This is a go to spot if you have kids with you. They have animatronic chickens all around the restaurant that sing karaoke every 30 minutes or so. It was a busy day so it kind of drowned out a lot of the sound, but I was glad as I heard they might be loud. Now on to the food, you cant beat getting a meal for 2 adults and 1 child and feel full for $30. Also it tasted sooooo good. The cinnamon roll pancakes hit the spot. I tried some of my daughter's fried chicken and the spices were on point. It's a cute touristy restaurant and doesn't skimp on the flavor of the food

Went on a Monday morning ! Before 10 am. Was not too busy no wait for a table of 3. Located in PF , limited parking , central location easy to walk to. I will say that this restaurant is super cool. They have animatronic chickens that sing dance every 5 to 10 minutes that lasts about two. They have a small menu, but the food is very good. The service is even better something that could appeal to everybody. We had the big breakfast with the pancakes eggs sausage toast Chicken and waffles And chicken strips and french fries All the food was cooked very well and came out pretty quick. Our order was right. Our waitress did a great job making sure that our drinks were full and we didn't need anything to go with our meals. The place is decor as a farmhouse. It also has a little gift shop section right in front where you can pick up a plushy to worry or T-shirt to remember your experience. Restaurant seemed very clean. They were very organized when it came to having people sit and holding tables and all of that type of thing it definitely did get busy when we left at 10:30. They had a line out the door.

The food is fine, nothing to write home about. The food portions are enough for a single person. The biscuits are small, the gravy is meh. The chicken for their chicken and waffles are just chicken strips. Their breakfast ham sandwich is a piece of ham on a hamburger bun. The potatoes tasted old. I was hoping the robotic chickens interacted with each-other the whole time, or something, but they just do a themed song every 22 minutes. They would kinda shake the entire time but I was hoping for something more entertaining. Service was fine but don't expect more than 1 refill on coffee or soda, food came quick. Wait to sit was atrocious on the weekend at 9am. We were a large group but seated us at 2 separate tables instead of a large table, so specify if you want to get seated together. Getting in and out of the parking lot was difficult to say the least. Glad they have plenty of parking in the rear. Glad to experience this place once but won't be back.

We came here Sunday morning about 8:30 and walked right in. Staff super friendly and nice clean place. We ordered and watch the chicken show. I liked that the music was loud enough to hear but you could still carry on a conversation. We got the everything breakfast one with waffle and one with pancakes, bot were cooked great.

If you have kids this place is great. Chicken animatronics that sing and move about every 15 minutes. Very cute design. They sell all kinds of merch. We were there for breakfast and it's a great way to start your day. The breakfast tacos, pancakes and chicken and waffles all were great. Wish something like this was near my home town.

Stopped in on a Sunday, sometime around brunch. The hostess quoted us, a family of 6, a 25 minute wait, but it was defintiely less than that. We were seated and promptly given menus and utensils, and our drink order was taken. Coffee was hot and pretty good! We all ordered something a little different. My husband especially liked his waffle and I thought my eggs and potatoes were seasoned and cooked well! Everything was hot and came out quickly. The atmosphere was great! The kids enjoyed the chicken shows and picked out a chicken stuffed animal for our baby. We walked around the restaurant checking out all the chicken names, which were fairly comical. Bathrooms were okay-- there was some toilet paper all over the floor and no paper towels in the holder, but I'm sure those are things they were probably taken care of since it was closer to closing time. The dining room seemed fairly clean though. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating, even with the sling for the carseat in the middle of the walkway. They give a military discount and I think we paid like $60 for everyone to eat. If we are in the area again, I would definitely go back.

We drove to town specifically for this restaurant because of the singing chickens. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. We showed up closer to noon, had no wait and were served fast. Make sure to ask abut the toppings for waffles and pancakes as they aren't listed on the menu. I got chicken and waffles with crushed oreos and husband got chicken and cinnamon bun pancakes. He was able to change the waffle to pancakes (I think there was an up charge, but worth it). The waffle was a pretty dry but still tasted good. The pancakes were the winner of our meal. The chicken is super good and I wish there was one more piece.

