Fusion Feast Parrillada (1-2 People)
Kent S.

Rating: 4.3 Was looking for some dinner option around the area and found this place that is fairly new. It's located in a plaza amongst few other restaurants. Plenty if parkings are available for the plaza. When we got there it wasn't too busy so we were sat down right away. They offer mainly hispanic and Caribbean food and some drinks. Since we were new we decided go try their fusion feast parillada so that we can try few different type of meats they offer. It came with jerk chicken, steak, shrimps, chorizo, rice and beans, potatoes and some vegetables. Meats were mostly good overall but we liked chicken the best. It was juicy, flavorful and tender. The steak was a bit dry and tough. We ordered medium rare but it was more of medium. Shrimp and chorizos were fine. It also came with some green sauce which made it nice change of flavor. Rice and beans, potatoes and vegetable was pretty average. Portion was decent and came with exactly enough for 2 people. The service was good and our waiter was pretty attentive. Price was probably on a bit higher side. We only got the feast to share and were about $30-40 per person. Overall the place was good and would likely return for the jerk chicken and maybe try different dish. We did have some upset stomach after which i'm not sure if it was from here or something else.

The inside is definitely a lot smaller than i expected but the music is great and so was the service. They have gone day specials so im glad I dont live closer or I would be here for every game lol. The servings were huge and delicious. I know a burger isn't something high on the list of things to try but it has the jalapeño poper chicken dip on it and I really wanted to try that and I knew my date wouldnt like it since he's pick (ie the reason we got no pico on the tostones) the sauce for the oxtail was delicious and there was plenty to put on the rice and veggies. Ive never seen so many drink flights so we def had to try two.

Came here for some protein after an afternoon workout with my partner. So had one review so far. It's located in a plaza at the far end and as it was getting dark, the sign was hard to spot since it didn't have much lights in it. Restaurant was clean, with faux greenery, tv screens, a bar section, high top tables and regular table section as well as outdoor seating. The bartender section is very visible upon entering and staff was eating dinner. She noticed us and came and offered seating wherever we pleased. She seemed friendly and relaxed along with the bar goers, and the seating section was more private with some patrons enjoying their meal. What peaked my interest was the weekday specials, the fall drink specials, and the desert menu that was listed on the table. Our meal took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait. Ordered the fusion feast for 1-2 people. Had some water and was pleasantly offered lemon or lime. The dish came with steak, jerk chicken, shrimp, chorizo, 3 potato wedges, and rice. I liked how the platter separate one the portion for 2 people, each side had 3 shrimp, one steak, two chicken breast, two chicken legs, 1/4 chorizo cut longwise, and rice underneath with two tins of fresh/spiced sauce. I can say that the jerk chicken had amazing flavor and was the best. All the meats had a smoky aroma and flavor. 10/10 would order more jerk chicken entrees to try out. Our waiter was kind, and checked in during our meal. He laughed at how we finished our plate, asking if we enjoyed it. Very pleasant experience.

While doing the Lord of the Wings event it took us to Fusion. The sweet BBQ wings were delicious as was the Fusion Rice Bowl with grilled steak. I highly recommend giving them a try. Our waitress/bartender Lydia was friendly and very personable. Can't wait to go back again!!!

First time checking out Fushion and wow so glad we did! Sunday specials: $6 margaritas and apps (yes, please). Our table ordered the jerk shrimp, jerk wings, burger, cheesesteak/ chorizo sandwich--not a single miss. Everyone loved their meal (and yes, I'm still mad at myself for forgetting to take entrée photos ‍). Dessert was a must, and it did not disappoint. The flan and churros were a big hit, and my gingerbread espresso martini was fabulous and adorable basically holiday cheer in a glass. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the chef even came out to check on us and thank us for stopping in (such a nice touch!). We'll definitely be back!

We went on a Sunday & was able to get there $6 each football specials, 6 jerk wings, 6 sweet bbq & 6 coconut shrimp they came out pipping hot, crisp & seasoned well. The $6 passion fruit margarita was strong & good sized, just be careful I was asked if I wanted a sugar or salted rim & was charged $2 for it. Wasn't aware it was a charge. We ordered the oxtail & carne asada plates the oxtails they were flavorful & tender & my steak was cooked perfect I just added some salt, rice was good just missing the beans but I was ok with that & I changed the potato for Mac & cheese you can tell it was homemade & cheesy yum! We didn't have dessert because we were stuffed but there are great choices on the menu. Our waitress was awesome very attentive & kind there's plenty of space, a big bar with the football games on & clean. We enjoyed ourselves & will be back.

