STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST & COWBOY RIBEYE*
    Em B.

we came on a sunday evening for a predictably delicious dinner. our server, shavaun, provided the absolute best service i think anyone could possibly provide, she's definitely an exemplary server of the ruth's chris brand. jacob, our server assistant, was also excellent. the manager came over to check on us during our meal which was much appreciated. we started with the sizzling crab cakes, which were perfect. for our meals, we ordered the cowboy ribeye and the stuffed half chicken, with mashed potatoes and asparagus on the side. we also tried a bottle of their malbec cabernet which i really loved. the cowboy ribeye was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and i typically love the stuffed roasted half chicken, however there was slightly a bit too much something in the stuffing that i couldn't quite point out. it was still great, just could have been slightly less. crab cakes 9/10 cowboy ribeye 9.4/10 chicken 9/10 mashed potatoes 10/10 asparagus 10/10 malbec cabernet 10/10 i really enjoyed our meal here, and the service was impeccable. ruth's chris is always a satisfying meal for any occasion. ambiance: 5/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 6/5 ruth's chris steak house: 5/5

This review is for the Ruth's Chris bar where we had post dinner drinks, arriving from a different restaurant in the area. We were looking for a nice spot to have a drink and conversation. We initially wandered into The Mercantile, but it was packed and had at least 10 people between us and the maître de. We reversed direction and headed across the plaza to Ruth's Chris. This Ruth's Chris is relatively new and has a nice upscale bar area. They've had mixed dinner reviews on Yelp, including my prior review. But we found the bar venue to be a great spot for a quiet drink. The service was excellent, the bar stools comfortable, and the venue is attractive. The wine is on the pricier side, and I thought my cabernet was good, but not awesome and my co-diners also enjoyed their drinks. The total was $68 with tip, and I'd be happy to return.

We celebrated a birthday at Ruth's Chris and everything from start to finish was perfect. When we walked in, everyone was polite and welcoming. They led us to a table sprinkled with "Happy Birthday" confetti such a thoughtful and subtle gesture that was perfect since the Birthday Boy doesn't like a lot of attention. Our waitress, Sybil, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive without hovering, quick to bring anything we needed, and so decisive when we weren't sure what to order. She walked us through the menu with confidence and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. She also explained the famous 500° plates, and let me tell you the food was phenomenal. From the warm welcome to the incredible service to the unforgettable meal, Ruth's Chris truly made this celebration special. Highly recommend, especially if you're lucky enough to have Sybil as your server!

The food was served piping hot. I got the petite filet with the added the Truffle Crust topping which was truffle butter, Parmesan, and panko breadcrumbs. The steak was cooked perfectly and the topping was decadently delicious. My partner got the petite filet and shrimp. It consisted of 2, 4oz filets and 4 artfully placed jumbo shrimp. The menu said there would be 6, we did not complain as shrimp were very big. Sides dishes are very generous in portions. We split the creamed spinach (yum!) and the au gratin potatoes--they were fine, rather bland-- we had doggie bags for the spinach, potatoes, and a petite. Something of note-- the bread for the table was a mini loaf of boring white bread and cold butter. It was a missed opportunity to start the food experience. The service was very good. We were there for my birthday, and the table was set with cheerful birthday confetti and a hand signed birthday card - very sweet. I was given a mini cheesecake with a candle for dessert. My partner got the crème brûlée. The presentation of both was pretty, but both lacked flavor and consistency. All in all, it was a lovely evening. However, for the price, I don't think I need to go back. There are many other places in the area that can fill the bill a bit better.

