BGT Burger*

From the food to the service everything here was just awesome. I had taken my son 9 and daughter 7mos out for a morning filled with activities so around 2:00 we were all hungry. I had seen Local Goat while driving a few times and really wanted to check it out. I am so glad we did. When we came in it wasn't super busy and we were seated right away. Our server came up to us and explained that it's a local chain with two locations and most everything was made in house, which is amazing. He quickly brought our drinks and took our food order. I got the burger with goat cheese and bacon Jam and my son got the kids chicken fingers. The food came out pretty fast and was nice and hot. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. My burger was huge. Not only was it plenty of food but it was delicious. The patty was well cooked and the goat cheese and the bacon jam complimented it really well. Everything on the burger was fresh and just well balanced. The bun was light and airy. I wish I could have eaten the whole thing, but thankfully the hotel has a fridge and microwave in the room so a perfect meal for later. My son was raving about his food. He absolutely loved it. Which, can be hard for him because sometimes he can be extremely picky. He loved the fries and the chicken fingers. I tried a bite of his chicken and it was juicy and had a nice crunch to it. Definitely, not the premade chicken fingers you often get for kids meals. Our server was awesome. He checked on us multiple times and brought me a refill on my soda before I had finished the first. It was our first time here but my son has decided it is now a must when we visit pigeon forge and wants to bring my husband back to show him a great place he found. I would definitely recommend this place for families or even for date night the food is delicious and fresh and the service is spot on.

Smokehouse Burger*

OMG! My wife and I both ordered the smoke house burger, mine with fries and hers came with mashed sweet potato. We both finished our huge plates, barely! These burgers took us on a trip to flavor town and the sides were also very good! I ordered an IPA with mine that also hit the spot. They have several locally made beers. This place is fantastic! My wife ordered crème brûlée and loved it. They also had a gluten free menu she appreciated.

Wow--where do I even begin? The Local Goat came up as one of the best restaurants in Pigeon Forge, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We were looking for something delicious but also with a fun atmosphere, and this place delivered on both. Our waiter was super friendly and helped us decide on drinks, appetizers, and entrées. We started with the deviled eggs, cheese fondue, and whiskey chicken wings. For our main dishes, we ordered the lamb burger and the BGT burger. I had never tried a tzatziki-style burger before, and wow--it was completely unique and so delicious. Every bite was incredible. My husband and I are huge foodies, and we were visiting from Miami on our honeymoon. We both absolutely loved everything and will definitely be back the next time we're in Pigeon Forge. What really stood out is that so much of the food and sauces are made fresh and locally each day--you can truly taste the difference. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch while in town for a volleyball tournament. My parents suggested this place and it was amazing. Their burgers had an awesome flavor along with all the fabulous toppings which make them even better. I had the pimento cheese burger which also had bacon jam on it and it was the perfect flavor combination. The fries were so good with their homemade ketchup which has just the perfect little kick to it. The buns have an everything g bagel seasoning on them which just adds to the tastiness. The restaurant is rather large with plenty of seating and we were sat right away with no wait. Several in our family added a side of ranch to dip their fries in and they all loved the homemade ranch.

Local Goat was honestly such a great find while we were in town. It was pretty busy when we got there, but we were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The place itself was clean and had a really good vibe, and our server was super friendly and attentive. We started with the Bing Bang Boom shrimp, and wow! so good! The flavor was on point. The only thing I could've skipped was the wonton crisps on the side, but that's just personal preference. For my meal, I got the TN whiskey burger and... oh my goodness. That thing was HUGE and packed with flavor. Definitely one of those burgers you keep thinking about after the trip. The fries were great too, crispy and well-seasoned. Overall, easy 10/10. I'd honestly travel back to Tennessee just to eat here again.

