Bananas in pajamas

If you are looking for a unique and local breakfast, I would highly recommend Brick and Spoon! One tip I would say is to get on the online waitlist before you come! Once you order, service was extremely quick and the food was excellent! We loved the Bananas in pajamas appetizer, mountain chicks and the breakfast tacos! Everything was excellent!

From reviews & photos I was excited to give them a try. So glad we chose to eat our last meal from here. Kim greeted us upon walking through the door and waited on us too. She has such a delightful disposition., southern charm and so helpful. We genuinely felt so welcomed! It's a vibrant breakfast atmosphere with clever wall art and TVs lining all four walls. They have bar seating too. The menu has a mix of traditional breakfast, southern Cajun & Creole style flavors. I was amped for the Bayou Green Tomatoes and Crab Cake Benny. Kim recommended getting the bayou sauce on the side which allowed me to have with both dishes. My tastebuds were so happy! It was Exceptional flavors, well done cakes and the bayou sauce contained shrimp, peppers and onion which complimented everything. The bacon and poached eggs on my cakes were exactly to my liking. My mom's S.B.C. Omelette (no bacon; add mushrooms) was perfectly fluffy, seasoned. I loved this food so much I asked Kim to tell them we needed a franchise at home!

Wow....can I stop there... maybe not. We chose this place for breakfast because it didn't seem like the average pancake place. We made a great choice. The coffee was strong and hot which hit the spot I got the breakfast tacos, fried wonton filled with chorizo, cheese and some other levels of sunshine. Then a side of cheese grits that were creamy and hot. Service by Alexis M was on point. If you are not looking for the usual flapjack experience this is your destination.

Ooooof ..coffee is strong here! I had to add a ton of creamers but, it was great brew of coffee. And OMG ... great farmers benny. Look at my pic and see that perfect egg. They caramelized the veggies and it worked ..it just worked. My husband was adventurous and got the breakfast tacos, I was proud of him. He loved them. And you got to try their cheesy grits and add a few dabs of their homemade hot sauce. This was a great pick for us and we'll come back whenever we're back in this area. Super clean and friendly staff.

What a gem! A cute diner serving up fantastic food. Foodies, you need to check this place out! The Bloody Mary checklist will satisfy the pickiest of picky. Our server was super cute and very attentive. This will be our new go-to for our annual Pigeon Forge trip!!

Great chill atmosphere here. Service was fast and on point. Nicely decorated. I had the American Breakfast with toast instead of a biscuit. I like my bacon cooked a bit more, but it had good flavor. I like it more well done. My wife had the breakfast tacos which she enjoyed. I did not try them. A friend had the avocado toast with an egg on it and said that it was good. Another had the cobb salad and loved it. All in all, a good breakfast experience.

With so many wonderful options in the Pigeon Forge area to choose for breakfast we are super happy we chose Brick and Spoon! The variety of options on the menu allows everyone to enjoy their favorite foods for breakfast or brunch! We had a wonderful server unfortunately I missed her name that was very knowledgeable of the menu and punctual with service.

This is me making my rounds in the state of Tennessee review number 3 By the way Yelp needs to add a Half star system to this app. It would make reviewing place's alot more accurate. Brick & Spoon is a highly recommended spot for anyone seeking a taste of Southern comfort. The menu is diverse and offers something for everyone, from savory breakfast staples to decadent sweet treats. While the shrimp and grits could use some refinement, the overall quality of the food, combined with the excellent service and basic diner atmosphere, makes Brick & Spoon a definite must-visit. I eagerly anticipate my return to Tennessee to explore more of their delicious offerings. Key takeaways: * Must-try: Breakfast tacos and stuffed French toast. * Shrimp and grits: Enjoyable, but could use improvement in shrimp consistency and overall flavor depth. * Service: Excellent, with special thanks to Lakelynn L. You go girl!! * Atmosphere: Warm and inviting, perfect for brunch with friends or family. * Overall: Highly recommended

