The calamari was so full of flavor with a strong tact of lime in a good way seasoned perfectly. The pork and cheese with fried plantain was so different and good . The steak was fork tender no need for a knife and the gravy was spicy and full of life . Service is all was good are waitress help us with the menu and keep checking is on us . A fun, busy place to have dinner. Live music, huge portions, the managers were attentive, overall a great evening.

Amazing! Came with reservations on a Saturday night and was very impressed. Huge restaurant with a ton of seating but service was consistent throughout the night. Food was delicious- went with the lomo saltado and the 903 tasting and everything was awesome. Lomo saltado- the tomatoes were my favorite part and delicious! 903 tasting was also really tasty. If you're looking for some high end Bolivian/Peruvian food, this is the spot.

A consistently great choice. Despite arriving late because of bridge accidents, we were served promptly and finished within 40 minutes in time to make a lecture. We enjoyed two drinks along with the Pollo Napolitano and Pollo Los Andes. The total bill, including tip, was $115. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and the service was outstanding. Parking is very difficult, so using their valet service is highly recommended.

Do not judge this Providence gem by its street view, or you will be missing out on arguably the best restaurant in all of Rhode Island!! We have been loyal customers to Los Andes for years now, and they have remained at the top of our list for date nights and family celebrations. Los Andes is in a league of its own. You cannot go wrong with anything you get here - the food is consistent and perfect every single time (with some of the best steak we've ever had!). Some of our favorites dishes are their Churrasco Anticuchero, Salmon Aymara, Paella and Bisteca Andina. Their Andinian Mojito and Peruvian Pink Sangria are also a must. The portions are generous, so come hungry and ready to feast! The service from all of the staff is always incredible - everyone is always warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. This restaurant is always a hit anytime of the year, but especially in the warmer seasons when you can get outdoor seating. They have live music on the weekends. I definitely recommend a reservation for the weekends, otherwise you will be waiting for a table. The restaurant offers reliable valet parking in their lot.

Love this place! Came on a Friday night and ambiance was great with a live singer. It was definitely very busy and service was great. Calamari appetizer was extremely flavorful with all the peppers/tomatoes but the actual calamari seemed to be a little overcooked. The bisteca andina is always the star of the show and the reason I love this place so much! This plate has AMAZING flavor and was cooked to perfection. A must try!

Made a reservation on New Years Eve and it was busy but service was still really great for such a large restaurant! The piano sour was great. I could eat a whole meal of just the Saltena de pollo! Dinner was also really great. Food was cooked well and came out in a timely manner. Would for sure come back, I understand the hype now. We love Brasa y Chifa so I didn't have many doubts that we wouldn't love Los Andes. Their valet team is also really awesome as well!

Whenever I am in Providence, I always try to make it to Los Andes if I can. The food here is amazing. This time around, we got jalea, paella, salena de pollo, lechon, salmon de chicharron, calamari, and mussels. Everything was great but my must haves are the mussels (comes cold), jalea, and saltena de pollo. It was all just so good. The service was amazing as well. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and provided great recs. We got seated in the middle area and it was so warm and even had warm lighting which helped with seeing the menu. Last time i came i saw in the inside which was dark but food was still good nonetheless. Can't wait to try new menu items.

The location is meant for a date night. The art on the wall. The cool and Latin atmosphere. The drinks are great !!!! The traditional pisco is amazing the pink sangria is a nice twist on a classic. Let's get to the food. The salmon ceviche was delicious. Not fishy and just the perfect amount of acidity. The steak dish was great. Next time we will order the lomo. The dessert was great as well. Flan was creamy and not too sweet. Thanks to Chris for the recommendation.

This my my husband's favorite restaurant. He sticks with the Bisteca Andina (I think I spelled it right) all the time. The place gets rather packed and the wait can be gruesome so I recommend making reservations ahead of time. The staff is always friendly. Only problem I ever had was when a waitress forgot to check on us and give me some hot sauce but its understandable seeing they can get so busy. Other than that, we always enjoy the great food there

We arrived around 6pm without a reservation and only waited about 5 minutes before being seated, which was awesome. The restaurant is BIG and there's a lot of different smaller rooms that have different vibes. Very good food but it didn't at all feel cohesive. Maybe it was just what we ordered but I felt confused eating bread with olive oil and salsa, chicken salad as part of an appetizer, an empanada, and then steak. It was all individually delicious though! The drinks were also delicious!

We came here right at opening with no reservations and were seated within minutes. Food: I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was SO GOOD! Fairly large portions so I ended up taking some home. Service: Our waitress was fantastic and did a great job recommending food for us to try. Service was quick and our drinks were always full. Ambiance: We sat in the interior portion of this restaurant and it was nicely decorated and the restaurant was clean. If you are in this area and haven't tried this restaurant, I recommend that you do so. Experience was 10/10.

Hey guys! Is this restaurant pescatarian friendly?

Yes absolutely. There are many options that are just fish so you should be able to find something!

How come they don't except reservations for more than 6 people they've been "under construction" for a while now do I have to call or something?

The product you get here is ok and cheaper and that's ok if you're not too worried about the quality and the taste, atmosphere or the service. From the moment the dishes started arriving at the table, it was clear that this kitchen takes pride in bold flavors, fresh ingredients & beautifully prepared classics. The appetizer menu was simply too tempting to choose just one item, so we decided to order a variety to share which was an excellent decision on our part because every bite was outstanding! We started with the Chicharrón de Calamar, perfectly crispy breaded calamari that had a satisfying crunch without being heavy. It was served with banana peppers & a trio of sauces that elevated the dish even further. The sauces included a vibrant green spicy sauce with just the right kick, classic ketchup & a creamy dressing reminiscent of thousand island. Each one complemented the calamari in a different way, making every bite a little adventure. Next came the Ceviche de Marisco: fresh seafood marinated in a tangy citrus lemon sauce with herbs & spices, served with sweet potatoes, onions & corn. The seafood was marinated in a tangy citrus lemon sauce creating that signature refreshing ceviche flavor & beautifully balanced with the veggies which are traditional accompaniments that added sweetness & texture. Another standout was the Causa Rellena de Pollo: mashed potatoes marinated in aji amarillo with a filling of chicken salad, mayonnaise, fresh avocado & black olive. This dish was as visually appealing as it was delicious! For the main dish, we shared the Lomo Saltado, a classic that never disappoints. Tender stir-fried chicken was tossed with chopped onions & tomatoes in a savory soy-based sauce, creating that irresistible balance of Latin & Asian influences that Peruvian cuisine is known for. It was served over fluffy white rice with crispy French fries, which soaked up the sauce beautifully. Overall, this was a fantastic meal full of flavor & authentic Peruvian flair. Ordering a little bit of everything made the experience even more enjoyable, allowing us to explore different textures & tastes from across the menu. Shark Bar delivered a memorable dining experience & definitely a place worth returning to for anyone who appreciates vibrant, well-executed Peruvian food. NOM NOM NOM #YUM