We're traveling and came across this fantastic restaurant in Pigeon Forge. The food was great and Krystal and Derek in the bar area were amazing bartenders. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Bonus, pork chops, smothered in apples and onions with with sweet potatoes and broccoli

The Local Goat's boneless pork chop was an outstanding recommendation by Ronald M. The 10 oz marinated center-cut pork chop was tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, complemented beautifully by the sweet apples and onions. The whipped sweet potatoes added a rich, comforting touch, while the steamed broccoli balanced the meal perfectly. Delightfully delicious from start to finish. The warm, inviting atmosphere and Ronald M's attentive service made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Crab cake BLT

The Local Goat has excellent food you can't really get anywhere else. We're from around and hour away and we go here anytime we get a chance. It's ALWAYS packed and there's usually a long wait unless you hit it at odd times, which we always do. The crab cake BLT is amazing. It's a good atmosphere. Not too lively and not too quiet either.

It's been over a year and still the worse ever ! The food here is subpar and over price. Communication is poor ! No one to communicate to !

Billy burger - house made aioli paired perfectly with the umami mushrooms.

A solid choice for a lunch or dinner when in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Upon first glance, it looks like your typical pub style restaurant with new American fare. However this establishment dares to take risks like deep frying deviled eggs and making all condiments in-house, assuring a unique experience. On a busy Sunday, my party of 2 was seated immediately and our waitress made sure to explain the menu since it was our first time. For our entrees, we ordered the Billy burger and the farmhouse burger, both of which were cooked to perfection. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and piled high with toppings. The seasoned bun was a welcome surprise. If you like burgers, you can't go wrong ordering one with your favorite customizations. It was our first time, but won't be our last visit when we are in Pigeon forge on a future trip!

TN Whiskey burger with onion rings

Went to Tennessee for a girls trip and this place was on our list of options and honestly was the best place we had all weekend! The inside is huge so don't let the packed parking lot discourage you. We were immediately seated upon walking in. Our server was amazing and swooned one of my friends lol. But the food is what is bringing me back here. Everything we tried was amazing and I went with a group of 5 gals with different taste buds. I had the TN Whiskey Glazed Burger with a side of onion rings and omg. The burger had sooo much flavor and was perfectly cooked to my liking. The onion rings were massive and battered to perfection. Everything came out fairly quickly and was so delicious! The portions are great and everything is decently priced for the location. Will definitely be my top spot when I'm in the PF area!

Family owned, friendly environment and cool merch! Maria did a phenomenal job. As soon as we told her it was our first time, she got excited for us to be there and gave us confidence that we will enjoy whatever we order. We absolutely did!! We got the spinach dip... okay so it comes with pico and sour cream. My boyfriend practically flipped the cup into his mouth of pico because it tasted that good! It was so fresh and the acidity was perfect. The spinach was good too lol He got the ribeye with baked potato and coleslaw. 10/10 he left no crumbs! The steak was cooked to perfection.... perfectly pink in the middle. Melted in your mouth with an incredible flavor! (I low key regret not getting a steak) I got a salmon Ceaser salad. It was massive and it was good. I'll say I wish I would have ordered something different. Nothing was wrong with it at all, I feel like I could have gotten this salad anywhere back home. But the steak..... the little piece I had left me wanting more!!! We absolutely did not have room for dessert and wish we did because they sounded so good!

Burger and Hand-Cut French Fries

It has been a while since I last visited Pigeon Forge, and I decided to follow a Yelp recommendation for Local Goat. I am so glad I did because it absolutely did not disappoint. The service was wonderful from start to finish. The wait staff were very friendly and clearly knew the menu inside and out, which made ordering easy. As for the vibe, the ambiance was perfect. It has that great "local bar" feel with plenty of screens to catch a game, but without all the obnoxious noise you usually find in those types of places. It was a really comfortable spot to just sit and eat. For starters we got their fried deviled eggs and bar queso spread. For our mains, we ended up trying one of the burgers from their huge selection and a Mediterranean salad creation. Whether it was a standard menu item or something a bit more customized, everything came out tasting fresh and full of flavor. Between the amazing food and the great service, I will definitely be making this a staple stop for any future trips through Pigeon Forge. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth checking out.

