Wow and if you need a basket it's a quarter and make sure and bring your own bags too. This is a small store that's super busy . The prices are way worth the trip . Going to the store these days is just crazy . Feeding little kids that's a struggle . As an outsider we have seen lots of families . Aldi has designed this store to be fast, efficient and simple . The affordability of the products are first rate . The store is divided and organized by category. Now the parking lot is small you might have to walk a little further for that special deal . Check this out, they include produce and freezer items for purchase in store . We did the whole experience purchasing spinach and blueberries. Even at an Aldi it was cheaper than buying at the regular supermarket. The check out process is all automated. The fruits and veggies were nice and tasty .

Actual food is often found in natural with limited packaging and no branding?!?! On the downside, Market Basket can get very busy. Navigating the aisles can be challenging, and there can still be lines at the registers on the weekends even when all of them are open. The parking lot can be just as crowded. Sometimes necessary to park in the Home Depot lot because the Market Basket lot is completely full. Overall, though, Market Basket offers good prices, a solid selection, fresh produce, and plenty of staffed checkout lanes. A solid 4 stars.

So glad I found gala foods, it had almost everything I was looking for! Being Cuban from Miami,…read morethere are many products and foods that I miss having accessible. While gala foods didn't have them all, it definitely had more than a typical star market or stop and shop around here! I would say it caters more towards Mexican, Brazilian, and some other cultures. I found that I did not see many products I would consider to be Cuban, and some (e.g. plantain chips) were only in the generic (read: not as good) brands. Lots of Goya products, which I do not support anymore, but I managed to get everything I needed without buying a single Goya product. While there were a few products I would've liked to see more variety of, I was overall pleased. And to the reviewers who said this is in the sketchy part of Worcester... LOL. This is what you consider sketchy? Would return, but also will continue my search for the greatest Hispanic market in Massachusetts.

And OMG the bakery treats are fantastic, especially the guava pastries! A few things to note: parking lot in the back is large (it's not JUST off-street parking), they charge for bags (and have a tip jar out for the cashiers, which is wild, unless they aren't making at least minimum wage), they accept EBT, which means they mark up the groceries. Produce can sometimes be hit or miss. Music is always popping (don't judge me if you see me dancing down the aisles). Definitely worth the stop, especially if you're a condiment junkie (I'll never turn down good bbq or hot sauces), like me!

If someone sees you looking aimlessly around (in wonder) they will ask you if you need help finding something. Don't expect a glamorous store. It is immaculate.
