This is a go to spot if you have kids with you. They have animatronic chickens all around the restaurant that sing karaoke every 30 minutes or so. It was a busy day so it kind of drowned out a lot of the sound, but I was glad as I heard they might be loud. Now on to the food, you cant beat getting a meal for 2 adults and 1 child and feel full for $30. Also it tasted sooooo good. The cinnamon roll pancakes hit the spot. I tried some of my daughter's fried chicken and the spices were on point. It's a cute touristy restaurant and doesn't skimp on the flavor of the food

Went on a Monday morning ! Before 10 am. Was not too busy no wait for a table of 3. Located in PF , limited parking , central location easy to walk to. I will say that this restaurant is super cool. They have animatronic chickens that sing dance every 5 to 10 minutes that lasts about two. They have a small menu, but the food is very good. The service is even better something that could appeal to everybody. We had the big breakfast with the pancakes eggs sausage toast Chicken and waffles And chicken strips and french fries All the food was cooked very well and came out pretty quick. Our order was right. Our waitress did a great job making sure that our drinks were full and we didn't need anything to go with our meals. The place is decor as a farmhouse. It also has a little gift shop section right in front where you can pick up a plushy to worry or T-shirt to remember your experience. Restaurant seemed very clean. They were very organized when it came to having people sit and holding tables and all of that type of thing it definitely did get busy when we left at 10:30. They had a line out the door.

The food is fine, nothing to write home about. The food portions are enough for a single person. The biscuits are small, the gravy is meh. The chicken for their chicken and waffles are just chicken strips. Their breakfast ham sandwich is a piece of ham on a hamburger bun. The potatoes tasted old. I was hoping the robotic chickens interacted with each-other the whole time, or something, but they just do a themed song every 22 minutes. They would kinda shake the entire time but I was hoping for something more entertaining. Service was fine but don't expect more than 1 refill on coffee or soda, food came quick. Wait to sit was atrocious on the weekend at 9am. We were a large group but seated us at 2 separate tables instead of a large table, so specify if you want to get seated together. Getting in and out of the parking lot was difficult to say the least. Glad they have plenty of parking in the rear. Glad to experience this place once but won't be back.

We came here Sunday morning about 8:30 and walked right in. Staff super friendly and nice clean place. We ordered and watch the chicken show. I liked that the music was loud enough to hear but you could still carry on a conversation. We got the everything breakfast one with waffle and one with pancakes, bot were cooked great.

If you have kids this place is great. Chicken animatronics that sing and move about every 15 minutes. Very cute design. They sell all kinds of merch. We were there for breakfast and it's a great way to start your day. The breakfast tacos, pancakes and chicken and waffles all were great. Wish something like this was near my home town.

Stopped in on a Sunday, sometime around brunch. The hostess quoted us, a family of 6, a 25 minute wait, but it was defintiely less than that. We were seated and promptly given menus and utensils, and our drink order was taken. Coffee was hot and pretty good! We all ordered something a little different. My husband especially liked his waffle and I thought my eggs and potatoes were seasoned and cooked well! Everything was hot and came out quickly. The atmosphere was great! The kids enjoyed the chicken shows and picked out a chicken stuffed animal for our baby. We walked around the restaurant checking out all the chicken names, which were fairly comical. Bathrooms were okay-- there was some toilet paper all over the floor and no paper towels in the holder, but I'm sure those are things they were probably taken care of since it was closer to closing time. The dining room seemed fairly clean though. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating, even with the sling for the carseat in the middle of the walkway. They give a military discount and I think we paid like $60 for everyone to eat. If we are in the area again, I would definitely go back.

The food was just okay, we really enjoyed the theming and the animatronic chickens throughout the place. For us, personally, it was a one and done type situation, but the breakfast tacos were pretty good. The biscuits and gravy were a travesty to southern people, but the people were friendly, it was clean, and I really did enjoy my own meal, personally!

We drove to town specifically for this restaurant because of the singing chickens. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. We showed up closer to noon, had no wait and were served fast. Make sure to ask abut the toppings for waffles and pancakes as they aren't listed on the menu. I got chicken and waffles with crushed oreos and husband got chicken and cinnamon bun pancakes. He was able to change the waffle to pancakes (I think there was an up charge, but worth it). The waffle was a pretty dry but still tasted good. The pancakes were the winner of our meal. The chicken is super good and I wish there was one more piece.

Super cute concept. Servers all had on overalls and plaid which was cute to me. Have some mechanical singing chickens they do a little cover maybe every 15 minutes or so. Our server was really sweet and gave us a great run down of the menu. The pancakes were phenomenal. Chicken tenders were seasoned perfectly and piping hot when they arrived. Would definitely eat here again if ever back in the mountains.

