Very friendly service from this family owned and ran restaurant. The ham, egg and cheese croissant was really good. My wife got the pancake and one meat and she said it was good. The biscuits and gravy was really good. Definitely eating here again.

If you like restaurants that do sneaky upsells,, then this is the place for you. On one side of the menu, you'll find sandwiches listed. On the other side, you'll find sides. As we ordered burgers, the server (owner?) who took our order asked do we want fries, onion rings, or tater tots. There was no mention that these things were not included. He didn't ask if we'd like to ADD those things. He just asked which we'd like. We were surprised to see the sides as separate charges on the bill. When I inquired about it, he freely admitted that he was trying to upsell us. I told him that he did, and that we would never be back. There are so many places to eat in the area, so I encourage you to support the honest ones.

The employees or / owner of this restaurant are the nicest people and we had excellent service. We have a service dog with us and they helped us find the best seats for lunch possible. They have two outdoor seating areas for any one with pets and we felt more that was comfortable for our lunch. We were glad to support such a great local restaurant. Now about the food which was delicious, we ordered the chicken finger platter which was $9.99 and came with French fries and coleslaw. My cheeseburger was so reasonably priced at 6.45.

Just GO!!! We stopped here this morning to eat breakfast on our way home. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and my husband got the country ham and biscuit and fried potatoes. It was delicious, family owned, great service and such a welcome! We will be back. Oh yes, the biscuits are amazing

We had a great experience. Staff was amazing, the place was clean and super cute, and food was yummy. The food was priced great for a family of 5. We will definitely be back before we leave. Thank you for making my kids feel special. They loved writing on the table.

Found this beautiful place near wilderness at the Smokies for a Togo breakfast meal. Right off the bat, you can tell that this place has love for everyone. Very beautiful nice people here. Laid back and the food was great. I stopped eating pork so find breakfast meat is always a choir. Their fried chicken tender was flavored to good lol. The host and everyone else was great God Fearing people. They recognized me as a Service Member and asked about it. I wore my Air Force Retire hat. They thanked me for my service and he had an old flag they he as veteran sign on his wall. I really appreciated the gesture and was honored to sign. Thank you Honey Pot Grill staff for making my day with good food, company and hospitality. God Bless yall.

We stayed at the Wilderness and was looking for a close breakfast spot and this place is it! It is definitely a home feeling to the place with country cooking. The food was amazing and budget friendly. The workers were super friendly and very attentive. It is definitely on our list for our trips from now on!

Great country atmosphere, limited menu, but good. The atmosphere was perfect for a local breakfast spot. Service was great too.

Before moving on - they give coupons for free fudge and a free little bottle of gems at the neighboring gen mine! As in free - free! Ok, now for the food - absolutely delicious and plentiful. I had a mountain berry crepe along with pecan pancakes. FOUR BIG pancakes! The bacon was perfectly crispy too - the whole meal was just spot on. I know it's just bacon and pancakes...but the people, and place made them taste like the best ever. A fun place, and affordable too.

And then I looked again, hoping that maybe something low-calorie or nutrient-dense was hiding and I just needed to look harder. Nope. But if you're looking for a sandwich that consists of chicken tenders between two glazed donuts, then this is your place. Sawyer's has other things that are not so county-fair forward. They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. This is a fun little place that's great for families, for sure.

The beautiful fresh produce complimented the expertly cooked and seasoned proteins. There wasn't a single thing we ate that we didn't enjoy. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Every evening they surprised us with a little treat for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Tennessee Haystack was good, although it came out incorrect the first time.... chicken and waffles mediocre at best. Small chicken tenders similar to something that you'd get at a convenience store. Young man at the cash register was able to figure it out finally and we were able to pay. Biggest issue, noise. If you are even slightly bothered by loud noise, DO NOT sit inside. What amplifies the issue, is multiple families would line up to pay. Not only increasing the noise by us, it caused for congestion in the area by the kitchen for the servers.

It was 12:00 & dining room was mostly empty. The Benedict sauce tasted like melted margarine & was pretty thick too. One of my eggs was totally boiled, meaning no runny yellow. The other egg was just barely runny. The Canadian Bacon was NOT real. It was some sort of sliced & spiced luncheon meat that tasted horrible. I asked the waitress for some butter for my grits, and she said "more butter?", as if it was fine the way it came, and what is wrong with me:-( The shrimp on the Po Boy was NOT Blackened. No spices what-so-ever. The french fries that came with it, were the best part of that meal:-( Our waitress, Becca M, avoided eye contact with us the entire time we ate, and remember, the place was over half empty. Once we were finished eating, she came over, after waiving her down, and asked how our meal was. We reported to her the unsatisfactory meal but we ate it because we were on a quick break from work & needed to hurry. We did not have time for a 2nd breakfast to be cooked. She picked up the bill & asked us to wait a minute. She returned after a while & told us she removed the charges for the two iced teas! So, we paid $35. for two people to have a crummy meal while on a quick break from work. FINALLY - we are so sick of those horrible metal chairs in the dining room. They hurt most people's outer legs/hips & do not encourage a customer to relax & be comfortable. In the past, the food was so good, we would just over look the chairs, but after today's horrible food & the lack of anyone caring about our visit, we won't be using our hard earned money to eat crummy food & be uncomfortable. FYI: after removal of our iced tea, our meal was $29.90, we did include a $5.00 tip.
