    Onion rings half order
    Lisy M.

I honestly wasn't impressed with this place. The atmosphere and seating were decent, and the service was good, but the food really missed the mark. Nothing we ordered seemed properly seasoned. The fried deviled eggs sounded amazing on the menu, but they were rubbery and overwhelmingly tasted like mustard. The only item that really stood out were the onion rings, which were actually very good. The wings were kinda soggy and not that flavorful either. The burger was just average, and the hot honey chicken sandwich was okay, but nothing memorable. Overall, the food lacked flavor and didn't live up to the hype. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

I love that this is a scratch kitchen and 99% of their items are made from scratch. I ordered the bison burger and it was delicious. My server was great and I had a great experience. I will say it was loud, which was fine for me but may not be ideal for others.

Make sure when you're in Tennessee you go to this restaurant. The wait time was 10-15 during dinner hours for a group of 4. Very spacious restaurant and very clean. Waitresses were very knowledgeable about the menu and provided honest recommendations. We sat across from a big bridal party but we still received timely service. Highly recommended the menu had plenty of choices between hand held to pasta and etc.

OMG! My wife and I both ordered the smoke house burger, mine with fries and hers came with mashed sweet potato. We both finished our huge plates, barely! These burgers took us on a trip to flavor town and the sides were also very good! I ordered an IPA with mine that also hit the spot. They have several locally made beers. This place is fantastic! My wife ordered crème brûlée and loved it. They also had a gluten free menu she appreciated.

Wow--where do I even begin? The Local Goat came up as one of the best restaurants in Pigeon Forge, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We were looking for something delicious but also with a fun atmosphere, and this place delivered on both. Our waiter was super friendly and helped us decide on drinks, appetizers, and entrées. We started with the deviled eggs, cheese fondue, and whiskey chicken wings. For our main dishes, we ordered the lamb burger and the BGT burger. I had never tried a tzatziki-style burger before, and wow--it was completely unique and so delicious. Every bite was incredible. My husband and I are huge foodies, and we were visiting from Miami on our honeymoon. We both absolutely loved everything and will definitely be back the next time we're in Pigeon Forge. What really stood out is that so much of the food and sauces are made fresh and locally each day--you can truly taste the difference. Highly recommend!

Local Goat was honestly such a great find while we were in town. It was pretty busy when we got there, but we were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The place itself was clean and had a really good vibe, and our server was super friendly and attentive. We started with the Bing Bang Boom shrimp, and wow! so good! The flavor was on point. The only thing I could've skipped was the wonton crisps on the side, but that's just personal preference. For my meal, I got the TN whiskey burger and... oh my goodness. That thing was HUGE and packed with flavor. Definitely one of those burgers you keep thinking about after the trip. The fries were great too, crispy and well-seasoned. Overall, easy 10/10. I'd honestly travel back to Tennessee just to eat here again.

From the food to the service everything here was just awesome. I had taken my son 9 and daughter 7mos out for a morning filled with activities so around 2:00 we were all hungry. I had seen Local Goat while driving a few times and really wanted to check it out. I am so glad we did. When we came in it wasn't super busy and we were seated right away. Our server came up to us and explained that it's a local chain with two locations and most everything was made in house, which is amazing. He quickly brought our drinks and took our food order. I got the burger with goat cheese and bacon Jam and my son got the kids chicken fingers. The food came out pretty fast and was nice and hot. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. My burger was huge. Not only was it plenty of food but it was delicious. The patty was well cooked and the goat cheese and the bacon jam complimented it really well. Everything on the burger was fresh and just well balanced. The bun was light and airy. I wish I could have eaten the whole thing, but thankfully the hotel has a fridge and microwave in the room so a perfect meal for later. My son was raving about his food. He absolutely loved it. Which, can be hard for him because sometimes he can be extremely picky. He loved the fries and the chicken fingers. I tried a bite of his chicken and it was juicy and had a nice crunch to it. Definitely, not the premade chicken fingers you often get for kids meals. Our server was awesome. He checked on us multiple times and brought me a refill on my soda before I had finished the first. It was our first time here but my son has decided it is now a must when we visit pigeon forge and wants to bring my husband back to show him a great place he found. I would definitely recommend this place for families or even for date night the food is delicious and fresh and the service is spot on.

Stopped in for lunch while in town for a volleyball tournament. My parents suggested this place and it was amazing. Their burgers had an awesome flavor along with all the fabulous toppings which make them even better. I had the pimento cheese burger which also had bacon jam on it and it was the perfect flavor combination. The fries were so good with their homemade ketchup which has just the perfect little kick to it. The buns have an everything g bagel seasoning on them which just adds to the tastiness. The restaurant is rather large with plenty of seating and we were sat right away with no wait. Several in our family added a side of ranch to dip their fries in and they all loved the homemade ranch.

We're traveling and came across this fantastic restaurant in Pigeon Forge. The food was great and Krystal and Derek in the bar area were amazing bartenders. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A solid choice for a lunch or dinner when in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Upon first glance, it looks like your typical pub style restaurant with new American fare. However this establishment dares to take risks like deep frying deviled eggs and making all condiments in-house, assuring a unique experience. On a busy Sunday, my party of 2 was seated immediately and our waitress made sure to explain the menu since it was our first time. For our entrees, we ordered the Billy burger and the farmhouse burger, both of which were cooked to perfection. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and piled high with toppings. The seasoned bun was a welcome surprise. If you like burgers, you can't go wrong ordering one with your favorite customizations. It was our first time, but won't be our last visit when we are in Pigeon forge on a future trip!