Super cute concept. Servers all had on overalls and plaid which was cute to me. Have some mechanical singing chickens they do a little cover maybe every 15 minutes or so. Our server was really sweet and gave us a great run down of the menu. The pancakes were phenomenal. Chicken tenders were seasoned perfectly and piping hot when they arrived. Would definitely eat here again if ever back in the mountains.

From the moment we sat down, the food just kept coming . fried chicken that was crispy and juicy, fluffy biscuits, creamy mac and cheese, and sides that tasted straight out of someone's grandma's recipe box. The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.

It has a real down home feel. The place offers burgers (Mushroom Swiss, BBQ Burger), sandwiches (Cheesesteaks, Reuben, BLT, Chicken Sandwiches with Ranch/Buffalo options), and hearty baskets with fried chicken, cod, or shrimp, plus breakfast served all day, desserts (chocolate pie!), and options like pork chops or steak. They have someone thing for everyone. Everything is cooked to ordered. We started off with deep fried deviled eggs. My wife had the Beef Stroganoff. While I had the House Smash Burger. The stroganoff is served in a wide, shallow bowl that showcases the sauce's glossy sheen and the generous scatter of sautéed mushrooms. Steam carries a rounded, savory bouquet: beef-forward notes, toasty browned butter, and the faint acid of a finishing touch -- likely a splash of vinegar, wine, or lemon -- that hints the sauce will be bright rather than cloying. The presentation is simple and effective: no unnecessary frills, just clear evidence that plate composition exists to showcase the food's strengths. The sauce is the star: a glossy, velvety emulsion built on a brown stock backbone, enriched with sour cream (or a light cultured cream), and tempered with mustard and a touch of acidity. The mushrooms are properly caramelized, offering an earthy counterpoint and slight chew that complements the tender beef. Onions are present but not intrusive; garlic and a whisper of thyme or parsley frame the dish without flattening the primary flavors. Chubby's pairs the stroganoff with broad egg noodles -- they're al dente-yielding and capture the sauce in their folds, which makes each mouthful a composed, layered bite rather than separate elements awkwardly forced together. The Smash Burger was an equal masterpiece as well. In an era when burgers can feel formulaic and predictable, the SMASH Triple Burger with Chubby Sauce at Chubby's Restaurant stands out not just as a meal, but as a culinary statement, mine was constructed of three thin-pressed beef patties -- each seared to achieve that iconic lace of caramelization -- deliver an intoxicating aroma of grilled beef that primes the palate for something special. The smash technique here isn't a gimmick; it's a masterstroke that intensifies the beef's flavor while maintaining juiciness through every layer, a testament to precise heat management on the griddle. The Chubby Sauce, a house specialty that earns its name with rich, tangy complexity, serves as the burger's soul. It marries creamy umami with a whisper of sweetness and a balanced acidity that cuts through the savory heft of the triple stack. This sauce is not merely a condiment -- it's the architectural glue that binds texture and taste, elevating each bite into a chorus of complementary notes. What makes this experience remarkable was how it balances bold indulgence with thoughtful restraint: the trio of patties makes a statement, yet the burger never feels overwhelmingly heavy. Each layer interacts harmoniously, and the Chubby Sauce is nothing short of inspired -- tangy yet creamy, bold yet nuanced. We topped it all off with pie. My wife had the peanut butter while I opted for the Apple pie was our desert. Dessert at Chubby's often arrives with the quiet confidence of a house specialty, and the both the Apple & Peanut Butter Pie is no exception. If you think you've had every version of apple pie, this one will surprise you. Chubby's Apple Pie is warm, comforting, and brilliantly balanced. The apples are tender and spiced just right, the crust is buttery and flaky. The peanut butter pie has a subtle, savory richness that keeps the dessert from being overly sweet. It's indulgent without being heavy and memorable in the best way. An absolute must-order if you save room for dessert. This was a great dining experience and in a tourist dominated area, this place stands out as real down home cooking that your grandmother made. Highly recommend, this is one the most stop sites if you are in the area.