Extremely popular place for everyday American cuisine. Be prepared to join the wait but food and service are good.

Chubby's Restaurant - Smash Burger!!

Chubby's is a classic restaurant that offers American comfort food. The great dinner feel of the…read moreplace is an excellent representation of the bygone era of the traditional dinner. It has a real down home feel. The place offers burgers (Mushroom Swiss, BBQ Burger), sandwiches (Cheesesteaks, Reuben, BLT, Chicken Sandwiches with Ranch/Buffalo options), and hearty baskets with fried chicken, cod, or shrimp, plus breakfast served all day, desserts (chocolate pie!), and options like pork chops or steak. They have someone thing for everyone. Everything is cooked to ordered. We started off with deep fried deviled eggs. My wife had the Beef Stroganoff. While I had the House Smash Burger. The stroganoff is served in a wide, shallow bowl that showcases the sauce's glossy sheen and the generous scatter of sautéed mushrooms. Steam carries a rounded, savory bouquet: beef-forward notes, toasty browned butter, and the faint acid of a finishing touch -- likely a splash of vinegar, wine, or lemon -- that hints the sauce will be bright rather than cloying. The presentation is simple and effective: no unnecessary frills, just clear evidence that plate composition exists to showcase the food's strengths. The sauce is the star: a glossy, velvety emulsion built on a brown stock backbone, enriched with sour cream (or a light cultured cream), and tempered with mustard and a touch of acidity. The mushrooms are properly caramelized, offering an earthy counterpoint and slight chew that complements the tender beef. Onions are present but not intrusive; garlic and a whisper of thyme or parsley frame the dish without flattening the primary flavors. Chubby's pairs the stroganoff with broad egg noodles -- they're al dente-yielding and capture the sauce in their folds, which makes each mouthful a composed, layered bite rather than separate elements awkwardly forced together. The Smash Burger was an equal masterpiece as well. In an era when burgers can feel formulaic and predictable, the SMASH Triple Burger with Chubby Sauce at Chubby's Restaurant stands out not just as a meal, but as a culinary statement, mine was constructed of three thin-pressed beef patties -- each seared to achieve that iconic lace of caramelization -- deliver an intoxicating aroma of grilled beef that primes the palate for something special. The smash technique here isn't a gimmick; it's a masterstroke that intensifies the beef's flavor while maintaining juiciness through every layer, a testament to precise heat management on the griddle. The Chubby Sauce, a house specialty that earns its name with rich, tangy complexity, serves as the burger's soul. It marries creamy umami with a whisper of sweetness and a balanced acidity that cuts through the savory heft of the triple stack. This sauce is not merely a condiment -- it's the architectural glue that binds texture and taste, elevating each bite into a chorus of complementary notes. What makes this experience remarkable was how it balances bold indulgence with thoughtful restraint: the trio of patties makes a statement, yet the burger never feels overwhelmingly heavy. Each layer interacts harmoniously, and the Chubby Sauce is nothing short of inspired -- tangy yet creamy, bold yet nuanced. We topped it all off with pie. My wife had the peanut butter while I opted for the Apple pie was our desert. Dessert at Chubby's often arrives with the quiet confidence of a house specialty, and the both the Apple & Peanut Butter Pie is no exception. If you think you've had every version of apple pie, this one will surprise you. Chubby's Apple Pie is warm, comforting, and brilliantly balanced. The apples are tender and spiced just right, the crust is buttery and flaky. The peanut butter pie has a subtle, savory richness that keeps the dessert from being overly sweet. It's indulgent without being heavy and memorable in the best way. An absolute must-order if you save room for dessert. This was a great dining experience and in a tourist dominated area, this place stands out as real down home cooking that your grandmother made. Highly recommend, this is one the most stop sites if you are in the area.

It had been awhile since we were there so I called to see an outside table was available. They told me probably in 10-15 minutes. Bottom line...if you want BIG food. And you have 1.5 hours to wait for food...it is a great tourist spot. The biscuits were light and fluffy.