To be my top 3 restaurants, I'm giving this location two stars. Very unfortunate as I was excited to have them in this area. I'm originally from Boston, which caused me to patron the Waltham and Boston locations frequently. I made my reservation online. Last night's dinner was to celebrate my birthday with my toddler daughter. I made a confirmation the night I made the reservation and the restaurant itself called to confirm an hour prior asking the occasion. I arrived and the restaurant is empty. The staff was attending to an empty table putting confetti and moving glasses around a bouquet that was delivered. The hostess then attended to me and I advised her that I had a reservation. She placed the confetti jar away behind the desk and escorted my daughter and I to our table. The table was prepared for 4-5 ppl. My thoughts, why do I have to confirm my reservation twice if the table isn't set for me and the restaurant is completely empty. So anywho, we sit down and they don't take the place settings away. I move all the glasses, plates and silverware to the other side of the table and asked for them to be removed. Truthfully, my actual birthday was a snow storm and not such a good day, so I was looking forwarded to being greeted to a confetti'd table that stated Happy Birthday. But whatever. Staff: very pleasant. Food: TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! I get the same items every single time I dine at RC. That entails: lobster bisque, spicy shrimp, crab cakes, sweet potato casserole, creamed spinach and some type of meat. The lobster bisque was awful. I had two spoonful and didn't touch it again. My waitress asked if I liked it and I told her no. I asked her if the ingredients changed because it didn't taste the same. Crazy enough the table next to me was inquiring before I did (I don't think they liked it either). She said she could take it off the bill. Spicy shrimp and crab cakes were cooked perfectly. Sweet potato casserole....I again was disappointed as I was sooooooo looking forward to it. It was dry, stiff and overcooked. Nothing like the other locations. Creamed spinach was eh! And it's my #1 side on the menu. Okay now to the meat...I've never gotten the chicken before and this time I did. I stopped eating red meat and I had fish all week so I decided to give the chicken a try. I've heard some great reviews of the stuffed chicken and was excited to try something new. Let's just say, when I started to eat it, I didn't see what the rave was about. I would've never get this chicken again if this is the actual taste. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Nowwwww to dessert...my absolute favorite. So much of a favorite...I'll order it as a plain takeout if I want sweets...bread pudding. When I received it my eyes lit up because it was sooooo huge. She did put it on a happy birthday plate which I smiled about. I started off with the edge and worked my way into the center...I stopped eating....it wasn't cooked all the way. It became soupy like. Because it's my fav, I boxed it and said I would bake it more when I got home. Sooooo...overall, I will not return to this location which is a total bummer.

Ruth's Chris Comes to Worcester... and it's Fantastic! I've long wondered why a high-end steak house hadn't opened in Worcester. Thankfully, we don't have to wait any longer... the new Ruth's Chris, open for just under a month, is already impressing. After our meal last night, I can confidently say that this is now the top table in town. From our warm greeting upon arrival to dessert, everything was perfect. Kudos to the staff and management team for their dedication and hard work... not easy to do! The restaurant is well designed. The front room is the main dining room, with several comfortable booths. I love the glass wall, facing the street, letting in a lot of light during our early dinner, and it's nice to see the action on the street. This is an area of town that has really been built up. The next room is a great bar where I'm sure I'll be spending some time soon... some nice tables in this area too. Further back, I understand, there are a couple of private rooms that can seat up to 60. The kitchen was firing on all cylinders. The Seared Ahi Tuna with cucumber and a mustard-beer sauce is amazing... sushi quality and a great way to start. An excellent Ciabatta bread and butter is served warm for the table. The Crab Cakes were another winning appetizer served on their signature piping hot plate. The 11 oz Filet Mignon melted in your mouth, cooked perfectly medium rare. I needed the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and we never miss the Sweet Potato Casserole with pecan crust when we go to a Ruth's Chris. Both were served hot and were great accompaniments to our steaks. Cocktails were expertly made and the wines by the glass were very good. There's also a small well-chosen wine list by the bottle. Cheesecake w Fresh Berries and the Crème Brulée provided a great ending to a fantastic meal. Service was excellent throughout. Our server, Jaden, was very professional, friendly, and efficient. Management kept a watchful eye on the room during this busy Saturday night. One of the managers, Paul, stopped by various tables to make sure all was going well. We enjoyed speaking to him and was great about answering our questions about this exciting new place. I've been to many Ruth's Chris locations around the country... and Ruth's Chris Worcester is now right at the top with my other favorites. Can't wait to return! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We dropped by Ruth's Chris for happy hour prior to heading to a hockey game. I went with the cheeseburger as a friend of mine described as "the best burger in town". Unfortunately, this was not the case. The first burger that came out the top bun was completely frozen. I brought it up to the server who politely sent it back to the kitchen. The second was overcooked. I ordered medium rare and there was absolutely no pink in the center. This was a bit of a bummer as usually steak houses offer some of the best burgers around. The redeeming aspect of this visit was the customer service. The hostess, servers , manager all were incredibly attentive and polite. Also, on the plus side, they have one of the best Manhattans in town. All-in-all would probably think twice before going back to visit again.

Thanksgiving well done. Well, actually it was medium rare, the New York Strip that is!! Excellent! but pricey: $3.75/oz. = 60 for 16; WOW! I'm so out of touch. Service was great! Ambiance too. Presentation and taste-appeal was surreal. Coffee fresh brewed and a wine list that really wooed. I don't think Worcester qualifies this great food but we'll take it while they are still making it. Places like this just do not exist for very long in this Worcester area so very wrong for so very long. Sounds like a very bad song, yet come on and enjoy it before it's gone.