Whether you're a local or just passing through, don't sleep on Brick & Spoon. We ended up at Brick & Spoon on a whim after ditching a crowded restaurant where we were the only Black family and definitely felt it. But the moment we walked into Brick & Spoon, the energy shifted--welcoming, diverse crowd, zero weird stares, and best of all... no wait. Let's talk food: I had the breakfast tacos with cheese grits, bacon, and sausage. When I say top tier, I mean I seriously debated ordering the same exact plate to-go. That good. But here's where it gets miraculous: * My 11-year-old daughter, currently in her "I hate everything and everyone" era--cleaned. her. plate. * My wife, the queen of "this isn't right, send it back"--didn't just love her meal, she tried to steal mine. * My 82-year-old mother-in-law, who critiques everything like she's on "Top Chef: Gospel Edition"--couldn't stop raving. * My 2-year-old toddler, who usually turns restaurants into war zones--was CALM. Why? Because our awesome server (bouncer build, teddy bear heart) brought her a personal bowl of strawberries. She was quiet. She ate. We nearly cried. Huge portions, great prices (especially for Pigeon Forge), friendly staff, and an atmosphere that made us feel like we belonged. Brick & Spoon, you gave our family more than just a great meal--you gave us peace, joy, and full bellies. We'll be back. With elastic waistbands.

Farmers market eggs Benedict with fire roasted corn grits

Just finished an amazing breakfast at Brick and Spoon. We were greeted with smiles the minute we walked thru the door. The restaurant is contemporary and modern feeling in shades of grey, black, white and pops of red. Service was prompt and welcoming. The menu covers all the bases with some entertaining names like Bananas in pajamas (banana egg rolls with a Foster sauce and chocolate drizzle). Coffee was great and hot! My husband built his own breakfast choosing a sausage, egg and Gouda biscuit with a side of their fire roasted corn grits. He said everything was delicious. I had the Farmers Market Benedict. It was served with a side of their fire roasted fire roasted corn grits. This Benedict was massive! A mixture of zucchini, yellow squash, onions and mushrooms sat on top of a split English muffin and then topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise which is made in house. It was served piping hot and was incredible! I was only able to eat half of it. The grits were thick and contained pieces of corn. The only thing I added to them was a bit of butter. Great Christmas music playing at an enjoyable volume and cheerful, friendly service added up to totally delicious and enjoyable breakfast. We will be back.

In Pigeon Forge for Christmas break and was going to visit Sawyer's which is our normal spot for breakfast but the wait was 45 minutes. Hopped in Yelp and found this place, saw the photos and since we live trying new places, we hopped back in the car and took off. I joined the waitlist which is a huge perk! We were seated shortly after arriving and the place was full. As soon as a party got up and left, the table was promptly cleaned and a new party seated. Building isn't spacious but they make good use of the space. We were greeted and served immediately. Food was delicious and there is a good variety. Very fresh!

We grabbed breakfast at Brick And Spoon during a recent visit to Pigeon Forge. We came on a Friday morning around 9am and were seated right away. Started out with beignets and ordered a SBC Omelet and American Breakfast. Everything was phenomenal! This will be our go-to breakfast spot on future visits. Great ambiance, service and food!

Great Brunch spot! Food: Tasty and fresh. Everything we ate was well made. Ham & cheese omelette: super cheesy and well cooked. Banana Foster French Toast: delicious and not too sweet. The bread was nice and soft. It was a cool twist on French toast. Brick & Spoon Cheeseburger: juicy made to perfection burger Kids egg and bacon breakfast: perfect amount Drinks: Nice to have alcoholic drinks at brunch Mimosas flight: tasty and nice to try different flavors Service: very polite and prompt. We got seated right away. It was a week day so no wait. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. She made sure our water was always filled. Ambiance: clean and cute decorations for the holidays. They put attention to detail. Location: perfect, not too busy of an area and great parking.

The wait is worth it if you get there before 8 am. The omelettes had a lot of filling and were very good. The buckwheat pancake while thin had a really nice texture. The pot roast eggs Benedict was good but the biscuit is so thick and soft and the meat is soft that it would be better with an English muffin for a texture factor. People are frustrating--especially on vacation. But, if you are irritated, do not assume that you won't be understood. I speak 3 languages well and understand more. The wait was awful, but to be expected. And our waitress was helpful and friendly--though not super attentive. She was busy, though, not lazy. The food was decent. Not earth shattering. Bottom line...if you want BIG food. And you have 1.5 hours to wait for food...it is a great tourist spot. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The cinnamon roll bread is well done...but the flavor was tame and the glaze was not good. My son loved the Aretha Frankenstein pancakes. However, if you want good food, there has to be a better spot.

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.
