Sunrise Bowl
Rajandeep D.

I had no idea there was Nautical Bowls in Shrewsbury, so I found out, I had to try it! While the wait time was a bit longer than expected due to a staff shortage, our server was very kind and made the experience pleasant. They have bright and spacious indoor seating, perfect to enjoy the cold treats during this winter season. I ordered the Sunrise Bowl, and my friend had the Paddle Bowl. We're not entirely sure what Blue Majik is, but we both really liked it! It's great to know that all the ingredients and fruits are fresh--I truly appreciated that touch.

It's decent Acai, but I would rather go to playa bowls. There's no Nutella available, and the peanut butter was the most bland peanut butter I've ever eaten. Fast service and good ambiance. Overall meh bowl.

Very fresh ingredients with an wide selection of varieties to choose from. Love the clean, Atlantic vibe, would be great for the summer time, or just to get a sweet treat

Having a private parking lot made it an easy and convenient stop. The drinks were excellent and not overly sweet, just the perfect balance. We ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Mia with calamansi lime, and both were fantastic. I'd happily order the same drinks again before trying anything else on the menu. The Vietnamese coffee uses the traditional Robusta beans, while the Nuoc Mia was super refreshing with just the right amount of calamansi citrus. Pro Tips: - Private parking lot located behind the shop. - Authentic Vietnamese coffee brewed using the traditional slow drip method. - Casual, welcoming atmosphere with a handful of tables, making it a great spot to get some work done.

OK, I don't know what came over us, but we finally took the plunge and ordered from Salgabom…read moresnacks. It's a magical place with an atypical menu that combines fried cheese empanadas with smoothies and açaí bowls. It checked most of the boxes of my desires. Yes, you read that correctly, they have fried empanadas. They have vegetarian options of cheese and pizza, stuff with meat that didn't register with me, and banana caramel if you're in a sweet mood. We ordered the cheese but I will will admit that I was interested in the pizza one. I was really craving something fruity and refreshing so I ordered an açaí bowl with açaí sorbet covered in granola, banana slices, and honey. They come in small, normal, and super big. Tina ordered a dragonfruit which is the same exact thing as the standard one but with dragonfruit sorbet in addition. So gooooooodddddd. UPDATE: I found out just now, prior to my second order, you can choose TOPPINGS. They have a bunch of fruit options (cherries, strawberries, kiwi, GRAPES), chocolate, pb, choco chips!!!!!, chocolate "ball", chocolate SAUCE, m&ms, etc. One of the most popular items is something called mini snacks. I had no idea what that could possibly be but I'm intrigued by anything that's particularly popular on the menu. It comes in increments of 15, 25, 50, 100. This Even more mysterious now. What on Earth? What would someone want to buy 50 or even 100 of? We ordered 25 of them. The food came very quickly. The empanada was massive. Like it was double the size of my head. I got my hands on that sucker and I pulled it apart, revealing a nice string of cheese between the two sides. The açaí bowl was GREAT. The mini snacks. First impressions reveal churros in munchkin form. It's crisp on the inside and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. I bit into it. A warm filling was propelled into my mouth. Caramel. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. holy shit. There are no more words. Now I understand who orders the 100 and it's me. I am at so glad for the existence of this place

They were extremely friendly and helpful we ordered almost 300 of the mini snacks which they were able to give to us before they opened for a baby shower. Food was awesome for the price it's reasonable considering it's made in house mini snacks were very good and flavorful burgers there are awesome huge come with fries and a drink which compared to similar restaurants increases the value a lot. We'll be regulars there now

There's a variety of food -- açaí bowls, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pastries. We had breakfast sandwiches. They were less expensive than the hotel breakfast. The espresso was strong, bitter (which I like) and gave me the jolt I needed for the day. I tasted my wife's matcha latte and it was good, but nothing spectacular. It had an earthy flavor and mildly sweet. I also bought a bag of coffee beans. I brought the bag back home ground it and made a pot of coffee via a chemex. I wasn't impressed with the coffee at all. It might be because I usually drink coffee that has a lot of character to it. It could be sweet, chocolatey, citrus, etc. This coffee just tasted bland and I am pretty good at differentiating the flavors because I normally drink just black. This cafe is very spacious and would be a great place to work from. I would definitely work here remotely if it was closer to home. The staff seemed nice, but I wouldn't say they were particularly friendly or personable. I'd come back from espresso, but that's it! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT
