I started with the mimosa flight (blueberry, peach, and mango) and let me tell you these mimosas do not mess around. They were strong, fruity and so dang good. Perfect way to kick off brunch! Our waiter recommended we try the dip trio to start and we're so glad we did. Every bite was packed with flavor. For my main dish, I got a little creative and ordered the chicken & waffles smothered in sausage gravy- yup, you read that right. And let me just say: don't knock it till you try it. The chai is PERFECT so good I had it twice. The cottage sauce was the star of the fried green tomatoes. I found them not breaded enough. But they tasted delicious. I had the classic eggs Benedict with home fries it was great. My husband had the steak and eggs, which was less great. The steak was cooked well except that it was in the shape of a cake slice, an oblong shape rather than a medallion. He says it was mid. Love that they open early! I had the avocado toast and an iced hazelnut latte. Hubs had the chicken and waffles and a hot caramel latte. No complaints at all. The coffee was very good, and I tried the bananas fosters French toast for food. It was yummy, but nothing really stood out in particular. So I heard this place had really good fish and chips that were truly authentic and true to form for something you would find in England or Europe Had the chips and gravy and they were quite yummy the fish and chips come out hot and delicious. She was super nice & had great recommendations & generally seemed to enjoy being there! We all got omelettes & they were all great! Those home fries are seasoned so well & are crispy! We went here 2 days in a row ( that's how yummy the food was)!! We went on a Saturday and Sunday so probably their busiest days. Both times we waited 20-30 mins never more. First day we got matchas and iced coffee (highly recommend the banana and coconut syrups!) plus the breakfast burrito was delicious and massive. We ordered pancakes to share and I'm still dreaming about their blueberry pancakes The second day we had a longer wait for the food and maybe because there was a new barista the lattes came at the end but still as delicious and we were not in a hurry. Visiting Pigeon Forge for our first time in many, many years. Wow, has this place changed. The Cottage is newer and close to where we stayed, so we checked it out. First thing I noticed when walking in were the colors, mostly greens and white, with many floral accents. It gave the vibe of a super clean, bright, comfortable spot. Many people were waiting but it was breakfast, which tends to be quicker. I think we waited 15 minutes. Great menu choices, including unique drink choices. I like a mimosa on vacation and they had a delicious lavender one, amongst others. We got the ham and cheese omelet with home fries, a side of biscuits and the pumpkin pie pancakes. All were very good. One note about the pancakes. They were regular pancakes with the "pumpkin pie" sweetness on top. This was fine. We have been to spots where the pancakes are made with pumpkin which gives a more full and connected flavor, in my view, but these were still good. Home fries were cooked well and the omelet was made well. Overall, very good. Savannah was a delight and very attentive, especially considering how busy they were. Bathrooms were very clean.
