We stopped in here on our recent trip to the area as it has an outdoor dog friendly patio option and we were traveling with our Frenchie. It took a bit for our server to come acknowledge us but once he did, he was very helpful and attentive. My boyfriend ordered a peach Kentucky mule (they originally said they couldn't make that, which we questioned with it being a distillery, but our server came back and said they could after all). He enjoyed it and said it's one of the better ones he's had! We both ordered smash burgers and sweet potato fries - I had the junction 35 (pimento cheese + bacon jam) and he had the farmhouse (bacon + fried egg). Both were amazing! Juicy burgers, perfect size patties for smash burgers, the buns were fresh and held up nicely, and the toppings were great. Sweet potato fries had a great crunch and were seasoned really well. Service was great, food was high quality and had great flavor, and the dog friendly patio was perfect for our pup. It's located in a nice little strip of shops and restaurants, and has a common area of cornhole and other games that would be fun for an activity before/after dinner, or if you have kids in tow. Visiting the smokies is my favorite and every time we go I like to try something new. Well after searching for some dinner we came across this place and the reviews were good so we gave it a shot. Let's start with the good! Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The atmosphere was good as well. It was a nice vibe with the TVs and the large projector screen. They had one of the World Cup matches on so that was nice. My husband and I both order old fashions. He order the espresso and I ordered a smoked one. By far one of the best I've ever had. We had the fried green tomatoes and they were tasty, a little more pimento would have made them perfect. Now the bad. I'm not sure what all the other folks ate that left such great reviews, but I can only assume that none of them had the brisket Mac and Cheese. Because it was cold and there was zero flavor. I literally had to use the BBQ sauce to get some flavor in the food. The Mac and cheese tasted like the old school powder Kraft. Well we went back and had fried pickles for our appetizer. They were just ok. They got rid of my favorite sausage sandwich so I had a new hot dog that they had added to the menu. We did a tasting with a group of 10 people and was able to ask about it not being at the bar as I did one before at a sugarlands and it was a different set up. They were able to accommodate us almost immediately. This was a free tasting so tips were suggested. We did go to the bar and grabbed a few additional samples that were not offered prior. We did get food with a smaller group. It took an hour to get our main meal and luckily we ordered appetizers to help with the wait. Both the fried pickles and brisket nachos were delicious. Great food, great service, amazing atmosphere! Our wait was about 30 minutes when given a 1hr time frame. So I'd wait it out if you truly want to try this place. It's worth it. I have visited this restaurant twice now and unfortunately the second visit wasn't as good as the first! The food wasn't prepared as well as the first time and the Bam Bam martini I had the year before was no longer on the menu - actually only one cocktail included the Bam Bam vodka which is surprising since it's a best seller. We did eat outside and with a big group the second time which might have contributed to the difference in service compared to the first time. I like that they still offer a discount in a tasting with receipt of eating at the restaurant and I will still give them another chance, but I do hope it improves next year since it was such a highlight the time before! read more

Not impressed with this place for the food. My pretzel bites were so oily and soaked in butter I had to dry each of them out with a napkin before I could eat them. I couldn't finish them, made my stomach sick. Not many selections for their draft beers. I settled on a brown ale that was pretty good. Service was great though. Very accommodating. After a day of being around screaming children at Dollywood we were sat by a table full of more screaming kids lol, and asked to be moved which they completely understood. Outside of this restaurant is a big field for kids to play, so that means parents dump them there and come here to drink. That also means the kids come in and out on their own so expect that on a Saturday night. Now if you go to the other side for the whiskey and moonshine tastings, and if you're into that, then you'll love this place so I added an extra star for that part. Burgers took an extremely long time to be served. One burger was supposed to have sautéed onions, it did not. Both burgers were to have a sauce, neither did. Neither burger was hot, they were warm at best. They also were not smash burgers. They weee thin chargrilled. That or they were just burnt. We ordered and unfortunately the meal I ordered was out of stock, which we were informed about 10 min after we ordered. This was what I had my mind set on so I had a hard time picking a back up. Went here last weekend for a tasting and lunch. The tasting was delightful and just required a tip. The person performing the tasting was super knowledgeable and welcoming. The restaurant was not busy, but they seem to have a shortage of servers and so we were seated at the bar. The bartender was very kind but slammed. My partner got wings and they brought them over before I got my salmon salad. We could see the salad sitting on the line for 15+ minutes before we were able to fly somebody down to get it so by then it was cold. They did takeoff a part of the cost of the salad so I appreciated that. I think it would've tasted wonderful hot, but it was mediocre cold. This a really fun spot for tourists and locals! There's a large parking lot for this plaza with many things to do including eating at Junction 35 spirits. The kids will enjoy a cute little train that goes around the courtyard. You can play cornhole and watch fun events around you prior to going to eat or shop. We arrive for dinner on the early side and we're seated right away. Although we didn't partake in any of the spirits, we did get some burgers for the table. Our waitress was Karen. This was such a fun experience from start to finish. Our server was fantastic and gave great food recommendations, and we were treated to a complimentary tasting since it's the first distillery/restaurant in Knoxville. I had the grilled shrimp skewers and the Nashville hot chicken both solid choices while the cheese curds ended up being the star of the menu. The tasting included nine different samples and was a blast, made even better by a friendly and engaging bartender. Junction 35 has two locations, one in Mountain mile behind the island in pigeon Forge and another in the outlet mall complex in Sevierville. Junction 35 is a combination, brewery and restaurant all in one. If you have dinner, you'll receive a free tasting afterwards. If you do a tasting, the cost is five dollars however they do give you a coupon for five dollars off your meal. I wish I could give this place five stars, but I have to give it four because consistently the service is not great. They are consistently understaffed., which intern causes drinks to not be refilled and food to be served cold. They do have a rather expensive menu and there is something on there for everyone. We have tried everything from appetizers to burgers to salmon to steak. I only wish our food had been served warm in order to give a better review however, the food did taste delicious and since we are local, we ended up taking it home and warming it up later. We do love some of their spirits that they offer. They have a full bar which you can order their cocktails, and they do only serve their spirits there with their cocktails, which is something I do appreciate seeing that they do make the spirits and sell them. We had dinner here 2 time while in Pigeon Forge. The first night was really busy and had a bit of a wait Thursday night. Then Friday was a wait but not too bad. We had such great service by Julio Thursday that we requested him again Friday. Both times exceeded our service expectations as he is always on point. The food, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. My Nashville chicken sandwich wasn't hot like I thought but the fries were really good. Good burgers too. The second time I came I ordered shrimp skewers with loaded mashed potatoes. Shrimp and rice was good but the potatoes taste like instant and I do not like that. The drinks were really good too. We tried a shot of their Bam Bam and I'll say it's something you should try once.
