We stumbled upon The Cottage in Pigeon Forge and WOW what a gem! This place deserves ALL the love. I started with the mimosa flight (blueberry, peach, and mango) and let me tell you these mimosas do not mess around. They were strong, fruity and so dang good. Perfect way to kick off brunch! Our waiter recommended we try the dip trio to start and we're so glad we did. Every bite was packed with flavor. For my main dish, I got a little creative and ordered the chicken & waffles smothered in sausage gravy- yup, you read that right. And let me just say: don't knock it till you try it. It was absolutely divine. Sweet, savory and comforting all in one bite. (Not on the menu, I asked for a side of sausage gravy) My husband went for the blueberry cheesecake pancakes and cleared his plate like it was a competition. The food, the drinks, the service- everything was on point. Trust me, run don't walk to this place before the word gets out. It's THAT good!

Really enjoyed this place for breakfast. While there are many breakfast options in the area, this spot was my favorite. Its a new spot on the strip open for breakfast and brunch. Many tasty items to choose from. We started with fried green tomatos which set the mood for the breakfast. Next had short rib omelet make french style, nice and fluffy. Never had it that way before but was really good. Accompanied by cut up potatos. Also tried the chocolate lovers and blueberry french toast whuch were very good. Blueberry slightly better. Paired my breakfast with a Cottage Mimosa. Overall great experience. The decor inside was very nice and the staff was so friendly and attentive. Recommended breakfast spot if you want a healthier option and good food.

Beautiful setting, like a fancy homey vide. Great price and options for breakfast like short ribs and egg and chimichurri on steak. Service from greeting to server to leaving was awesome! Great place to have an espresso martini for breakfast lol. Have been to other breakfast establishment near, but definitely rather come back to this one. The only thing for this visit would be to suggest more awareness on keeping coffee refilled.

Nice breakfast/brunch spot in the Pigeon Forge. It's a nice bright interior. A fun mimosa & cocktail menu. I liked the Tennessee Heat mimosa. We also got the brunch board, chicken & waffles, and chocolate chip pancakes on the kids menu. Our chicken in the chicken & waffles was really crunchy. It had a nice flavor. The cheese grits were great too. Service was good.

A cute upscale place in Pigeon Forge! The interior felt different than a lot of the other breakfast options, more French and bougie as opposed to the down-home brunch places nearby. The coffee was very good, and I tried the bananas fosters French toast for food. It was yummy, but nothing really stood out in particular. I wished the bananas were more bruleed and that the nuts were spiced more. The took our name down for the waitlist and we waited 45 mins for a party of two.

We decided to go to The Cottage for brunch on our first day of our vacation to the mountains. Staying in a cabin not far from Pigeon Forge, we are conveniently located to many cool brunch spots. This one caught our eye for today, so we went! We had a party of two, and were immediately seated upon arrival. The restaurants here are so big! They hold so many people, there never seems to be a wait! I'm used to the small restaurants all over Charleston, SC! I got the bananas fosters French toast. It was delightful. I wish there were more bananas and caramel sauce tho. There were too many nuts for my liking too. But overall, it was good. It looked so good that the woman at the table next to us asked me what the entree is called. She asked the server if she could get a small order of it. He told her it only came in one size. I knew I wasn't going to eat all mine, so I gave the lady a piece of my French toast. It comes with 4 half slices of French toast, which was a lot for me anyway! The woman seemed very grateful, and she liked it too. The restaurant looks like a giant modern farmhouse kitchen. It kind of has a First Watch vibe. It's clean looking. I'd go back here next vacay! I recommend!

Love that they open early! I had the avocado toast and an iced hazelnut latte. Hubs had the chicken and waffles and a hot caramel latte. No complaints at all. The staff were so friendly and hospitable, and the (I think) manager was hilarious. Very funny and jokey guy. Really enjoyed our meal and would love to go back next time we're in the area.

Awesome food! Clean and friendly environment. We only waited 20-25 minutes. Evan was our waiter and he was really great and helpful! The food was so delicious!! My family highly recommends this restaurant! From the hibiscus, honey and lemon tea to cappuccino with caramel to short ribs hash, I can't stop raving!!

