They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Every evening they surprised us with a little treat for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We reported to her the unsatisfactory meal but we ate it because we were on a quick break from work & needed to hurry. We did not have time for a 2nd breakfast to be cooked. She picked up the bill & asked us to wait a minute. She returned after a while & told us she removed the charges for the two iced teas! So, we paid $35. for two people to have a crummy meal while on a quick break from work. FINALLY - we are so sick of those horrible metal chairs in the dining room. They hurt most people's outer legs/hips & do not encourage a customer to relax & be comfortable. In the past, the food was so good, we would just over look the chairs, but after today's horrible food & the lack of anyone caring about our visit, we won't be using our hard earned money to eat crummy food & be uncomfortable. Fries all the way around. They were well-cooked crinkle fries, and well seasoned too. I had the B.E.L.T. which was great. In fact, all of the food was ideal and fresh. Between the flawless, quick food, and cleanliness, and the service I am missing nothing. Kylie was super nice and always there when we needed her. Overall, this place is a winner. Everything is made from scratch and they let us know what could be and couldn't be dairy free. The food taste great too! We tried two burgers and wings, all were delicious and filling. Service and Atmosphere was nice, overall, as well. Our first server was mostly attentive but did seem to forget our waters for awhile. However, that's the only complaint we had. One thing to note is that the parking lot is steep and tight, but we didn't have any issues finding a spot.