My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

The entire restaurant was empty aside from 2 tables when we arrived. They crammed us literally 6 inches away from 1 of the 2 tables filled. I initially was taken aback but the two ladies sitting next to us kindly slid their table over a tad to give us more space (we were beside a wall to the other side near the door). Honestly - I'm glad I didn't say anything because by 5:30 the entire restaurant was filled and it was nice to have nobody on one side of us. They served bread drizzled with olive oil with some olives to start. There was nothing particularly wrong with the bread, however, being a Greek restaurant, it may have made a lot more sense to serve fresh warm pita as the starter bread course. We ordered the Feta Saganaki to start. That was absolutely the star of the entire show! Very crispy on the outside with a hot gooey feta cheese on the inside, drizzled with ample amounts of honey, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Absolutely to die for. I started with the Greek sangria - it was fine, but nothing special. My husband got one of the three espresso martini options and he really enjoyed his drink. The restaurant got busy very quickly and it didn't seem they had enough waitstaff on. Everyone was sort of running around with their heads cut off, and service was slow and inattentive at times. For dinner, I had the moussaka. It was very salty and the béchamel sauce on top was sort of gelatinous. It didn't taste bad, but it was a very odd consistency. My husband got the kebab plate with steak and chicken. It was served over a bed of rice with a small side salad. Nobody came back to the table to ask how our meals were after serving us. We really needed salt and pepper, which was not on the table and my husband wanted to order another drink. We had to ask two different servers before we got the drink, but never got the salt or pepper. We took a piece of baklava home to enjoy after the show. It was delicious! We are not in the area and it's unlikely that we would be back to this restaurant in the future. We are foodies at heart and had this been a delicious meal - we likely would have driven all the way back to Worcester just for dinner. It unfortunately sort of missed the mark.

However, a lot of "spices". I ended up requesting more ginger beer and lime to cut it. That helped. But overall good quality drink. The Atlantic salmon crudo was very interesting. Nothing close to what I expected. It was gross. Really thick salmon over globs of a black garlic aioli. The ratio was so off. It was so pasty. I am shocked they haven't reviewed that item on their menu. Usually crudos are so nice and light. This was not. The wild Spanish octopus was the better of the three dishes. Once they announce it, you need to call immediately or get shut out. My observation about the place itself. The U shaped bar is gigantic for the space. It's a bar-bar too not like a sushi counter. This seems to draw a crowd of local drinkers rather than the normal sushi crowd. You feel like you walked into a sports bar. The place was really loud and it was hard to hear the chef explaining everything. Once seated... it's the chefs carving the tuna off to the side. There were 2 bar tenders making drinks and like 3 chefs cutting tuna.... other than that, no waitstaff. Which is really odd. You have to grab the manager who was running around helping to get your Wasabi refilled. Not to mention they gave zero place settings for about 8 of us, until we asked. The bar tenders seemed to pass over my empty drink until I asked for a refill too. It's a more chaotic event than I would have liked for $120 per person. It also takes time to carve the tuna so if you arrive hungry be prepared to not get your first tiny bite until 45 minutes after the start. The star was Chef Timmy. Honestly he was awesome. The tuna.... so good. You end to with only 3 pieces of Nigiri which was a little disappointing but the sashimi part was unlimited. Of course you have to take your plate up and ask for some. They only put about 6 small pieces of the various cuts per trip. I think I went up 5 times for sashimi alone. The tuna handrolls you can make yourself or ask the chef nicely. Those were really good. Probably best I ever had because it's so fresh. There is a limited amount of the highly prized (and highly priced) Kamatoro, but you can experience it here as it's included in the experience. That's a hard cut to find. The finale was a shot of tuna spinal fluid. My first time with that but it's not bad. You're probably looking at $150 per person unless you order alcohol than it's alot more. The fresh cut tuna is amazing. I'm glad I did it. The chaos and the setting made it less than ideal. I don't think I would go again to this location for it. One and done. It's a bit weird that you're paying $120 for this and you're still intermingled with local patrons just there to grab some beers after work and watch the game. Because of the massive bar it is impossible to create a space secluded to do it. They also should have a roaming waiter at least taking care of the 30 people who came for this experience.

Our waitress was pleasant and prompt throughout our dinner. On our first visit my co-diner ordered the fried scallops, and thought they were very tasty. So, on this visit we ordered: * 2 - Fried Scallop Baskets (one with regular fries, the other with sweet potato fries) * Chicken Wings Side with BBQ Sauce Our order arrived quite quickly, and I immediately sampled a sweet potato fry. Tasty! Hot, crispy, and nicely cooked. The same could be said for the regular fries. It's unfortunate so many restaurants are French fried challenged, with fries that are served too cool and limp. Kudos to Juicy Seafood for great fries. The scallops were also tasty, with or without the bread crumbs (which come off very easily). They were fresh tasting, very hot and very juicy. However, the chicken wings were not good, they were overcooked, overloaded with sauce and difficult to eat. I wouldn't recommend those. Overall, we were happy with our dinner and would be delighted to return.

Hoping this was just a bad day for the resultant and that this experience is not continued as it was one of my favorite restaurants previously.
