The food was delicious, and our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was fantastic--I highly recommend sitting on the rooftop for great views of all the attractions nearby. The watermelon margarita was excellent, and the live music added to the experience. As a bonus, after your meal you can take your receipt to the distillery downstairs and enjoy a complimentary tasting of locally made moonshine and whiskey. Tucked in the corner side of The Shops Of Pigeon Forge, is this family owned deli with homemade sandwiches and bread. This is a hidden gem. Cozy and a good small sized area for a quick bite! All the staffs are very welcoming and thoughtful. We ordered their infamous Reuben and Pot Roast sandwiches as well as their Italian Beef, Cheesesteak and Roast Beef sandwiches. All of them are flavorful and delicious. They recommend getting the half sized sandwiches since they are pretty big. Don't forget to try their parmesan garlic pretzels - so yummy! Not sure why there are so many five star reviews here. The food is just ok. Chili was good, the Chub was just an ok deli meat sandwich, the bacon was terrible, microwaved as well. While visiting the outlets, a local recommended this small sandwich shop to us. His recommendation was spot on as we loved everything that we ordered. The ladies making the sandwiches were super friendly and helped us decide what to order. All of the bread and pretzels are made fresh in house. The pot roast sandwich was the favorite of the two sandwiches, but the Italian was super tasty and juicy as well. We got 1/2 sandwiches so we could try the pretzels, but let me tell you, the 1/2 sandwich is a ton of food. We were both full before we even started the pretzels. The pretzels were really good and we ordered the small ones which were HUGE. Small indoor eating area with cute little lights strung across the seating. A few picnic tables outside as well. I don't get all these 5 star reviews but to each their own. It's a tiny hole in the wall in the corner of the shopping center better known for the Dollar store. The place seems family owned, which I'm all for supporting, but their equipment looks about as antiquated as Parton's Deli in Gatlinburg, which keeps old appliances for nostalgia. I had the Pot Roast sandwich. It was ok, came with au jus on the side. It was disappointing in it's plainess. Also lack of seating and just general appearance of the place wasn't what I would expect for all these 5 star reviews. I went based on a YouTube vloggers recommendation of their sandwiches being amazing. They are about as amazing as if my mom made it. And if you like that, the place is fine. This small deli hidden in a strip center is well worth the visit! You'll see right away that there are a few things that make this not a perfect score; however, this is a fantastic place! My family of 13 came here on a Wednesday afternoon when most attractions and restaurants in town are closed. We were greeted at the door by three kind and engaging individuals who helped guide us through their menu. We got the following: -turkey and American -BLT and Pimento -Grilled cheese -Italian -Reuben All sandwiches here are fantastic. You could literally close your eyes and pick one at random and it would amaze you. Their bread was fantastic as well. We also ordered three pretzels and were amazed by them too. We come to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge every year in either October or November, and every year we make sure to come to the Pigeon Forge Deli. They make their bread in house - which is fantastic. They make pretzels in house - again, fantastic. We have a favorite and it is quite difficult to order anything different. Their sandwiches are huge! My wife and I share The Chub - similar to a club but on their (((amazing!!))) bread and hot. It is definitely "a chub". (See picture of just half of our sandwich) Their pretzels are also fantastic and we always get one to go. Our favorite is Parmesan garlic. This trip we went twice. Their service is wonderful. This is a great hidden gem in a sea of touristy overpriced restaurants in Pigeon Forge. It's tucked in the back of a strip mall off Teaster. Let me start with the star of the show for me: the bread. Wow, was it good! Soft, slightly sweet and super fresh. It is the highlight of any sandwich here. We ordered two large sandwiches to share between 4 people. The Italian and the pot roast. Let me warn you, if you aren't super hungry, you won't even finish 1/2 of a large because they STUFF them with tons of meat! Out of the two we ordered, the Italian was my favorite. It had a great variety of flavors and just hit the spot. The pot roast was good but lacked variety and I got bored with the flavors quickly. They also have fresh made pretzels. I got a butter and salt one and ordered the jalapeño cheese sauce to dip. The pretzel was served piping hot and was really delicious. The cheese sauce had no heat and was good but I was expecting some jalapeño flavor but there was none.
