Baked stuffed haddock with mashed potatoes and toasted carrots
Libbie A.

This is a really cute restaurant. The service is incredibly friendly, it felt like family. The food is really good too. We had chicken kebab and the baked stuffed haddock. Both really superb! They have good wine selection, seasonal sangria and a nice selection of classic cocktails. The patio is really pretty, but was full by the time we arrived. I'm definitely going back to try more of the menu!

Ok, first time at this restaurant, very nice inside, great outdoor screened patio with retractable roof. This is probably a $$ to $$$ restaurant. The wait staff was friendly. Lots of menu choices. The food was great. Ok now the bad. They are not very accommodating on switching sides . We wanted to Caesar salad instead of a garden salad and they would only sell you an entrée Caesar salad. Also, some of the meals you can add a soup we wanted to clam chowder, but they would only allow you to get the soup of the day for the price of the meal they should be slightly more accommodating . Also the bread can out late almost with our meals. The entrance is on the lower level of the plane, the upper level parking lot is a disaster. Overall it was a good experience and I would go again. I would have done 5 stars if the bread , soup and salad issue didn't happen.

Truffle fries with kalamata olive aioli. A fave!

The Cellar quickly became a favorite of mine and my partner. The ambiance is great - the new enclosed patio area is really lovely and feels even warmer (or romantic, if that's what you want!) feel than the main restaurant. The greeters and servers are universally excellent. We have never had a bad experience. The food is delicious - and while I'd say the portions may be too large, we like it because we can easily share a pasta dish or have leftovers. My biggest tip? Get the truffle fries with the Kalamata olive aioli. Out of this world.

Has a lot to offer on the menu; a lot of options for seafood, meat and vegetable dishes. Service is always good. Really nice inside.

The bellies were good but I really didn't like the breading. It lacked flavor. I found myself adding salt and pepper which is strange to even think of adding to seafood. Nevertheless the place is cute and the servers were friendly. Definitely full of locals. I'd come back.

Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.

Don't let the rough looks scare you away. They offer a great selection of food and don't skimp on the portions! We always love coming here for lobster rolls or fried seafood that they have shipped in. Be warned that they are cash only, but they do have an ATM inside. Went last night for the first time in many years. Was so looking forward to the lobster roll. Surprised to see the price was almost double what it used to be and it was the most disappointing terrible lobster roll I think I have ever had. The lobster meat was frozen and it was soggy and completely tasteless. You could not have made a lobster roll any worse and believe me I have had many lobster rolls. The saving grace was the good french fries. I left close to a half a lobster roll which I never ever do and don't regret leaving it. Bring back the old owners recipe and bring your price down because that is uncalled for to have such a huge price for terrible lobster!! That is the price charged by lobster shacks on the water that serve fresh shucked lobster meat which is of course understandable.
