This was my first visit here in a long time. Special shout out to Joe. He was great. I was undecided and he helped me choose my sandwich for lunch, talked to me while he made it. I'd come back just because of him. He really seemed to enjoy his work and it showed. Enjoyed a roast beef and mozzarella sandwich. Though not as big as I remembered, there was still plenty of food to satisfy my hunger. It was fresh and it tasted great. Great subs but a little disappointed by the service. Asked if they have Italian subs (not listed on their menu) and was told they're pre made in the coolers. I told her I didn't want a pre made sub because there's certain veggies I didn't want on it. She basically told me to go screw. So I ordered a different sub from their menu that was supposed to have bacon on it, no bacon. Got my fiancé a sub and asked for onions, no onions. Of course I didn't realize either of these things until I got home. The two kids behind the counter were very distracted and too flirty with each other instead of paying attention to the order. I was literally the only one ordered subs at this time so the 2 mistakes shouldn't have been made. Overall, good quality meat. Tasty cheese. Large selection of subs and they'll make special order subs as well (unless it's one of their pre-made selections!) Bread isn't the best sub bread I've ever had but that's ok. Excited to try their salad bar and their roasted coffee as well. Also saw a lot of people coming in for catering orders. read more

I'm from out of town. I read through all the reviews before I stopped there. The only reason I went is because I couldn't find another sandwich shop. The staff were neither friendly nor rude. The place was a little dirty, kind of a hole in the wall. I ordered a roast beef and cheese wrap. The roast beef was so rare it was bloody. Completely unappetizing. I ordered a wrap with onions, cheese, pickles, mayo. There wasn't enough mayo on it and overall, it was completely lacking in flavor. I would never return. Excellent subs! I particularly like the kikin chicken lickin and the sloppy Willy. Great selection of meats at very reasonable prices.

The last time I was there for a sandwich a couple months ago, the deli worker who was just making herself a Kerig coffee in her Dunkin' cup with her gloves on, gave me a little snark when I had to ask her to change her gloves before making my sandwich. Then, after she changed the gloves and got the bread out, she turned around to the meat case and shoved her gloved hand up under the back of her shirt and gave herself a back scratch. I walked out. Today I went there for a lemon and avocado to avoid the crowded supermarket. The humus in the case next to the register had mold in it...gross! Then they had only one golf ball - sized lemon and it was .99cents - I'm sorry, but really? Ninety-nine cents for one tiny lemon? I think they're usually 2 for a dollar in the market. Never again. The grinder bread was bland but fresh. The meats were good in the sandwich but with bland bread it was rather boring. They don't even supply straws for your drink which was rather odd. Don't plan to eat your sandwich inside because there is nothing but a long picnic table. All in all just average sandwiches in a deli. It's definitely a pretty good little deli. It could use to be a little bit cleaner, but the food is always great, I have never had an issue with anything I have purchased there. The produce is very good. Staff has always been friendly. I am giving them three stars because the last two times I have been in there and have used my debit card, the amount has been more than what they said. So I believe they are charging you a surcharge for using electronic payments. Which I just don't agree with at all. I did not see a posted sign of this policy, but I may have missed it, as long as this policy is in effect they will never get five stars out of me. I understand it costs businesses money to take credit cards, however in my business I write it off as the cost of doing business. Nothing is more offputting to a customer then charging them a fee quite literally just because you can. To make up the few percent that the credit cards take, they should just upped their prices and say nothing, and avoid the issue read more

We go here often because their meat is good and their prices are decent. The employees are always pleasant and the service is always prompt. I went in tonight to get some meat and there were two women working there. I was the only customer there and I was standing at the deli counter waiting for someone to help me. Both women walked by me several times and neither bothered to acknowledge me. They were both doing something else but if either of them had just said "hello" or "be right with you" I would've waited all day but the fact that they acted like I wasn't even there really bothered me. Horrible!!!!!! Wish I could give negative stars. The staff all have bad attitudes. I asked for a Turkey club and got looked at like I was stupid. I said a Turkey club has bacon on it, the reply was "so you want a turkey and bacon then", I said sure but its called a Turkey Club, that got me another rude look and his reply was "I can put whatever you want on it so I'll put bacon". What the heck?? A small Turkey sandwich is $4.50, you can make It a large for $2.50 more. I go to pay and it was $10, so i was charged literally $3 for 2 pieces of bacon. I can buy a package of bacon for $3. The first time I ever went in for a Turkey Club the woman who took my order rudely told me there were premade ones in the fridge. I didn't want a premade sandwich. She refused to make a new one. I buy the premade "Turkey Club" and guess what, NO BACON is on it, hence why I wanted her to make me one. She argued with me over it. I called up and told a supervisor what happened and was rude too. I'm never ever going back there. $10 for a freakin Turkey club. I have been a waitress a LONG time and have never ever seen a $10 Turkey Club. read more

I worked there for a bit. and i would advise anyone that buys food from there to not buy the fruit cups because they use the fruit that it like a day from going bad. Then it sits on the shelf for 3 days at a time. They also use the old veggies to make the stir fry. And the tomatoes they use on all the subs are the old tomatoes that are rotting. We have been coming here for years to buy our meats and sandwiches for our catering business as well as for home. I must say compared to anyone else in the area we have done business with they have by far been the best in quality, service, taste & price!! The produce is always super fresh and the trail mixes & dried fruits are yummy! They have this in house cedar smoked pulled pork that's just phenomenal! And the stuffed peppers! There's also an Herbalife health food shop within the store that I can get one of their amazing protein shakes to go with my lunch as well! I read some bad (and strange lol) reviews on here that didn't sound anything like what we've experienced in the years of doing business here...guess everyone's opinions are different & we all know what they say about those! read more

BUYER BEWARE. i don't usually write bad reviews, but i feel so cheated, i had to say something. i went in for some cold cuts, and they had such a great price on filet mignon ($9.99/lb) I thought i'd get a couple. the first red flag: they were already pre-cut & prepackaged. the second red flag: of the few packages the counter person showed me... one was already turning gray from having sat a few days. Three: buyer's remorse set in when i got home & unwrapped my purchase: they were not trimmed & they put the untrimmed fat toward the center so i could not see it. Four: i decided to weigh it & the first thing i noticed was the total weight did not match the weight that i paid, it was under. Five: i trimmed the filets and weighed the portion i trimmed. it was OVER 1/4LB of unusable inedible fat. never never again! it was no bargain! i was overcharged more than $3.00 for something i've never had to pay for at better butcher shops...fat. and what was left was of inferior quality. i cannot support a business that cheats its customers read more
