Bennett's was highly recommended to us by local friends and a variety of online searches. We loved being able to join the wait list. However we still had to wait once our party was called. My husband and I both ordered the pork salad and we split the combo appetizer. The pork was good but most everything else was lacking in flavor. My mother had the buffalo wings and enjoyed them. My dad had the burger and enjoyed it as well. Our order came out wrong in the beginning and was mixed with someone else's, but our server made it right. It's your traditional bbq restaurant, atmosphere and all. It was good to try but I'm not sure I'll be back.

Best BBQ in Pigeon Forge (close-ish to Dollywood!) Really nice, Southern hospitality. Really good fried pickles appetizer - get at least one for the table. The BBQ platters are the best deal - a garlic biscuit and 2 sides. Yum.

After reading reviews we decided on Bennett's for dinner on a Thursday evening, we got promptly seated, Gary was our waiter, we got our drinks and ordered the deep fried hard boiled eggs ... they are excellent!!! Be sure to add their relish to them it enhances the taste, it is not too sweet or sour and helps balance the flavors. We both got the burnt ends meal, pretty good and would recommend them, Mac and cheese is really good, sweet potato was a little small but very flavorful, the rolls are really tasty, the BBQ beans are ok not bad but not great a little to tomato / sauce taste for me, that's a personal choice. Overall a great stop for dinner.

This is a place I'd been looking forward since before I began this year's vacation. I had heard about this spot the night before flying down from Connecticut, so of course I've been wanting to come and review this spot. Upon arrival, the first thing I had noticed is that you have to park in the back. That's where Bennett's has their parking for some reason. It can be a bit of a challenging walk if you have disabilities, but still quite doable. Nevertheless, this is a pretty famous spot for Pigeon Forge BBQ, and by the time we had entered Sevier County, I was already craving BBQ. We were actually supposed to meet up with some other people there, but it never quite panned out, so it was just me, my brother, my dad, and my stepmom again. Group of 4. Oh, and if you want to bring pets, only service animals are allowed, so don't try to bring Fido in just because you want to look for doggie treats. When coming in, I had noticed the floors to be a bit slippery. Like, what did they coat the floors with? Crisco? And no, it's not an issue with my shoes. They may be new, but I'd been wearing Merrell hikers for years and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they have good grip. They're great for walking, so if I find the floor to be slippery, that's a them problem in this case, not a me problem. That said, everything was easy to find, and we appreciated the menus being given to us immediately. They also nail the ambiance of a Southern BBQ Pit which I find to be much appreciated. Out of the party, I was the only one who got burnt ends. Everyone else had brisket. They didn't have collard greens today, so my brother had to settle for green beans. Between the four of us, our sides included Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, and green beans, and we each got one garlic biscuit as part of our orders. I was also the only one to get an alcoholic drink this time around, that being the Hunch Punch Cooler. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous trying the drink, but. not because of the alcohol. It's because it contains Starry, and the last time I ordered a bottle of Starry, it tried to come out my nose. No other soda I've ever drank did this. So yeah, I was not a fan of the change from Sierra Mist to Starry. That being said, the drink itself I was actually able to hold down much better. Honestly, I feel like the alcohol may have had something to do with it, but the components of the drink also helped make this an enjoyable drink. Yeah, the Hunch Punch Cooler is still worth a try even if you've had less than stellar experiences with any of the ingredients that go in it. I thought my burnt ends were good, and the Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were good sides too. My whole meal was tasty, but I think adding Mustard's Last Stand helped elevate the flavor of the burnt ends. If I'm being honest, I regret not getting a bottle of the mustard sauce to take home. I did get a chance to try the brisket and green bean too. The brisket was good, but I do agree it was a tad dry. Again, that mustard worked miracles on it. The green bean was good enough that I could see myself grabbing it as a side if I were to come here in the future. It's not the best green bean order I've ever tasted though. Service was pretty decent too. Nothing bad, but nothing that would make me say "AMG MAKE THIS GUY CEO RIGHT THIS SECOND". He was fine. No impact on the rating either which way. At the end of the day, it's good BBQ. It's not gonna rank as my favorite all by itself, but it's good, and the Mustard's Last Stand does a great job elevating the food. Definitely worth trying on a trip to Pigeon Forge.

