Cole slaw was very good. Fries were decent. The service was very good. The team seemed very motivated and efficient. This was very nice to see. This is counter service. Order and sit. Fast food style seating tables were dirty and none were wiped down in the 40 minutes while we were present. They have a bucket for doing this on the top of the trash barrel....self service too?? Walking in, you're greeted by the smell and sound of fried chicken. I came for one thing- The Spot with chicken, white rice, and white sauce. I came, I saw, I conquered! I ordered and in less than a minute I had my food and drink (The Spot comes with a bottled drink). The meal hit the spot!! Chicken is flavorful!!!! The salad compliments the rice and chicken. One thing- ask for extra sauce if you are a sauce lover. I wanted to try as is, but will ask for extra next time. Service was on point. The young lady at the register was kind and welcoming. I've had food from here 4 times. The first time they let us know that they didn't have biscuits, so they offered additional chicken, which was fine. The second time they didn't have biscuits, didn't let us know, and we got dinner rolls instead. Disappointing. The third time they did have biscuits and we got them. Seems like a luck situation whether or not you get biscuits from a place called "USA Chicken and Biscuit". Alas. This fourth time, we called ahead to make sure they had biscuits before ordering online. Chicken, tasty subs, burgers, two different kinds of fries, and all at very affordable prices! Okay. Lemme stop sounding like some corny infomercial for a minute and come back to earth. Basically, my wife and son got the buffalo chicken sub and burger, respectively. I got a Philly cheesesteak. When I first bit into the cheesesteak, I thought it was gonna be a 7 out of 10 situation. But then....something really strange happened. It's like...the more I bit into this sub, the better it got. They did this really unexpected thing where, by the time you got to the end of the sandwich, the bread had this delectable, toasty, buttery taste to it. In short, a lot of the flavor rests in the toasted bun, American cheese and middle part of the sub. Unfortunately, the onions weren't exactly sautéed, but...I'll let it slide. Like I said, it's weird. But....a good weird. The steak itself could have been seasoned more, which is why I originally thought this would be like a 7. But it's more like an 8, so....good job, C&B. *gently head-pats restaurant* Everyone else loved their food, too. I should mention though....I sampled the wife's potato wedges to see how they'd compare to the regular fries I had. Let's just say next time around, I'm getting me some wedges. They reminded us of the ones KFC used to sell before they inexplicably eliminated them from their menu. Even the boxes these things came in looked reminiscent of KFC's. Are they.....are they being ironical? I dunno. Perhaps I'm reading too deeply into this. Let's move on. One final thing for those who might be wondering: yes, we ordered delivery again. And yes, it was also rather cheap, which was a refreshing change of pace. All in all, this was shockingly one of the best dinner decisions we ever made this week. Located on the corner I found easy parking on my way there. I had just skied all day at sunapee and I was looking for a non chain inexpensive meal. The staff is very friendly and I ordered a spicy fried chicken sandwich with a side of fried for about 12 bucks all in. They cooked to order and let me know when it was done..very hot and warm. The chicken was ok quality but low on spice and a little over cooked. The fries where standard but again over cooked with a touch of the taste of the oil. Despite bringing this to the attention of the manager, I was met with reluctance to address the issue or provide a refund. So why not order both, which is exactly what I did. Now I agree with my friends "the spot" was amazing. Really good chicken and sauce on a bed of mixed spicy and regular rice. I went with the mix but you can get one or the other when it comes to rice. So that is definitely something I would order again. Now when it came to the fried chicken I wouldn't say it wasn't anything too special but it was good. Their biscuit was really hard so a good 30% of it I didn't eat. But the chicken dipped into the mashed potatoes it's always good. The place was small and located on a busy street which was nice and the staff was really friendly over the phone and in person. Overall, I'd say this place was really good and I will definitely come again to try out whatever else they have on the menu. When you're a grad student like me, sometimes you just don't have time to cook OR it's late at night, you just finished studying and there's nothing open. Luckily, I can always count on this place (no matter what time of day honestly) to serve up some good eats until 1am on the weekdays. It's also home to the perfect drunk food - fried chicken, fries, gyro rice platters, etc. 5/5 stars for their Jamaican beef patties. I love the beef patties so much, I pushed my review up to 4 stars. Omg these things are savory and DELICIOUS. They are basically like meat pies or empanadas. The meat is seasoned well and the shell has the perfect texture. I always make sure to order one of these whenever I stop by here. 2.5/5 stars for their chicken. Their fried chicken is their most popular item but is a hit or miss. It really depends on which piece you get or which day you go but if you order say...3 pieces of fried chicken then maybe 1 of the pieces is a bit on the dry side. The dark meat pieces are generally always on point. I like the flavor of the skin and the crispy-ness of the fried skin though. It's far from the best fried chicken I've ever had but for the Manchester area...it satisfies the fried chicken cravings until I can go back home to the south for some real fried chicken. I prefer to go for their fried wings. The breading is tasty and the meat isn't dry on those. Fries are solid. It's hard to mess up fries. Everything was packed on a Saturday night and we wanted some tasty food fast, so we came here and were eating within minutes. I had The Spot which is basically like halal style chicken/beef with rice. Absolutely delicious, I don't think I've had this dish better anywhere else.
