New location, same great bbq!!! The bbq is tasty enough to eat without sauce but I still also love the sauce so I prefer the combo of both. Good options, fast service.

The best smoked barbecue me and my boyfriend ever had. Excellent home cooked food that's made to order. We split a full rack with a baked potato (def add the cheese) and baked beans. The meat was so tender and fall off the bone. The smokey flavor was not too overpowering and you could honestly eat it all without sauce. The bbq sauce was just too yummy to not have in the equation. The beans slapped and the baked potato was excellent. They just moved to this new location so they had a limited menu and we couldn't try the fried Mac n cheese (). We met both of the dedicated owners and they were so kind. This new spot has limited indoor seating and some outside seating. They are still in the process of settling in this new location but it was still busy and many locals seem to love this spot. Happy we tried it on our vacation, would highly recommend.

Dad, son and bros back in the area for our annual outing...and back at Delauders! New location (from gas station to used car lot) but same great food! Moist, tender and tasty meats and quality sides. Friendly owners and attentive staff! Seating better than gas station but still limited...but it's all about the food!

Do yourself a favor and if you are visiting Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and want to avoid the more commercial/touristy food spots, definitely come down to Delauders BBQ. We arrived about an hour before closing and we were able to order and be seated quickly. Service was very friendly and it gave off a very family-run restaurant atmosphere. No frills, just straight ol' good BBQ. The Sampler Dinner was a perfect choice and for the 2 of us was enough food to share. The pulled pork was absolutely the star of the show. In photos it looks kind of dry, but in person it was way more moist and wet. It didn't even need any sauce which is a great mark of fantastic pulled pork. The ribs were great as well. Tender and flavorful. I think they ran out of chicken and substituted it with what I believe was pork belly and that was also really great. The layer of fat was perfect to balance out the lean meat. The meat could have been more moist however, it was a tad dry. The sausage was just alright. And the brisket was definitely the most disappointing cut of meat. I will give Delauders the benefit of the doubt since we did arrive close to closing. The cut itself had little to no fat and so it was not just a lean bite but also pretty dry. That being said, Delauders is still absolutely worth a stop. Friendly prices and friendly service, that's southern comfort for ya.

After received the owners comments, I am updating my review. I can always appreciate an owner that is actively engaged in the running of their business, and that takes candid feedback to heart. While I don't think "giving me extra food" that I did not ask for makes up for anything, at least having the courage to digest a less than stellar experience and learn from it does. As a Yelp elite, we are not just given badges - we earn this recognition due to providing honest reviews of our experiences to the community. Every encounter is not going to be great, but how the establishment reacts to criticism publicly should tell their future customers what to expect when patronizing that business. Good on ya for not blame shifting to employees that you presumably hired and taking accountability for everything that happens at your business, whether you are there or not

I've never been to Tennessee and this was my first time visiting that state. The fiancé and I were actually in TN to watch NASCAR and when that was done we had a road trip down to Atlanta, GA. Another state I've never been to lol. Along the route towards that few hours of driving, we needed to stop by Delauders BBQ. We saw it on YouTube and everything looks sooooo good so it was on our list. So glad we did because it was finger licking good!!! They had a more limited menu that day but the fiancé and I got the dinner for 2 and he also got a side of brisket and we ordered the corn nuggets as well. For the sides we got baked beans, coleslaw, and friend mac and cheese. It also comes with buns so you can make a slider!! The pulled pork and ribs were sooooooo delicious!! My fiancé really enjoyed the brisket too! He was very amazed because I never would get my hands dirty when I eat ribs, maybe two fingers on one hand. But I was using both my hands which tells you how good those ribs were!!! The owner was super chill as well. Very easy to talk to and super nice guy! The business is family owned and ran and you definitely can tell he cares about his customers and community when talking to him. The inside feels very homey as well! It has some cool looking decor! lol that street light! Haha anyways if you've never tried Delauders BBQ out in Gatlinburg, TN, then you definitely need to go!! You will not be disappointed!! I'm already drooling thinking bout the ribs there and when the next time I'll be able to go there again!!

I am glad we got off the main strip in Gatlinburg to head to Delauder's for dinner. I always seek out BBQ since we don't have a lot of great BBQ in SoCal and Delauders was just what I needed. We shared a sampler plate with brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and ribs. The ribs were very tender, fell right off the bone! Pulled pork was juicy and the bbq sauce on the table was not too sweet, perfect addition. The brisket could have been a little more moist, but it could be that we were there an hour before close. The sides were delightful! Fried okra was crisp not soggy and the beans were your traditional baked beans which never disappoint. Good value, god food, friendly service. It felt like we were at their house receiving a home cooked meal!

