Which is a good sign, after seating in the bar area we ordered some beers. I got a milk stout which was pretty good. I ordered a burger with blue cheese and a side of fries. If you don't know what a salt link imagine the saltiness thing you have ever eaten and there you go. If you know what a salt link is....same thing. In addition the fries were limp and cold. This spot was really delicious. Went to celebrate a birthday and while they don't do anything special, it was still really nice experience. Service st the bar was spot on. I told the bartender the type of drink I had in mind and she made me a delicious blackberry drop and she got our mule down perfectly, We had to wait 15 minutes for our table and once it was ready I received a text message. The meal was delicious. I can see why this is a popular spot. The bread pudding dessert needs something added, like bananas or pecans. Overall great experience. Parking can get crazy. read more

Great local owned spot, nice atmosphere with casual but classy vibe. The hot honey fried chicken sandwich was awesome. Fries were shoe string hot and crisp. Been here a couple of times before, and I'm never disappointed. My husband and I ordered the TN Whiskey burger, onion rings , and fried green tomatoes to share today. The TN whiskey burger had a TN whiskey glaze, smoked bacon, crispy onions, and garlic aioli. It was huge and so yummy!! The burgers are served with house-made shoestring fries, that are some of the best I've ever tasted. The onion rings were bigger than any I'ld ever seen served at a restaurant. The 1/2 order was plenty for us, and they were cooked to perfection! The fried green tomatoes were also a great choice of appetizers. They were sooooooo good, topped with goat cheese, bacon jam, and caramelized onions. I would recommend getting just what we ordered, because you'll really like those things too. But, in all seriousness, you can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pigeon Forge, and it must be many others favorite, because the parking lot is always full. If it takes a while to be seated, it's totally worth the wait! And, if you have to wait, I suggest getting their "Signature" Bloody Mary, especially if it's late morning early afternoon when you dine. It's really good too! read more

Absolutely delicious! Most everything is made in-house from scratch, and you can really taste the quality. The menu has tons of great options, and there are so many beers on draft to choose from. Service was excellent. We had a party of 7 and were seated almost immediately, even though the restaurant was busy. Tons of TVs and a nice bar area. The burgers were especially tasty. Great local spot. We stopped here for a late dinner and the parking lot was packed, so you know the food has to be good. We were seated right away in like 5 minutes. The server explained to us that everything is made from scratch and majority is locally sourced food not frozen type food off of a truck. Even the ketchup is homemade. We ordered a top shelf margarita and it was delicious. We also ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and the bison burger with fries. Man were they good. Everything is cooked in the same oil, including SHELLFISH, seafood, fries and even the chips for nachos. I was very disappointed because I couldn't eat anything that I wanted. Kelsey was nice and so was the manager that came to speak with me but when he suggested I put cayenne on my nachos he pissed me off. They both apologized but it came across as demeaning. I have eaten here twice once with the family and once solo on a motorcycle trip. Both times the food and drinks were delicious. The strawberry salad is really good with the grilled chicken! The nachos are loaded up and piled high with goodness, the veggie burgers are cooked perfectly , the fries are crispy, the onion rings didn't last 2 minutes they all got gobbled up, and how could you ever go wrong with Cheese Fondue expect to only order one, the chicken fingers were a big hit! I asked for the autumn salad which typically comes with chicken and goat cheese and I asked for salmon and feta instead and it was wonderful. This salmon was cooked so perfectly it was insane. Everyone loved their meals at my table. How the heck do they have such insanely good quality food and service for a restaurant this big when making everything from scratch?! This place is AMAZING. Easy 6 stars for food and service. I've had dozens of Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches, including a few in Nashville and NONE even come close to what the Local Goat serves. There fresh handmade pasta dishes are next level too. Our server (Travis?) said he'd only been there a few weeks but was friendly, attentive, and had expert knowledge of the menu. What a find! While visiting friends in Sevierville, we had lunch at The Local Goat in Pigeon Forge and were so glad we did. This restaurant isn't like the tourist fair along Parkway. This is a scratch made menu with delicious options and an extensive full bar. We started with fried deviled eggs and stuffed piquillo peppers. Both were absolutely delicious. Peppers were sweet and goat cheese filling was tart, with balsamic reduction to round out the deliciousness. Deep fried deviled eggs were lightly battered and filling was like egg salad, light and delicious. I enjoyed the Pimiento Cheese Cheese burger that has a delicious bacon jam and grilled onions as toppings. Hand cut fries were so good and the burger is huge, shareable and delish! MDP had the Fettucine Rocco, which was so fresh and there was tons of it. Warm lava cake and red velvet cheesecake for dessert - both rich and delicious. The Blackberry Mtn Tea was on point and for my entree I got the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich. This sandwich was amazing and full of flavor. The shoestring fries were also flavorful. My husband got the fish and chips and said they were the best battered fish he's had. We also got the biggest piece of peanut butter pie I've ever had. GET RESERVATIONS! And even with reservations, you may have to wait, we had around a 2 minute wait past our reservation time, but believe me it is well worth it. We had Jaice as our waiter and he was phenomenal. He gave us recommendations on the food and also helped one of our party with a recommendation on where to find a particular bourbon he ordered and liked. He was attentive, got everything right for our orders and was a pleasure. Both folks who got the bourdon burger said it was possibly the best burger they ever had. My ribs were amazing. So tender and well cooked the bones literally pulled cleanly out of them. The fries are excellent as well. My wife loved her Teriyaki steak. So my family and I ate here a couple of years ago on vacation and I didn't like it at all, but I don't like to give a negative review based on one visit. So two years later, back in Pigeon Forge, we tried it again due to all the great reviews. It didn't get any better in my opinion. The service and atmosphere are nice but the food is almost flavorless. They brag about the fact that they make their own dressings so I ordered a salad with Blue Cheese dressing. No flavor at all. Ordered the Elvis Burger as my entree, flavorless. Like I said, there are a ton of positive reviews on here, maybe I'm missing something, but I can't recommend it and I definitely won't return. read more

The place is not worth the long wait. The food is average. My table tried the fish and chips, three different burgers, and the ribeye. The starters came out at the same time as the food, and the deep-fried deviled eggs were not worth the hype.
