A great new breakfast spot in the area! There was no wait around 9am and the staff was friendly. Our waiter, Will, was very attentive and kind. I like that they serve alcoholic beverages and my mimosa was delicious! The South of The Border omelette was huge and tasty! My husband enjoyed that they serve lunch for breakfast too and he enjoyed his smash burger and fries. Definitely the place to go for great portions, no wait time, & quick service!

As a local content creator here in Gatlinburg The Gatlinburg Hussey, I highly recommend going here! I absolutely love the scrambled eggs and since I'm watching my diet, they didn't use a ton of butter

This is our first time coming to Tennessee and wanted to try a good breakfast spot. We were enjoying our food until realizing there's like lent and hair in our food. Then observing the atmosphere it seems segregated as if the waiters are sitting all of the black people on the opening area and the white people in house.

Love this place. The service was excellent. The menu really does have something for everyone and it's mighty creative as well for those who like things like funnel cake nachos.

    Chicken and waffles

Our first visit to Over Easy. The restaurant itself was clean and bright. No sticky nasty menus you would expect at a travel location. Service was prompt and courteous. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the stuff French toast with cream cheese pumpkin filling with a side of bacon. Bacon was fairly standard and good. The French toast was a good hefty portion with lots of filling. Chicken and waffles also a good portion. The waffle itself probably couldn't stand on its own as it didn't quite have the vanilla sweetness I would expect. The chicken by itself was crispy and had a good flavor but the hot honey was nearly undetectable. The French toast was extremely sweet and tasted wonderful but I'm a morning sweets person and that's what I expect. Overall I'd give this a solid "will visit again" and a good alternative to its sister restaurant next door Crocketts. We also had a shareable fried deviled eggs that were pretty good.

Great place casual fun environment with great drinks and food. Service is fast and the experience was great. I would recommend the pork skillet.

We visited Great Smoky National Park and wanted to grab a bite after. We settled on Over Easy Al's - very large interior, lots of seating, a bar and kitchy egg farm decor. The staff was right on top of things with fast service. The table ordered: corned beef hash - large chunks of bold corned beef was amazing (meat was a 4) but hard as a rock poached eggs, The server provided another poached egg but the yellow part must have fallen out because all I had was the white part. I wasn't going to ask for another. The breakfast sandwich with grits - a solid 4. The chicken salad croissant was ok and the Eggs Benedict was good but also had one poached egg that was absolutely over done. Asked for another one for the eggs Benedict and the second came out better. I think the cooks were in a hurry and didn't take the time to provide the proper way to poach an egg! The interior was clean and open.

Food and service was excellent. For a new breakfast place in Gatlinburg, I highly recommend it, our server Tania was the absolute best.

Unfortunately we got our days mixed up and our reservation was the following day. However the hostess told us it was not an issue and still seated us right away moving our booking to the correct day. The food came out in a timely manner and our server was very helpful as well. I ordered the seafood lasagna and it was very flavorful. Personally if I were to come back, I'd order another dish that was more filling. The server raved about how good it was and she was correct. It did have a lot of flavor to it. However it lacked seafood in the shells. At some points, I felt as though I was only eating shells and sauce with tomatoes unfortunately. Upon finishing our meal, unfortunately my father became ill after sipping water and going down the wrong pipe. We were so embarrassed seeing as though we were sitting in the middle of everyone dining. However the staff were so kind resulting us that it wasn't the first and dropping everything they were doing to tend to us with wet napkins and checking on my father. While we were deeply embarrassed, it really meant a lot to us that you all made us your priority in that moment and I greatly appreciate you alls service!

I shared a Crab Cake Po'Boy with hubs. The sandwich was a daily feature and huge. Really huge. And delicious. My brother had the Oyster Po'Boy that I highly recommend. I tasted the large succulent, hand breaded oysters. This is the sandwich that makes you want to make the trip to Gatlinburg. My daughter and SIL had a half Muffalatta sandwich, which was huge and fresh packed with olives, meats, cheese and other good stuff. The kids shared a fish platter which came with a huge fried white fish and home fries. They actually ate their whole plate. The kid's meals are awesome. This is possibly the best cafe in Gatlinburg. The owners make you feel like family, the food is awesome and the dining room is interesting and cozy. We took the trolly into town so we didn't have to deal with parking. Yes, it was packed--parking in Gatlinburg always is--but we lucked out with a prime spot just as someone pulled out. The wait looked intimidating, but it moved faster than expected, and the waiting area was cozy and warm, which we appreciated on a chilly night we were here for two things:the AYCE salad bar and the famous bear on the big screen--and both delivered. We started with a cup of the famous shrimp bisque, which was rich, flavorful, and comforting, with fresh-tasting shrimp throughout. The perfect cold-weather soup. The salad bar was a standout: fresh veggie, fruits, and even smoked oysters (a first for me and surprisingly delicious). Everything was well-stocked, clean, and neatly organized despite the dinner rush. The ambience is family-friendly and fun, the dining area (and restrooms!) were impressively clean, and service was excellent--shoutout to Ashley for being warm and accommodating. All that in all, a solid, healthier break from the usual indulgent Smokies fare. We'll definitely be back on our next visit in the offing.
