more

I was craving bibimbap today, so I decided to take advantage of their lunch special. I ordered a beef bibimbap with the base being rice, veggies and teriyaki sauce. Theres was more rice than anything else in the dish. There was literally two strands of every veggie I asked for and close to flavorless, with there being little bits of beef that looked like dog food. I perhaps this is how they save their ingredients when you order takeout so they can give full portions to folks who dine in. Overall, I paid almost $11 for a warm bowl of rice with scraps thrown on it. I was very disappointed in my experience , very underwhelming and I won't being "seeing them tomorrow" Hopefully another authentic Korean spot will come around. read more

This place is veg-friendly, but the vegetable servings are too low. The problem is that the "protein" part of build your own bowl overshadows the fact that you can have any and all of the vegetables they have to offer, supposedly. I ordered all the vegetables and tofu as a protein under pressure. It came with four huge squares of tofu that were honestly a little too much. I would've rather had no tofu and a literal handful of veggies. Regardless, the rice bowl was great and the dumpling soup was outstanding. I scraped the hot stone bowl clean. The servings (aside from the veggies) are large and the sweet potato noodles were impressively yummy. I love me some miso flavor and the broth took care of that. If you like to munch down on veggies , I suggest making a note about it when you order the bibimbap. I would also suggest picking out your favorites instead of all of them so you don't get a disproportionate amount of a lesser liked vegetable. The picture on their website is misleading. With that being said, they are still very veg-friendly. Both of the ladies at front of house told me and my friend about the vegan options and what not without even being asked. They were very friendly and caring and high spirited! The service here is exemplar. read more

My favorite local Korean restaurant! I absolutely love this place! Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly whenever my boyfriend and I visit. The entire menu is absolutely AMAZING! Our personal favorites are the fried chicken wings, bulgogi, and of course bibimbap. The chicken wings are always so juicy, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. The bulgogi is sweet and savory and the portions are ginormous! It also comes with a lot of rice as a side. The chicken and beef bibimbap in a hot stone bowl is to die for but their take-out version is pretty darn awesome too! Ordering online and picking up your food in-store is always quick and easy. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to be ready. All in all, I've been here countless amounts of time and they're SO delicious every single time. The prices are great considering how much you get. I can't wait to come back for more! See you tomorrow!! read more

Food was excellent. The staff were really helpful and I ordered the traditional hot stone bimibap at their recommendation. Often I will ask the workers at restaurants what is their favorite dish and I created my meal based on their recommendations and it was excellent. The restaurant itself isn't anything fancy but it was clean and air conditioned. I'm not from the area but will definitely stop by when I visit in the future. read more

Immediately loved this place. The friendly folks behind the counter greeted us as soon as we entered and asked us if it was our first time. Since it was, they gave us the run down on how their Bibimbap works: 1. Pick a starch. 2. Pick your veggies. 3. Pick a protein. 4. Pick a sauce. 5. Option to add a fried egg. 6. Option to have it served in a hot stone bowl. They even let us sample the sauces so we could choose the one or two we liked best. They were all delicious, but I went with the Soy Lemon sauce and got some Hot Paste on the side. It was a flavorful combination! Next time I want to try the Sesame Oil sauce, which has a more traditional Asian flavor. I ordered a Bibimbap w/brown rice, all veggies except peppers, chicken, the aforementioned sauces, the fried egg, and the hot stone bowl. It was magnificent! Yes, the stone bowl was hot, and yes the rice got nice and crispy on the bowl, delicious! I've since gone back and tried their boneless chicken and it's amazing! Love this place! read more

This was my second time ordering takeout from here and the star both times has been the Korean fried chicken! Very flavorful, crispy and spicy--just the way I like it. This time I also ordered the shrimp hibachi and I was very disappointed in the flavor and portion sizes; honestly there was no flavor overall and the dish was 80% white rice and a spoonful of veggies. I'd return for the fried chicken, but I wouldn't order the hibachi dinner again. read more
