I am mainly only giving 3 stars for the banana split! It was amazing!!! The food we ordered was nothing special. The club tasted like someone poured salt on it. My sons peanut butter and jelly was cut with a dirty knife and had something orange on it? The waitress wasn't the most pleasant but the banana split was amazing! We got a regular sized one and 2 kids and 2 adults shared! I won't be back for food but I will probably stop and get a desert again! We are local and had stopped eating there for the poor quality of food but thought we would give it another chance and it hasn't changed! read more

Cute little throw back diner. Good variety menu (in addition to sandwiches and burgers). Kids menu and dessert menu. The have a juke box with some good tunes. I was impressed with the community involvement. The day were there they had had a Saint Patrick day community fundraiser of some sort. All the staff were wearing some sort of green. Our waiter was a hoot he looked like a hip leprechaun. Sorry to say the portions are plentiful enough that we didn't get to try any of the scrumptious looking desserts. You could eat at Shoney's, Cracker Barrel, IHOP or another chain or you could come to The Diner where portions are large and the value is fair. This isn't a chain. We had great service, but have to admit we were one of only two tables filled. The omelet actually had food in it. It wasn't just a egg flopped over with cheese and tiny chunks of meat in it. Two of us had the Wyoming and it was filled with bacon, veggie, cheese etc. And, the omelet with ham my friend has was loaded with ham! Much different than what'd you'd expect from a chain. Good, solid performance. Bowl of chili was tasty and HUGE, unless you're starving, order the cup. I had breakfast for lunch, standard fare; nothing to write home about. This place is one of the best diners I've ever been too. The atmosphere is amazing and the servers are so nice and on the ball! I had the turkey burger exactly how my waitress said she orders hers and it was the best turkey burger I've had. You have to try the desserts menu! Everything is great! I ordered a chocolate malt and my waitress made me one with that filled the glass to the brim and even brought me over the rest to finish off lol. My daughter got a scoop of strawberry ice cream and asked for sprinkles and they delivered with extra! Definitely check this spot out!! read more

We have driven by this place a hundred times and never stopped. We were looking for a good hamburger joint and thought we would give it a try. DRISA was our waitress and was very friendly. I ordered the classic cheeseburger and fries and my wife got the mushroom burger. The burger was cooked perfect, and had that flavor of an old greasy spoon restaurant. ( I mean that in a good way!). I would give the hamburger a score of 7.5 out of 10. Almost an 8 but not quite there. Fries were average, nothing to write home about. My wife had the mushroom burger and gave it a 7 to 7.5. She said it was very good. We will definitely stop by again someday when we are craving an old fashion hamburger. read more

Great breakfast spot on the way out of Gatlinburg. I loved the 1950's style diner theme! I had the Diner's Sevierville Skillet with sausage patties, scrambled eggs and home fries and it was delicious. I highly recommend doing the half skillet rather than the full entree portion as it is huge! It comes with a side of mini pancakes that were also tasty. Great coffee served as well! read more

Based on some of the reviews we read we were a little hesitant to eat here but we decided to try it. We were very pleasantly surprised. Service was good even though they were real busy. We both had breakfast and it was great. My wife said the bacon was some of the best she has had. I had the omelet and pancake. The omelet was good but the pancake was excellent. We wanted to stop after seeing the Christmas lights at the stadium. We got out at 8:15 and tried to open the doors and they were locked. A family walked up while we were standing there and said they already had a person inside sitting down. A worker came to open the door and let them sit down but told us they closed at 8:30 when the door said "9:30" and Google says "9:30". We were quite mad because it isn't fair to let them sit down but not another family. We drove around for another 15-20 minutes trying to find somewhere and only found out that Chick-fil-a was open. read more

While on vacation (10/13/20-10/16/20) we ordered online from here. After placing the order I received a phone call from Adam saying our order was accidentally canceled could we place it again and that our card wouldn't be charged for the first order. When we returned home we seen that our card had been charged twice by this place. I reached out to the owner and she said that she would refund us the money. We stopped in here for breakfast. Our server was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean. The pancakes were heavy and the syrup was not very good which was my husband's breakfast. Very different/fun place to eat, especially being with kids. We went in at 6ish, which I understand is a perfect time before the big rush after water park nearby and Dollywood close. Our food was great: mushroom burger, bacon cheeseburger and spaghetti and meatballs. My burger felt like it needed more condiments but it was still good. Our waitress could have been a bit more friendlier, didn't seem like she was having the best day. She gave us the wrong bill, but no big deal. if you're gonna order here, go inside don't get takeout. we ordered takeout at this place on our vacation and we go inside to pick up our food and tell them we placed an order for takeout and they go "Ok" didn't even ask for a name. I can see clear as day my friends and i takeout on the counter so i figured it'd be quick. wrong. like stated they didn't ask for our name and walked away from the counter so we sat there with a huge crowd of people for 15 minutes. 15 minutes exactly. The first time we went there about a year ago, the food was wonderful - my Reuben was literally the best I have ever had. We've visited it twice since Covid has hit and it's like a totally different place. I got the reuben again the first time back and it was barely edible. Two eggs, either two bacon or two sausage, and two pieces of toast - here's the kicker - for less than $4!! You get a great breakfast for less than what you'd spend on a Starbucks coffee. You can add grits to the meal for a slight upcharge. The service was great, the coffee was tasty, and the food was delicious. We discovered this little gem while taking a staycation in Pigeon Forge. The ambiance is super fun and inviting. The waitresses dress to theme and even though it was later in the evening the service was great. They have a wonderful menu and offer a great selection of foods at reasonable prices for a tourist area. The food was full of flavor and everyone in our group was happy with what they had purchased. The reason I gave 2 stars and won't be back is because the woman that "greeted" us at the front door was rude and hateful. The way she was talking to people that were waiting to be seated when we walked up to pay was unbelievable. She was standing behind the counter yelling at multiple groups and shaking her finger at them and telling them to wait outside. If she had spoken to us with that tone of voice when we came in we would have left . When we payed she was complaining and never even made eye contact. We found this place on yelp and read the reviews. Boy these people that wrote good reviews must have zero taste buds. The food was awful, the waitress we had needed to take some Ritalin. She talked so fast none of us even knew what she was saying. Then we placed our order and she was totally going to not take my order and pay more attention to my husband and son. Feeling fine until my daughter and I decided to dine here after a long road trip. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and asked for horse radish. After delivering my sandwich, the mail waiter went to the back and grabbed a little bottle of horse radish. This should've been a red flag not to eat it from the little bottle. Who knows how many people dipped from it using dirty utensils?? Again, first meal after a long road trip and decided to eat anyways. The very next day was a torture filled day and was pretty much bedridden. This diner completely ruined a mini vacation that I had planned with my daughter with their carelessness.