Did a to go order and didn't have time to take pics since we had alot of food (grabbed food for 6…read moreppl total) and people started digging in at various times. Got their bacon jam burger, their daddy Mac and cheese burger, boneless BBQ wings, potato skins, a buffalo chicken wrap and some regular Mac and cheese orders. First things first, my bacon jam burger was sloppy and awesome. The aioli was a bit strong, but it tasted well. I didn't know how the Swiss being added would change the flavor, but it paired well with the heavy patty that was handmade. I think any of their burgers would be great honestly just based on how the patty was seasoned and the cook was perfect. Side of fries weren't bad...were a bit overcooked, but they tasted well. Other takeaways...... The boneless wings were good...not overcooked. The sauce paired well with their ranch, which by the way, tasted decent. Did have some tartness to it, but it tasted good. Potato skins were crispy and full of flavor. I forgot we did order some of their version of mozzarella sticks and they were crispy and quite tasty as well. According to my brother in law, the Mac daddy burger was very good...it looked quite impressive I'd admit, but he raved about the taste as well. The only underwhelming item was the buffalo chicken wrap. Was told the wrap itself wasn't warm and the flavor of the chicken with the buffalo sauce wasn't ideal. FYI we stayed less than 10 minutes away from the restaurant, so everything outside of the wrap was fresh and was prepped well. Will keep them in our rotation whenever we visit the area. Probably the best burger I've had in awhile.

I polished it off. I believe the dinner entree comes with two! Luckies! The fried green tomatoes were also awesome, and so was the shrimp and grits which was a "lighter" version with the veggies and tomato base in the grits. The lunch specials are a steal and a healthy portion size too. Available every day 11am-4pm. Complimentary freshly baked bread served warm upon request. We had high hopes for the pies and ordered the seasonal lemonade pie. It was meh. We would pass on this one. Heather was our server and she was great! We walked in around 3pm on a Saturday and were told it'd be maybe a ten minute wait but then got a text as soon as we sat down that a table was ready! There's a free parking lot in the Old Mill area and overflow parking down the street too. GET THE PORK CHOP!

After joining the waitlist online before driving to the restaurant, we were seated immediately upon arrival at a high top in the bar area. I enjoyed the chill vibe. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye. Our server said it was his favorite thing on the menu and I could see why. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was marinated in pineapple ginger sauce and then basted with teriyaki. It was absolutely juicy and delicious. I highly recommend this steak, which rivals the steaks at any of those over-priced steakhouses. The steak came with a salad and I chose the house lemon dressing. I continue to dream about this creamy, slightly salty dressing. They should definitely bottle it and sell it! I chose a baked sweet potato for a side and it was huge and unfortunately not cooked through, but I enjoyed the fully cooked parts. My husband ordered the Killin Me Burger, a full pound of meat with onion straws and thousand Island dressing on a brioche bun. He said it was the best burger he's ever had and my man knows his burgers! The bun was struggling, so my only suggestion is a sturdier bun. A really magnificent meal at a fun place! I've put it on my favorites list.

He enjoyed it and said it's one of the better ones he's had! We both ordered smash burgers and sweet potato fries - I had the junction 35 (pimento cheese + bacon jam) and he had the farmhouse (bacon + fried egg). Both were amazing! Juicy burgers, perfect size patties for smash burgers, the buns were fresh and held up nicely, and the toppings were great. Sweet potato fries had a great crunch and were seasoned really well. Service was great, food was high quality and had great flavor, and the dog friendly patio was perfect for our pup. After coming back for a second visit, I can honestly say it still lived up to the experience we remembered. One of the best parts about this restaurant is the atmosphere. We were seated with an awesome view overlooking the outside area, which made lunch even more relaxing. The scenery and open feel of the location gave the whole meal a comfortable Southern vibe that fit perfectly with the food they serve. It also was not overly busy during lunch time, so everything felt calm and enjoyable instead of rushed. The service was quick from the moment we sat down. Our waitress was very attentive and stayed on top of making sure we had everything we needed. Drinks stayed filled, food came out quickly, and she made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. As for the food, it was exactly what we hoped it would be. The green beans were honestly one of our favorite sides. They were full of flavor and tasted homemade. The fish was another standout for us. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cooked just right. Everything we tried had that classic comfort food feeling that Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is known for. Coming back here during our honeymoon week made the experience even more special. It was nice returning to a place we already had good memories at and seeing that the food and service were still consistently great. Overall, Paula Deen's Family Kitchen gave us another memorable experience with great food, quick service, and a beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely be back again in the future.
