It was about a 10 minute wait for a table to clear, we got lucky. It was our first time having Peruvian food so we got a bit of everything. Mar y Tierra which is basically the lomo salteado served with pasta in a cheesy sauce instead of fries and rice and topped with shrimp, super tasty, well seasoned and tender meat. The trio Marino; fried fish was fresh and super tasty, especially topped with the citrusy red thin sliced onions; ceviche was light, refreshing, the corn gave it nice crunch and pop; arroz chaufa de mariscos had a good amount of shrimp, squid, and topped with a scallop, very tasty. We also tried the fried cuy , there's the option to order a quarter, half or full cuy. I'm glad I tried it, it tasted like a cross between chicken and pork. Lastly, we had the weekend special, seco de cordero, which is stewed lamb shank. It was falling of the bone and tasty, served with a hearty portion on white rice and white beans. I really appreciate that they have an "American" section on the menu for picky kids like mine who like to have chicken and fries no matter where they go. 4 out of 5 stars because although the servers were very friendly, service was lacking. We didn't get napkins or utensils until we asked and after getting the food. Food is made to order which is great but it all comes out at different times, it was fine for us because we were eating as a family, everyone trying each dish but it would not have worked well for a group each wanting their own meal. Shoutout to the owner who is cooking in the kitchen and also came out to check on all the tables. Overall it was a great meal and experience, you can feel the love and pride they have for their food. I would absolutely recommend and come back!

I finally stopped in this restaurant after bookmarking this place a few months ago…read more Noticed a lot of the yelpers was comparing this business to the Los Andes restaurant. And few of the reviews even stated that this restaurant was just as good but less expensive. And some reviews indicated it was a hit or miss when dining here. I just have to say that yes it's cheaper and no it should not be compared Los Andes. They may both be of a Peruvian cuisine but that's where the similarities ends. The product you get here is ok and cheaper and that's ok if you're not too worried about the quality and the taste, atmosphere or the service. This is a small dated restaurant that offers no atmosphere what so ever. Definitely not a clean restaurant by any means. Table surface was tacky and looks like the floor was not swept. I see scraps and debris under the table. So this was the the order Stuffed avocado app ( wasn't available) 1/2 rotisserie chicken ($9.50 good not dried out, but it's rotisserie chicken) Picante de marisco ( $13.99 seafood in a spicy salsa, Missing the octopus, came w/ 1 clam 2 mussel 3 shrimp, and small pieces of calamari It was bland and definitely not a hint of heat in this "spicy salsa" Arroz con marisco ( $13.99 seafood rice, Missing the octopus, came w/ 1 clam 2 mussel 3 shrimp, and small pieces of calamari This dish was also lacking in flavor So the octopus was the reason we ordered the seafood dishes and was omitted from the dishes. When I got to the restaurant, there was a different menu than the one I had seen online and it didn't have nachos on it, so I opted for chaufa rice and half ribs. I've had chaufa rice before and enjoyed it. This one was just ok. It was lukewarm as if it had been sitting out for a bit and the ribs weren't that great to me. I barely touched my plate. Service was ok, but awkward. The server hovered over me as I looked at my menu and did not ask my friends and I if we needed a drink until I asked him for some water. After he served us our food, he pretty much didn't check on us till we flagged him down for the check. I was confused by the ambiance as well. The music was all over the place and the signage outside the front is interesting. Is it Tap 107 or Loly's kitchen? Is it a bar or a restaurant? I just was confused by the experience. I wouldn't return.

This second location prove to be just as good as their first location, if not better. The restaurant decor is definitely more high end compared to their first location. My family visited on a Monday evening for dinner around 7pm. There were plenty of street parking. The restaurant had a lively crowd that night, a little boy's birthday/family dinner. I ordered my favorite dish, the Classico Rincon Limeno. I highly recommend this dish, you get a seafood ceviche served in a full body wine glass and a plate full of lightly battered fried seafood. We also tried the Seco De Cabrit, which is Peruvian lamb stew. You get stewed lamb meat with beans and rice. If you love lamb stew, this is a hearty dish to try. My husband ordered the Arroz Marisco, which is reminiscent of a seafood paella. Also good. The whole family shared one flan for dessert. It was very rich. Overall, everything we tried was delicious. The food came out quick and we were pleased with everything we ordered. Customer service was top notch. I can't wait to come back to try more dishes.