The chai is PERFECT so good I had it twice. The cottage sauce was the star of the fried green tomatoes. I found them not breaded enough. But they tasted delicious. I had the classic eggs Benedict with home fries it was great. My husband had the steak and eggs, which was less great. The steak was cooked well except that it was in the shape of a cake slice, an oblong shape rather than a medallion. He says it was mid. The wait was manageable as we were willing to wait the half hour. The decor is gorgeous and I wouldn't be surprised if they moonlight as a ln even space

We went here 2 days in a row ( that's how yummy the food was)!! We went on a Saturday and Sunday so probably their busiest days. Both times we waited 20-30 mins never more. First day we got matchas and iced coffee (highly recommend the banana and coconut syrups!) plus the breakfast burrito was delicious and massive. We ordered pancakes to share and I'm still dreaming about their blueberry pancakes The second day we had a longer wait for the food and maybe because there was a new barista the lattes came at the end but still as delicious and we were not in a hurry. Overall both days service was kind, patient and a good vibe! I think this restaurant is a nice addition to the area and has healthy alternatives that were not here before.

The food was excellent, the service was on point and the decore was very pretty. The only thing I didn't care for was the noise level. I had biscuits and gravy and it was delicious!

Tried this new place for brunch. The food was really great! The restaurant is bright and airy and clean. Our server was great! She was super nice & had great recommendations & generally seemed to enjoy being there! We all got omelettes & they were all great! Those home fries are seasoned so well & are crispy! The portion sizes are literally just right! Prices reflect the quality of the food. My only complaint of this place is that the restroom could be cleaner. Other than that the food & the service are outstanding and we'll be back! Make sure you join the waitlist online before you go, on a Sunday morning during off season there was about an hour wait.

If you looking to start your morning off with a bright and relaxed type of breakfast, this is the place to go. While the name of the restaurant doesn't give a cottage feel, it certainly gives family vibes. The food has been consistently good! The one thing that could set the overall experience to 5 stars would be the service. While the food and ambiance screamed welcome and get comfortable, the service whispered it. When it comes to the menu, I don't know if you will make a wrong choice.

They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. This is a fun little place that's great for families, for sure.

I ordered the traditional schnitzel (pork cutlet that was pounded thin). It was not breaded, but it was coated with egg and flour and prepared well. I told him it was my birthday and that I had wanted coffee and cake. He took the bill and crumpled it in his hand. The portion of cake that he presented could have easily served three! I left the top frosting. The chocolate cake was moist and the frosting between the layers was German chocolate. Available seating offerings were a booth, table, or a table al fresco. It had the beer garden appeal. I opted to sit inside. The restaurant is also very family oriented (as are most things in Pigeon Forge). Prices were reasonable, food was served at the correct temperature, portions were prodigious. The venue was also immaculate. I would recommend this tavern to anyone who appreciates German fare.

Never have I really ventured outside of that and I couldn't actually tell you why. When my kids and I made a quick 1 day Dollywood trip over to Pigeon Forge, 23 we're looking for a place to eat prior to the big day at the park. What's funny is I relied in Googles AI (Gemini) to tell me where to go. I was driving around and was asking for recommendations. It said Mama's Farmhouse was a popular place to eat for families and it was all-you-can-eat. The kids wanted fried chicken and Salisbury steak, which was in the menu for that day. What a coincidence! If I could summarize it, this is basically a local Cracker Barrel-style restaurant but the food is a lot better. It's tucked away off of a side road off of the main highway 321 road and reminds me a lot of the Applebarn Restaurant down the road. The ambiance is this old timey feel, like many of the establishments around the area. The fried chicken (bone-in), chicken tenders, fries catfish, and Salisbury steak was what we ordered for our mains. Everything was delicious! The seasoning had the perfect amount of salt across all the dishes and sides. The chicken was juicy and tender. The Salisbury steak was solid, some of the best I've ever had. Savory, rich brown gravy, and tender chunks of beef. All the sides were amazing too, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and chicken and dumplings. The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.