Good, not special, barbecue. Ribs were tasty, but overcooked, and the barbecue sauce was very ordinary, lacked any kind of pop/zing. Green beans were overcooked also, but were tasty. Collard greens were very bland. Unfortunately, the roll/biscuit was. "meh" too. Seating hostess was very nice and I was seated promptly after a very short wait. Server was very nice also. Nice atmosphere. Don't know the other barbecue places in this town so can't say if I would come back and try this place again. Reasonable prices, particularly in this overly touristy city.

    Lunch 3 meat 2 sides $20

We ordered from the lunch menu, a choice of 3 meats and 2 sides, brisket, baby back ribs, Jalapeño Sausage, baked beans, and fries for $20. It was good but nothing great, but a good value enough for 2 people to share. The brisket was almost to tender, and didn't seem freshly made. The two ribs were small fall off the bone but tasty, and the serving of Sausage was way small. The beans were good, the fries were plain and not right out of the fryer. With all the choices of restaurant in Pigeon Forge, I probably wouldn't come back. When I eat out, I want it to be memorable.

While visiting Pigeon Forge? I asked a local for their Favorite BBQ spot.Quite a few folk recommended Bennett's! I Love when you can Enjoy the Aroma of BBQ from the Parking lot!! The place was jumping with Good Music ( Frankie Beverly & Maze! RIP FRANKIE) & Plenty of Folk Enjoying Good Food! We were Hungry! So, we ordered appetizers & Combo platters for each of Us! Now, 3 Women of a " Particular " age should've known better! But Hey..we are on vacation & there was a Fridge & Microwave in our hotel room! We had Fried Pickles, deviled , & Wings ( all very good) The Ribs, pulled pork, brisket & chicken were tender, flavorful & smokey! I really enjoyed the variety of Sauces available to add. I will be ordering the Yummy Mustard base sauce. The staff were Friendly & Helpful! Good Choice & a Fun time! And yes We had plenty to take back to hotel for another feast the following evening!

Stopped after a day at the NP, hungry and getting out the car getting smacked in the face by that real barbecue smell made the stomach rumble louder. Friendly greeting as we walked in, seated quickly (no crowd), drink orders taken, and menu scanning in minutes. Did Sweet-Tea 1/2 & 1/2 (perfect) some places cannot get it right. We tried two samplers- an appetizers one and a barbeque one. The appetizers were really good. Never had a deep fried deviled egg (now I have) and Mia (our waitress was right) the chow chow sauce took it to a different level. The fried pickles were perfect & she split the wings for us (very nice), my bourbon style was delicious. The barbecue platter had a nice mix of meats. I was pleasantly surprised as sausage is not my favorite, but the jalapeño sausage was my favorite, especially with mustard sauce (again, great suggestion by Mia). The barbecue was okay, nothing that would make me drive back any great distance like some, but for a tourist spot, it was decent. The price was fair for what you got. I thought everything was dried out, the chicken had no juice and the ribs were really dry even after I smothered in sauce. Tender, but dry. The beans & potato salad was good. Our waitress (Mia) I hope I got it right? It was on our receipt. She got this place to a four from a 3 1/2.

Food was great & fresh. kinda high but mostly worth it. Salad bar is now open, $15 all you can eat or $7 added to an entree, very expensive salad bar & only one small bar for the salad.. most definitely NOT worth the price. Biscuits was hard and cold- we were not able to eat them at all. Parking is not the greatest & is very tight- however, we went straight in & were seated within 2-3 minutes. overall, great food, waitress was great- will return. i give it a 7.5/10 mac & cheese could be better, chicken tenders could use more seasoning- they were kinda plain.

Very tasty, affordable and generous portion. The sofa seats are comfortable and our waitress is so friendly and welcoming! I would come back if I come to Smokey mountain next time.

The waitress was really nice, that was a many people that my friend and I talked to - it was all about the food. The bbq was excellent. Sausage - great; Mac and Cheese - great; bbq chicken - tasty; Brisket - little dry; and Slaw - perfect mixture. One of the few places with an actual local Tennessee vibe. Must check out.

Beans, potato salad, brisket, sausage, (ribs went too fast!)

No crowd just after noon. Seated immmediately. Pleasant, friendly wait staff. Rustic, country interior. We had a combo with ribs, sausage and brisket. Meat was good. Ribs tender but a little dry, brisket was average, jalapeño sausage had a nice spice. House BBQ sauce was very good with all three meats. Potato salad was great! BBQ beans were too sweet with too much sauce.
