We went for my sister's birthday and had a reservation. The owner was very clear that he had private party at 630 however he had a nice space for us at 4pm. I noticed how he greeted everyone that walked in with a handshake and as we were leaving he came out in the rain to make sure we had a good experience. I have never seen this level of customer service before and will 100% be back soon.

It was Sunday, a little on the early side, so the bar was wide open. Hubby opted for his signature drink: a very dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. I went with my favorite drink at The Social House - LaLa Lemon: malfy lemon gin, lemon sorbet, lemon zest, mint leaf. Both cocktails are absolute perfection! Next time, we are definitely going to try their signature cocktail - The Jungle Bird (served in a cage): bumbu rum, campari, amaretto, lime, pineapple, brown sugar, pineapple wedge. I'm soooo curious about this concoction!

They do not have mixed drinks. I tried the Veal Parmesan and was very pleased with it. The veal was tender and it tasted like it was baked instead of fried. The sauce was excellent they used fresh cut mozzarella. Instead of pasta, he served it with herb roasted potatoes and fresh roasted Brussels. Every part of it was excellent. We also tried a thin crust pizza with prosciutto and asked him to put buffalo mozzarella on it, which was a game changer. The pizza was excellent as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will return to try more of the unique menu.

The food is fantastic and far better than you would expect for a lounge. Primarily Italian food, the chef executes everything to perfection. They have a basic menu of appetizers, sandwiches and charcuterie, and every week the chef has a different entree menu with five or six items on it. The chef is so good, I am wondering why he isn't cooking for a big restaurant. Well, at least here he has control over the quality of the food. If you are in Rhode Island, stop by for a meal and a drink between 4 pm and 9 pm and thank me later.

Upon entrance is a doorman who is so friendly and accommodating! He found us an open table and checked on us throughout the night. The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.

This dive bar with its brightly lit sign and vintage decorations stands out among its competition on Main Street in EG. The bartenders were super responsive even though it was a full bar.
