I think having that change in the fruit portion of the salad is a nice change-of-pace. (BTW, I can't imagine why more restaurants don't offer a Wedge Salad, because there are approximately no materials or labor costs involved in putting it on a plate, but it does require an excellent blue cheese dressing.) The fries were the style with a coating that allows a restaurant to make them crispy if they don't know how to make crispy fries. We ended with the Southern Comfort Beignets, which were good enough, but nothing like some of the better beignets we've had.