Service was great! They no longer offer Mac and cheese which was a let down. They've changed locations and it was VERY small in there. The food was OK but maybe we're just used to Texas BBQ that has a lot of flavor... this was just a little bland. Very tender just bland. Green beans were overly salty and greens were okay.

This unassuming BBQ place is doing everything right when it comes to food! After reading the reviews, I knew to not judge it by the outer appearance, and I am so happy I went for it. If you are looking for fancy digs, this is not it. But your belly will thank you. The ribs, brisket, sausage, fried macaroni and cheese, and potato salad were the tried items. They have soft drinks and iced tea (sweet and unsweet). No desserts were available, but I was told they generally offer banana pudding. They had a big catering event this day, so they weren't able to make it. The staff (also owners) were fantastic and friendly. Of note: there aren't many tables, but we didn't have a long wait. Definitely will be back, as this was one of our favorite stops on our Gatlinburg trip.

God.Guns.Football.BBQ. The four pillars of American society and I can say honestly and with 100% confidence that Delauder's definitively checks that last box. Upon the opening of the front door you suddenly get an overwhelming flash of nostalgia. This place is family owned, family run, and will leave you with your stomach full of good food and appreciation for the good old fashioned American plate of bbq. Nestled amongst the Smokies, Delauder's BBQ is a rare breed in today's society--they serve their community well and provide a laid back, inviting atmosphere which is all completed with a hearty meal. Everyone should experience a meal like the one Delauder's offers.

It has a real down home feel. The place offers burgers (Mushroom Swiss, BBQ Burger), sandwiches (Cheesesteaks, Reuben, BLT, Chicken Sandwiches with Ranch/Buffalo options), and hearty baskets with fried chicken, cod, or shrimp, plus breakfast served all day, desserts (chocolate pie!), and options like pork chops or steak. They have someone thing for everyone. Everything is cooked to ordered. We started off with deep fried deviled eggs. My wife had the Beef Stroganoff. While I had the House Smash Burger. The stroganoff is served in a wide, shallow bowl that showcases the sauce's glossy sheen and the generous scatter of sautéed mushrooms. Steam carries a rounded, savory bouquet: beef-forward notes, toasty browned butter, and the faint acid of a finishing touch -- likely a splash of vinegar, wine, or lemon -- that hints the sauce will be bright rather than cloying. The presentation is simple and effective: no unnecessary frills, just clear evidence that plate composition exists to showcase the food's strengths. The sauce is the star: a glossy, velvety emulsion built on a brown stock backbone, enriched with sour cream (or a light cultured cream), and tempered with mustard and a touch of acidity. The mushrooms are properly caramelized, offering an earthy counterpoint and slight chew that complements the tender beef. Onions are present but not intrusive; garlic and a whisper of thyme or parsley frame the dish without flattening the primary flavors. Chubby's pairs the stroganoff with broad egg noodles -- they're al dente-yielding and capture the sauce in their folds, which makes each mouthful a composed, layered bite rather than separate elements awkwardly forced together. The Smash Burger was an equal masterpiece as well. In an era when burgers can feel formulaic and predictable, the SMASH Triple Burger with Chubby Sauce at Chubby's Restaurant stands out not just as a meal, but as a culinary statement, mine was constructed of three thin-pressed beef patties -- each seared to achieve that iconic lace of caramelization -- deliver an intoxicating aroma of grilled beef that primes the palate for something special. The smash technique here isn't a gimmick; it's a masterstroke that intensifies the beef's flavor while maintaining juiciness through every layer, a testament to precise heat management on the griddle. The Chubby Sauce, a house specialty that earns its name with rich, tangy complexity, serves as the burger's soul. It marries creamy umami with a whisper of sweetness and a balanced acidity that cuts through the savory heft of the triple stack. This sauce is not merely a condiment -- it's the architectural glue that binds texture and taste, elevating each bite into a chorus of complementary notes. What makes this experience remarkable was how it balances bold indulgence with thoughtful restraint: the trio of patties makes a statement, yet the burger never feels overwhelmingly heavy. Each layer interacts harmoniously, and the Chubby Sauce is nothing short of inspired -- tangy yet creamy, bold yet nuanced. We topped it all off with pie. My wife had the peanut butter while I opted for the Apple pie was our desert. Dessert at Chubby's often arrives with the quiet confidence of a house specialty, and the both the Apple & Peanut Butter Pie is no exception. If you think you've had every version of apple pie, this one will surprise you. Chubby's Apple Pie is warm, comforting, and brilliantly balanced. The apples are tender and spiced just right, the crust is buttery and flaky. The peanut butter pie has a subtle, savory richness that keeps the dessert from being overly sweet. It's indulgent without being heavy and memorable in the best way. An absolute must-order if you save room for dessert. This was a great dining experience and in a tourist dominated area, this place stands out as real down home cooking that your grandmother made. Highly recommend, this is one the most stop sites if you are in the area.
