    Buffalo chicken

When I go out to eat, I never want to sacrifice quality. The pizza here blows it out of the park-- the organic ingredients, free range chicken, thoughtfully curated and created for the mindful eater. In all seriousness, even the young girl at the front today (Friday afternoon) was so pleasant and helpful. The customer service was 5/5! We tried 2 large pizzas-- the sausage and the buffalo chicken to go. Buffalo chicken was better while the sausage was what we deemed more "adult" pizza, there was just a lot going on with it lol. Very cute interior and clean as well.

    Pepperoni and mushroom pizza...perfection.

We stopped for lunch yesterday and were 100% pleased with our experience. Entering the dining room my reaction was immediate, "this is beautiful." It is a clear and direct summation of a modern, minimalist design that is also welcoming. We ate at the bar, where Chase, the bartender provided and engaged us in pleasant conversation about the restaurant, neighborhood, and Worcester itself. We ordered the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and in a word it was delicious! There are many interesting versions of pizza offered, and we look forward to returning in trying many of them. There is both a Carne (meat) and vegan special pizza that alternates every two weeks.

Delicious Hawaiian pizza with chicken and Candelpin

Excellent spot for a midweek knight out with shining armour and a middling bowling groove. She won the string with her stubbornly unorthodox bowling style. I won the last two slices of pizza. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The lanes were immaculate. I hope to return someday ! esp. if she (ever) grants me a second date.

Really enjoyed my order here. The bread had a great crust tho the wait was a little longer than expected during busy time.

    Vincent's - Meatball Sandwich

I probably never would have found this place on my own, but I'm really glad I tried it!…read more One of my bosses is originally from Worcester, and her daughter was heading home for the weekend, so my boss asked her to stop at Vincent's and grab us some meatball sandwiches for lunch. She had been talking about how amazing their meatball sandwiches were, and since meatball sandwiches are basically my favorite food, I obviously had to try them. Before this, I had never heard of Vincent's. We looked it up and realized it's not really a traditional restaurant. It's a bar that serves food, and apparently their meatball sandwiches are a big thing. Another coworker of mine who is also from Worcester explained that this is a place people go to for drinks and food, and that they have some specific rules when it comes to ordering the sandwiches. When we called, we were told that they do takeout, but you can't actually place a takeout order over the phone. You have to go in and order it. I thought that was a little unusual, but my coworker said that's their normal practice. There is also a three-sandwich limit per person. My bosses daughter went in to order five for the office, so thankfully she had someone with her and they were able to order three each. Apparently, the three-sandwich limit is posted on one of their Google pictures, so I guess if you know, you know. I do wish they had a website or something that clearly explained the takeout process and ordering limits, because if you've never been there, you wouldn't necessarily know any of this. Now for the important part...the sandwich! My bosses daughter had about a 30-35 minute drive back to us, so I honestly expected the sandwich to be pretty cold by the time I got it. It was wrapped in foil, and somehow it was STILL warm when I opened it. I was actually surprised. And let me tell you...this was probably one of the best meatball sandwiches I've ever had. It's definitely different from your typical meatball sub. The meatballs are flat, and instead of a regular torpedo/sub roll, it comes on this thick Italian bread. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but I LOVED it. The combination of the bread and the meatballs was so good that I'm pretty sure I'm going to want my meatball sandwiches this way from now on. I can only imagine how good it would have been if I had eaten it fresh at the bar instead of 35 minutes later. So yes, I completely understand why my boss recommended this place. If I'm ever back in the Worcester area, I will absolutely be stopping at Vincent's. Just make sure you know the ordering rules before you go!

I'm staying up on the hill at the Vida. So it's a 28 min walk from there. All downhill one way. All uphill the next. It's a Tuesday night and they were packed at 6pm. I'm here by myself so I was able to grab a spot at the bar. Easily found one and got a menu quickly. It was loud when I walked in but surprisingly quiet on the opposite side of the bar. I told the bar tender I was caught between two dishes and she helped me pick. The Turkey BLT. I also got the crispy Broccoli because it looked like something I couldn't just get anywhere. Both were great choices but a ton of food. The broccoli was super sweet with a little wasabi after kick. The turkey BLT was thick cut turkey breast not overshadowed by the bacon. A lot of times a BLT is just assuming that you just want a bacon sandwich. Not this one. I'm not supposed to have bacon so I have to remove it. It's a shame when I'm out traveling I don't get to share these experiences with my wife. I'd love for her to try this place.

However we were seated at a large, awkward table in the back of the second floor area where a door was open to an outdoor patio area. The temp was in the high 50's and since we were very cold we asked that they close the door to the outside or reseat us. Initially a cocktail waitress said (rudely) that closing the door was impossible because it would make it hard for her to get in and out. Eventually a manager type of guy came over and closed the door. Fine...except college kids were going in and out the door to the outside patio area every few seconds so we continued to freeze. Complained again and asked to be moved...nothing! Eventually and mercifully we finished our dinner and were ready to leave. The snippy and sassy cocktail waitress continued to go in and out the door making sure that she opened it widely each time, and sneered at us every time. On our way out I complained to the general manager and he said "sorry" but didn't acknowledge that we asked to be reseated and we were just ignored. This place is packed all the time so I assume they don't care about one disgruntled table of 5, still, you should know that if the weather is chilly don't let them seat you anywhere near the outside patio...you'll freeze and they won't care.