Everything I have had here has been fantastic! Pollo guisado, jerk chicken, jerk rib racks, Guatemalan chow Mein, fusion bowls, from the land to the sea the food is to die for.

Salmon with avocado salsa, rice and pinto beans, with veggies... delicioso!!

The service is amazing! The staff are so much fun and very attentive. The food is so very good! the Pollo Guisado and Salmon with avocado salsa was outstanding! The ambiance is great, they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The establishment nice and clean which I value. Do yourself a favor and try Fusion, you will not be disappointed! It's fantastic!!

This place is the real deal. The service was great, but the food was even better. My wife had the Cubano, and it was perfect. It was juicy and tangy and will melt in your mouth. I had the Jerk Chicken, and the portion was large, and it tasted as good as any I have had in Jamaica. I highly recommend the place. I will be going back often.

There are little details everywhere you look and it feels fun, warm and intentionally designed without trying too hard. It is such a great space for a gathering. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfect for grazing during a cocktail-style event. The winter cranberry spritz was basically all of my favorite flavors in one glass. So so good. Their cocktail and mocktail menu really shines and I cannot wait to go back and try more. As someone with food intolerances, I asked plenty of questions and everyone was friendly, patient and helpful with both menu guidance and cocktail suggestions. That always makes such a difference. There was even parking, which is a huge bonus. This is the perfect spot for a winter cocktail party or a fun night out. I will definitely be gathering my girls and heading back soon.

I would def love to come back again once it warms up!

We also tried a thin crust pizza with prosciutto and asked him to put buffalo mozzarella on it, which was a game changer. The pizza was excellent as well. The food is fantastic and far better than you would expect for a lounge. Primarily Italian food, the chef executes everything to perfection. They have a basic menu of appetizers, sandwiches and charcuterie, and every week the chef has a different entree menu with five or six items on it. The chef is so good, I am wondering why he isn't cooking for a big restaurant. Well, at least here he has control over the quality of the food. If you are in Rhode Island, stop by for a meal and a drink between 4 pm and 9 pm and thank me later.

I was thrilled to stop by and had a wonderful experience at the bar. I have a small appetite so I chose to have the side order of seafood fried rice and it did not disappoint. It was so absolutely delicious. The shrimp were plentiful and tender. The colorful variety of vegetables were fresh and the seasonings were incredible. So good... as I said, that I had to order another "side" to take home! I did spoil myself with some sticky toffee pudding of which I brought home leftovers as well. Be warned, it's on the more expensive side for dining and may be a coin toss for "is it worth it" for those that enjoy a night out but also looking for value. Food was a mixed bag for us.... Starting with the smashburger was genuinely disappointing as the burger itself was dry and advertised as a "French onion" smashburger that failed to deliver any of the rich, savory flavor we expected with a name like "French onion smashburger". The hot honey Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful... The hot being more of a vinegary heat than I expected but the cream sauce was rich. Speaking of value earlier.... Smashburger was $20 and the Mac and cheese was $28. Entrees were $10-15 more it seemed but previous reviews all spoke highly of the entrees and would want to try them if we visit again. The overall service experience was disappointing for us. Not for the demeanor of the staff but everything else... We had a decent size group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) and was fortunate to have a dining room to help the kids burn some energy while not bothering the other diners. However, from ordering to entrees to arrive was 45 very hungry minutes. It also took 20+ mins just to get drinks. Once the food arrived, they also were short two of the kids meals which was thankfully corrected quick. We then were somewhat "gently" being asked to wrap things up by 3 staff members in 10 mins making the rounds to clear plates and any to go containers. We all understand the business in the food industry and turning tables, and trust me, after an hour from arriving to food on the table we wanted to get home for bed time. However, really sours the experience and would not advocate going here with large groups.... Between the kitchen and staff I can't say you'd have a guaranteed good time.

The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.