Went to Tennessee for a girls trip and this place was on our list of options and honestly was the best place we had all weekend! The inside is huge so don't let the packed parking lot discourage you. We were immediately seated upon walking in. Our server was amazing and swooned one of my friends lol. But the food is what is bringing me back here. Everything we tried was amazing and I went with a group of 5 gals with different taste buds. I had the TN Whiskey Glazed Burger with a side of onion rings and omg. The burger had sooo much flavor and was perfectly cooked to my liking. The onion rings were massive and battered to perfection. Everything came out fairly quickly and was so delicious! The portions are great and everything is decently priced for the location. Will definitely be my top spot when I'm in the PF area!

Family owned, friendly environment and cool merch! Maria did a phenomenal job. As soon as we told her it was our first time, she got excited for us to be there and gave us confidence that we will enjoy whatever we order. We absolutely did!! We got the spinach dip... okay so it comes with pico and sour cream. My boyfriend practically flipped the cup into his mouth of pico because it tasted that good! It was so fresh and the acidity was perfect. The spinach was good too lol He got the ribeye with baked potato and coleslaw. 10/10 he left no crumbs! The steak was cooked to perfection.... perfectly pink in the middle. Melted in your mouth with an incredible flavor! (I low key regret not getting a steak) I got a salmon Ceaser salad. It was massive and it was good. I'll say I wish I would have ordered something different. Nothing was wrong with it at all, I feel like I could have gotten this salad anywhere back home. But the steak..... the little piece I had left me wanting more!!! We absolutely did not have room for dessert and wish we did because they sounded so good!

Our server was friendly though there were a bunch of servers who stopped by our table overlooking the course of the night. All were pleasant, though our server asked us if we were there for a special event when we sat and we said no, then at the end of them meal he though it was my husband's birthday, but not in a "here a drink on the house" kind of way, just an awkward comment. I got the bone in pork chop which came on a serving shaved Brussel sprouts. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and very tender. Our server recommended we get a side, so we tried the truffle Mac and cheese, it was fine but not great-it was not all that cheesy though we could taste the truffle. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband's risotto with filet and mushrooms only had the scantest amount of filet and mushrooms though was very flavorful. When it arrived at our table it had sloshed all over the serving dish and the server said she was going to fix it it just went to the servers station (2 feet from us) and then came back a minute later-I'm not sure what exactly that fixed but the presentation certainly was not that of a dish that costs $50! I had the smoked Sazerac for my drink. It was nice and the cherry smoke imparted a great flavor though it's not supposed to be served with an ice cube. Additionally, the ice cube within was not clear or perfectly cubed. For a $22 cocktail, this was a miss in my book. I had the crème brûlée for dessert and they strangely put very wet strawberries on the brûlée. I only got a very small space that I could attempt to crack the brûlée. It tasted delicious, though the strawberries really should have been served on the side. Between courses, a bear walked up the river which was an exciting development. This restaurant is beautiful and perfectly situated on a scenic river.

Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..

I wish it was better but felt I needed to write this review because most of the other reviews are extremely misleading. I've had some amazing BBQ in several different states and this place was a total disappointment. Brisket was wet and mushy with an almost taco seasoning flavor. It did not come sliced. It had no crust or char on the outside. It came almost with the same consistency as a wet and greasy pulled pork. It had no Smokey Flavor and it did not have any BBQ flavor, at all. Mac N Cheese was flavorless and I would venture to say it came out of a can. The noodles were extremely mushy. There was no "pull" to the cheese, indicating real cheese wasn't used to make it. It had no flavor; not even salt. Baked beans were the best part of the meal and they were just okay. They truly reminded me of a canned baked bean. I wound up throwing my entire meal in the trash. I did not want to waste the calories/ fat/ carbs (macros) eating it. Would not recommend the 3 items i purchased, at all. This was by far, the absolute worst Brisket and worst Mac N Cheese I've ever had.

Our server was not only fast…read moreand friendly, he told us how some of the food was prepared and gave us tips on how to eat it! You are going to get apple fritters, applewood juleps, and soup, on the house before you even order! He told us you should dip the fritter in the apple butter, then take a drink of the julep to get the best flavors! The fritters were so good, I was actually already full after them and the soup but..... I had the Country Chicken Salad for my entree. I may have also tasted the Mac and cheese, and the mashed potatoes! Yum to everything! Everyone was so completely full after the meal. Come here hungry! The whole restaurant was adorable and right outside are many more fun apple-themed stores to visit!

The grill is part of a campus of Apple wood buildings: a creamery, a general store, a Christmas…read moreshop, etc. The grill itself, like the nearby restaurant, has a number of smaller rooms with about ten to twenty tables in each room. The grill, for what it's worth, is where you order individual plates; at the restaurant, you order your entree and then sides for the table to share. Menu is about the same for each. Some food items were great: namely, the entrees. Wings, chicken, and catfish were all terrific. The sides were so-so: the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of can. Not terrible, but not great. The fritters are delicious, as one might expect. Service was okay. Our server was quite quiet and not very talkative, but she got what we needed. The atmosphere is very southern, country-ish. Lots of rocking chairs outside to sit and talk about catching up on your meal. It's an enjoyable experience. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but it was a pleasant experience. It would especially be good if you have a large group who enjoys each other's company and isn't in any hurry. There is a lovely river across the street, though you don't have much a view of it; the big parking lot is between the grill and other buildings and the river.
