The chai is PERFECT so good I had it twice. The cottage sauce was the star of the fried green tomatoes. I found them not breaded enough. But they tasted delicious. I had the classic eggs Benedict with home fries it was great. My husband had the steak and eggs, which was less great. The steak was cooked well except that it was in the shape of a cake slice, an oblong shape rather than a medallion. He says it was mid. The wait was manageable as we were willing to wait the half hour. The decor is gorgeous and I wouldn't be surprised if they moonlight as a ln even space

Nice breakfast/brunch spot in the Pigeon Forge. It's a nice bright interior. A fun mimosa & cocktail menu. I liked the Tennessee Heat mimosa. We also got the brunch board, chicken & waffles, and chocolate chip pancakes on the kids menu. Our chicken in the chicken & waffles was really crunchy. It had a nice flavor. The cheese grits were great too. Service was good.

Love that they open early! I had the avocado toast and an iced hazelnut latte. Hubs had the chicken and waffles and a hot caramel latte. No complaints at all. The staff were so friendly and hospitable, and the (I think) manager was hilarious. Very funny and jokey guy. Really enjoyed our meal and would love to go back next time we're in the area.

A cute upscale place in Pigeon Forge! The interior felt different than a lot of the other breakfast options, more French and bougie as opposed to the down-home brunch places nearby. The coffee was very good, and I tried the bananas fosters French toast for food. It was yummy, but nothing really stood out in particular. I wished the bananas were more bruleed and that the nuts were spiced more. The took our name down for the waitlist and we waited 45 mins for a party of two.

We decided to go to The Cottage for brunch on our first day of our vacation to the mountains. Staying in a cabin not far from Pigeon Forge, we are conveniently located to many cool brunch spots. This one caught our eye for today, so we went! We had a party of two, and were immediately seated upon arrival. The restaurants here are so big! They hold so many people, there never seems to be a wait! I'm used to the small restaurants all over Charleston, SC! I got the bananas fosters French toast. It was delightful. I wish there were more bananas and caramel sauce tho. There were too many nuts for my liking too. But overall, it was good. It looked so good that the woman at the table next to us asked me what the entree is called. She asked the server if she could get a small order of it. He told her it only came in one size. I knew I wasn't going to eat all mine, so I gave the lady a piece of my French toast. It comes with 4 half slices of French toast, which was a lot for me anyway! The woman seemed very grateful, and she liked it too. The restaurant looks like a giant modern farmhouse kitchen. It kind of has a First Watch vibe. It's clean looking. I'd go back here next vacay! I recommend!

Awesome food! Clean and friendly environment. We only waited 20-25 minutes. Evan was our waiter and he was really great and helpful! The food was so delicious!! My family highly recommends this restaurant! From the hibiscus, honey and lemon tea to cappuccino with caramel to short ribs hash, I can't stop raving!!

Tried this new place for brunch. The food was really great! The restaurant is bright and airy and clean. Our server was great! She was super nice & had great recommendations & generally seemed to enjoy being there! We all got omelettes & they were all great! Those home fries are seasoned so well & are crispy! The portion sizes are literally just right! Prices reflect the quality of the food. My only complaint of this place is that the restroom could be cleaner. Other than that the food & the service are outstanding and we'll be back! Make sure you join the waitlist online before you go, on a Sunday morning during off season there was about an hour wait.

We went here 2 days in a row ( that's how yummy the food was)!! We went on a Saturday and Sunday so probably their busiest days. Both times we waited 20-30 mins never more. First day we got matchas and iced coffee (highly recommend the banana and coconut syrups!) plus the breakfast burrito was delicious and massive. We ordered pancakes to share and I'm still dreaming about their blueberry pancakes The second day we had a longer wait for the food and maybe because there was a new barista the lattes came at the end but still as delicious and we were not in a hurry. Overall both days service was kind, patient and a good vibe! I think this restaurant is a nice addition to the area and has healthy alternatives that were not here before.

The food was excellent, the service was on point and the decore was very pretty. The only thing I didn't care for was the noise level. I had biscuits and gravy and it was delicious!

If you looking to start your morning off with a bright and relaxed type of breakfast, this is the place to go. While the name of the restaurant doesn't give a cottage feel, it certainly gives family vibes. The food has been consistently good! The one thing that could set the overall experience to 5 stars would be the service. While the food and ambiance screamed welcome and get comfortable, the service whispered it. When it comes to the menu, I don't know if you will make a wrong choice.

This was a great treat! Excellent service, thank you Freddie! The portions were satisfying and the food was delicious! So happy they had matcha for this West Coast girl and it was perfect. Thank you for adjusting the menu to accommodate the gf requests. This place is worth the wait in line to get in!

For once in Pigeon Forge, I have ate something that actually tasted distinguishable. If you blind-folded me and had me take a bite out of different burgers from different burger joints, I could guess this one with no hesitation. However, one notable throw-off i had was that the burger had a weird aftertaste of tuna. I ordered the smash burger and it had the perfect amount of grease that doesn't drench you, but keeps up with freshness and taste. And the reason I wanted to write this review was for the french fries. Tired of soggy fries? This place puts the FRY in french fries. They maintained a delicious level of crunch and crisp (if that's your gusto) and didn't have that same refrigerator taste. I also ordered cheese curds and they had the most amazing cheese pull and tasted great! The service was excellent too, unlike some servers, they don't abandon you and they keep up with you and refills / clearing the table. If there's anything I appreciate more, it's waiters and waitresses that (even if they don't) act like they cherish their job! And if you yearn for a setting that makes you in the mood for adventure.. or a bear lover.. this place has attracting visuals so you aren't trapped in a minimalist setting. Overall, if you're up for trying new flavors and advancing your taste buds' vocabulary, I recommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern!

Gordon Ramsey would consider it a threat. As a chewy bacon lover and enthusiast, when my bacon came out charred and demented, i was appalled to say the least. I had to drench it in the white gravy so it would give my stomach the illusion of chewy. Even then, even with the request of chewy, i was let down. The home fries were exceptional.. as exceptional as any other home fry you'll get on the Pigeon Forge strip. And why? They'll all the same refrigerated chips of processed mess. Soggy, not even crisp. So poor you'd hope the microwave would add additional flavors from all the other food they microwaved. I wouldn't even praise the food if paid me, it's sad enough i paid IT to taste like wet squeaky boots. But anyways the atmosphere was just bewildering! They have a big exhibit with birds you can watch. Sometimes they're loud and a bit squawk-y but it doesn't deplete the experience. This is my internal conflict with a certain drink on the menu. The Monster. This satanic abomination soup of a beverage really tempted me. I drink energy drinks and was excited to try a Monster! I mean.. we're all a little adventurous deep down.. human nature! Wrong. Apparently.. With full fledged confidence.. as much as you'd expect at a busy bar playing BINGO.. I asked the waitress for a Monster energy drink. Big. Mistake. I get it.. I took an unsuspecting picture of the beast waiting.. opened it.. and took a sip. If you were to ask me, giving somebody a pedicure with your MOUTH would taste no different than a can of this monstrosity. Maybe I recommend the restaurant.. but I don't recommend the Monster. I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.
