Came here for an impromptu after work event. Been wanting to come to a place like this for awhile, but have yet to do so. Liked that for one price you got to play all the games as opposed to having to pay per game. Plenty of games to play, mostly older ones that had a good nostalgia feel. Came to this place from Charlotte, NC for my birthday, this was the 2nd stop of the night. Greeted by not a hello at the door, by who I assume was the owner, but instead i got a "CASH or CAHHHD". Pay $12 to get in.... Can i get a Modelo please" blonde bartender gave me a nasty attitude, "I dont have that, pick something else". Im already feeling the masshole in this place, and now I have a bouncer on my shoulder telling me my night is over and hes escorting me out for vaping? Yet, i dont even own a vape, i wasnt allowed to ask questions or prove my innocence or even have my group leave with me. Nope, down the back alley and told to have a good night by a bouncer who thinks hes a tough guy off of the little bit of power he's given. recently discovered this place and i had so much fun i made plans to return only a couple days later. This time i ordered at the bar and was met with the most awful attitude. he made me and my friends so uncomfortable that they didnt want to go back to the bar and order more drinks. He also made my drink wrong. I ordered a shirley temple and this asshole didn't even put a cherry in it. I don't mean to sound angry over nothing, but if im paying you to make me what i ordered the very least you can do is get it right. Even worse we sat by the bar waiting for my pizza to be ready and the stupid bartender couldnt even give it to me or call out that my order was ready. he just kept his face buried in his ipad. and i sat there and watched my food sit until i noticed it had my NAME on it and approached the bar. I am seriously so frustrated and disappointed. We LOVE this place It has grown and evolved so much since it's opening. The collection of games is so good. The bar is excellent. They now have a patio with a stage to host music in the nice weather months. They have corn hole out there too I can't say enough. We come almost every week and it's so fun. They even have parking. It's a great bar filled with old-school arcade games. Cover is pretty inexpensive like $10, and on weekends, they do have a live music and karaoke. They have a smoke area outside on the left side of the bar. Some of the games do need a bit of a maintenance check, and it gets very packed where it's hard to walk around sometimes. Overall a good place to give a try for a group hangout. Drinks are pretty solid and the bartenders are always good to cater everybody. read more

There was plenty of parking (which I always love at a bar!), so that's a bonus. Their drink menu is fairly large! Lots of original-sounding drinks that nod to the 80's. Went here on a Saturday night and had a lot of fun! Ordering a drink at the front bar is easy enough due to the fact they have a few bartenders that know what they're doing. Huge variety of old school arcade games! There's a pinball machine room. Skeeball was fun! I wish there were more lanes to play though because there are only 4 skeeball machines and 1 was out of commission, plus they are shoved in a corner- minus half star. The back area has karaoke and a whole dance scene that was getting pretty hype by the time we left around midnight. (Wish they had 2 bartenders working the back bar, minus half star.) They do have a coat room, which is surprising but definitely a necessity in winter.(One minor downside is that even chics have to pay for the coat room, but seeing how all the games are free with the cover charge, I didn't mind paying a couple bucks to not have to lug my giant coat around.) Interestingly, there was almost a fight between a couple guys in front of the coatroom? I can't say i was surprised to see an armed police officer assisting the bouncer with checking people as we left- it's Worcester after all. I'm looking forward to coming back. read more

Stopped in on a Wednesday night with a coworker while in town for a work trip. Atmosphere was fantastic, games were amazing. First time going here and we went on Family day. My kids and I had great time. It was packed but that is not there fault. Most of the arcade games work and are in good shape. Only 2-3 pinballs were down and maybe 2 arcade games out of over a hundred I think. This is really good compared to other arcades where it seems 50% of all games are broken. Nearly all of the older games have good condition CRT monitors and that was really a surprise and fun to play the games as they were intended to look. Yes, it's a great place love the idea. $10 all you can play. I also enjoy the once in a while family play days. Already planning another trip. I would definitely recommend this place the only thing that was a little off was the pizza not good at all and that's the only food option they have. I believe If they get rid of the fancy pizza boxes and just use reusable pizza trays they could spend a little more on a better quality pizza. To me, it's not the place to go grab food but it is the place to grab drinks and play some retro video games. The cover is reasonable and the games are free after you pay to get in. The service was great: the security, when you enter, gives you the lay of the land and the bartender gives guidance and small taste tests of drinks on tap which was helpful to me - the beer was reasonably priced but limited in selection. I thought the mixed drinks were a bit pricey but I was also there with three other people and covered the tab so it's a spenders perspective. I loved the atmosphere, it made me feel like I was in college again. It was a great night out without the kids which isn't something I get to do often. How can you beat an arcade that costs $10 to play unlimited games? One of the downfalls with arcades is that you can spend a whole lot of money in just a short time.. it gets dangerous. I love that I don't have to worry about putting more money in right in the middle of a game (especially when it starts counting down). Its an absolute blast here. You can purchase alcohol here too. I see some complaints about the drinks being expensive but again, you can be here all night playing all sorts of games! Been looking forward to trying this place for awhile. We went out to dinner before taking an Uber over to Free Play. Unfortunately, they are VERY strict about about their "no outside food" policy. Pretty rude bouncer at the door asked us if we could put it in our car (like I would have brought in leftovers if we had driven). We told them we took an Uber from the restaurant straight here and asked if there was anywhere we could store it and mentioned that we weren't trying to eat it, we just didn't want to throw it away. Freeplay is so fun! I love that you only have to pay one price and then you can play unlimited games. There are so many games to choose from! They have plenty of drinks as well - local and all! The mixed drinks are good as well, the one downfall is the website says they have pizza but when we got there they said it isn't available yet. We picked that place as a night out because it had entertainment, food, and drinks but there was no food nor do they allow you to bring it into their facility. The website should say currently unavailable until it is as had we known that we could've went to dinner first. Our evening got cut short because we had to leave and get food.
