The food was amazing. The service was pretty fast. The vibe was nice and after we ate we went to the big store next to the place.

The nicest friendliest cafe in Sevierville Tennessee. Located on Wears Valley Road, surrounded by beautiful foliage and flowers. We sat outside because of Freck, even though today is almost as hot as Florida. I ordered the mountain man omelet with hash brown casserole. So did Dave. It was large and delicious loaded with ham, bacon, sausage and cheese and veggies! The first time we came here on Saturday the place was packed outside. Michelle the manager and the staff moved tables to make sure we had a place to sit. Kim our server extraordinaire and made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was so kind to Freckles! We sat outside, enjoyed our breakfast in this beautiful mountain cafe!

Location and setting - excellent view on a hill overlooking US-321 with OUTDOOR seating. Dog friendly with attentive wait staff (Kim). Our 1st stop here was on Saturday morning. The hostess Michelle was exemplary in getting us seated with our Dalmatian. Great start! Our food comes out quickly as the kitchen was open as you walk inside (see pic). On Saturday my Elvira omelette was good but today's Mountain Man was the BEST. Not a gravy man (calories) it was enjoyed with Cholula. Pricing is decent and we got 10% discount by staying at Big Meadow Campground (Townsend) just down the road. How nice. Not being rushed and having plenty of parking (Harper Bros) makes this our 1st choice. We have a class C(30 ft) and this is a great place to start our day.

This place should be considered a hidden gem, this isn't a fast food restaurant, good food takes a bit to cook , it was delicious tho , the wait staff was quick and on point with their service, came to the table several times, place was very clean and cozy , not a super huge place but huge on experience, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for something different and off the daily strips

We were informed of Elvira's by our friend as a must. We unfortunately missed out on breakfast but were on time for them switching to lunch. Walking back to our table we passed patrons who had breakfast. I can't confirm of the flavor but the appearance alone was mouth watering. We will definitely have to come back for breakfast. Between the two of us, our lunch was an amazing grilled cheese sandwich with both bacon and ham and a roasted turkey sandwich. Our sides were regular and sweet potato fries. The food looked absolutely amazing and was delicious. The size of the sandwich was large enough for two. From our table we were able to look up into the mountain and down the valley. It was very peaceful.

This place is awesome great food and service Nice decor and fair prices for quality food

French toast, didn't even need the berries, it was very tasty

The food was delicious & the service was amazing, Our family breakfast for carry out, since we were traveling home to Indiana. My grandkids and I had the French toast with berries, hash brown casserole & turkey sausage... what impressed me the most was how well they treated us & the atmosphere.

I stopped here on my return trip home from Townsend for the half marathon that vacation races puts on. In fact I had finished running, showered and checked out of my room. The hotel clerk recommended this place for breakfast. I was starving! I unfortunately missed breakfast by 15 minutes, arriving at 11:15 on Sunday. They had some chicken tacos though that sounded pretty good. So that's what I ordered. The tacos ended up being just ok. I really had my mouth set for breakfast... I'll have to return to try their breakfast menu. The staff was super friendly, everyone. Even though they were somewhat busy I was seated fairly quickly and everything went smoothly. I enjoyed their outdoor seating!

Gordon Ramsey would consider it a threat. As a chewy bacon lover and enthusiast, when my bacon came out charred and demented, i was appalled to say the least. I had to drench it in the white gravy so it would give my stomach the illusion of chewy. Even then, even with the request of chewy, i was let down. The home fries were exceptional.. as exceptional as any other home fry you'll get on the Pigeon Forge strip. And why? They'll all the same refrigerated chips of processed mess. Soggy, not even crisp. So poor you'd hope the microwave would add additional flavors from all the other food they microwaved. I wouldn't even praise the food if paid me, it's sad enough i paid IT to taste like wet squeaky boots. But anyways the atmosphere was just bewildering! They have a big exhibit with birds you can watch. Sometimes they're loud and a bit squawk-y but it doesn't deplete the experience. This is my internal conflict with a certain drink on the menu. The Monster. This satanic abomination soup of a beverage really tempted me. I drink energy drinks and was excited to try a Monster! I mean.. we're all a little adventurous deep down.. human nature! Wrong. Apparently.. With full fledged confidence.. as much as you'd expect at a busy bar playing BINGO.. I asked the waitress for a Monster energy drink. Big. Mistake. I get it.. I took an unsuspecting picture of the beast waiting.. opened it.. and took a sip. If you were to ask me, giving somebody a pedicure with your MOUTH would taste no different than a can of this monstrosity. Maybe I recommend the restaurant.. but I don't recommend the Monster. Don't be fooled by the big print image of the can on the menu. Restaurant - 6/10 Demon Soup In An Aluminum Can - 2/10

It was 12:00 & dining room was mostly empty. The Benedict sauce tasted like melted margarine & was pretty thick too. One of my eggs was totally boiled, meaning no runny yellow. The other egg was just barely runny. The Canadian Bacon was NOT real. It was some sort of sliced & spiced luncheon meat that tasted horrible. I asked the waitress for some butter for my grits, and she said "more butter?", as if it was fine the way it came, and what is wrong with me:-( The shrimp on the Po Boy was NOT Blackened. No spices what-so-ever. The french fries that came with it, were the best part of that meal:-( Our waitress, Becca M, avoided eye contact with us the entire time we ate, and remember, the place was over half empty. Once we were finished eating, she came over, after waiving her down, and asked how our meal was. We reported to her the unsatisfactory meal but we ate it because we were on a quick break from work & needed to hurry. We did not have time for a 2nd breakfast to be cooked. She picked up the bill & asked us to wait a minute. She returned after a while & told us she removed the charges for the two iced teas! So, we paid $35. for two people to have a crummy meal while on a quick break from work. FINALLY - we are so sick of those horrible metal chairs in the dining room. They hurt most people's outer legs/hips & do not encourage a customer to relax & be comfortable. In the past, the food was so good, we would just over look the chairs, but after today's horrible food & the lack of anyone caring about our visit, we won't be using our hard earned money to eat crummy food & be uncomfortable. FYI: after removal of our iced tea, our meal was $29.90, we did include a $5.00 tip.

For once in Pigeon Forge, I have ate something that actually tasted distinguishable. If you blind-folded me and had me take a bite out of different burgers from different burger joints, I could guess this one with no hesitation. However, one notable throw-off i had was that the burger had a weird aftertaste of tuna. I ordered the smash burger and it had the perfect amount of grease that doesn't drench you, but keeps up with freshness and taste. And the reason I wanted to write this review was for the french fries. Tired of soggy fries? This place puts the FRY in french fries. They maintained a delicious level of crunch and crisp (if that's your gusto) and didn't have that same refrigerator taste. I also ordered cheese curds and they had the most amazing cheese pull and tasted great! The service was excellent too, unlike some servers, they don't abandon you and they keep up with you and refills / clearing the table. If there's anything I appreciate more, it's waiters and waitresses that (even if they don't) act like they cherish their job! And if you yearn for a setting that makes you in the mood for adventure.. or a bear lover.. this place has attracting visuals so you aren't trapped in a minimalist setting. Overall, if you're up for trying new flavors and advancing your taste buds' vocabulary, I recommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern!

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..
