This is such a cute little spot. It is tucked away and I was very surprised that there was an entire set of stores back with it. The service was great and what I loved about the food was there's something for everyone. From basic to super creative. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside and the self serve beer wall was a fun experience.

Wow! What a great find on Yelp! We stopped for lunch when visiting Gatlinburg. Ordering was quick at the walk up counter and the employee was very helpful. Food was very good. I had turkey Reuben with homemade chips and husband had buffalo chicken wrap with tater tots. We enjoyed our meals at this cute, cozy restaurant. Got fun lattes (Rainy Day with salted caramel and English toffee syrup and Snow Day with peppermint syrup and chocolate drizzle) to go at the conclusion of our meals.

We really enjoyed Split Rail Eats! The food was fresh, tasty, and came out quickly after ordering at the counter. The outdoor patio seating was a nice touch -- relaxed, casual, and perfect for enjoying a meal in the Smokies. The menu has a great variety with something for everyone, and the portions were just right. Friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere made it a great stop in Gatlinburg. We'd definitely come back!

This is off Glades Rd...you can't see the restaurant from the street, so You'll have to park and look near Black Bear Crafts Shop

As a content creator here in Gatlinburg on YouTube TikTok IG Facebook The Gatlinburg Hussey, I found this great place while filming at Black Bear Crafts Glade's Rd Covered Bridge Area and I went over to grab a burger and it was amazing! I highly recommend going here!

Great little spot located near other shopping stores and apartments above. The decor is very nice, was there in December so it was festive, fast service and food was delicious. I highly recommend this spot. Give it a try!

This place is attached to a lodge. Cute atmosphere, there are a few lounge areas where you can eat. You order at the counter and then they give you a number and you sit wherever you want. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with a side order of fries, bell peppers and mushrooms were extra also. I feel like the price point wasn't worth it. The sandwich was salty and they forgot the bell peppers and mushrooms. For $4 I barely got any fries. It was a small sandwich for 20 bucks. Can't say I'd recommend this place or return. Staff was friendly though so there's that.

Just what I was looking for! Casual dining done right. The location is away from the congestion of the main strip of Gatlinburg. We had burgers and tots. The quality of the burger was legit, the tots were nice and crispy. We also did the beer/cider experience. This was really cool. You just scan a wristband and you sample one of several drinks. So many delicious beers, ciders, and cocktails. The PBJ cider was unique and delicious! 10/10. This was the perfect stop after a morning spent at the national park. I wish I could take the whole place back home with me!

Good for a quick lunch! We visited Split Rail Eats after spending the morning hiking in GSMNP, and found it moderately busy. The restaurant had a casual ambiance, and we ended up sitting in their outdoor area, which had plenty of sun and shade. We went up to order at the counter and saw an entire Fall Latte Menu of seasonal coffee drinks. I chose the Iced Autumn Glory and my friend got an Iced Nutty Pumpkin. Unfortunately, neither of these were good at all. Both drinks were super weak and tasted like we were just drinking a cup of sweetened milk. Definitely could've used another shot of espresso! For food, I got the Rodeo Burger with Cucumber Salad as a side. The burger was tasty and filling! I liked the fried onion straws and melty cheese, and the Cucumber Salad was light and refreshing. My friend ordered the Southwestern Burger with Tater Tots on the side, and said her meal was pretty good. The Tater Tots were nicely crispy. Good food overall, but I recommend skipping the coffee drinks!

This food was great! We both really loved our meal. The tater tots were crispy, the gluten free bun didn't fall apart, the flavors were excellent. The staff was kind and checked in on us. Was a cute ambiance. Go check it out!

This place was just wow! We were there for only a weekend and ended up eating there all three days. What a great beer selection and a very diverse menu. Everything that we got was absolutely delicious. Fantastic service as well. The establishment is very clean and has tables for large groups as well as more intimate dining.

This is quite the hidden gem in the mountain. This place blew my mind when I walked in. Really cool vibe. You can dispense several draft beers yourself. Big screen tv's available to watch your favorite sports team. Seating was ample and comfortable...the place is bigger than it looks. Could probably seat 100 people. The food was great. Loved the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich; they use a great sauce. The fries and onion straws were pretty good. Fried Cheese curds were awesome. Highly recommend!

Tap wall, pay by the ounce you pour yourself

Convenient, fast, with a broad menu, plenty of space, and away from the busy strip but convenient to Rocky Top Sports (where we were for a tournament weekend). Tap room wall was neat. Will eat again when in the area.

Wrist band required...pay by the ounces.

Great food, fun experience, we loved the beer wall. The tater bowls were delicious. Not too crowded, made for a pleasant lunch.

From the outside, this place was pretty unassuming. The staff were friendly and quick to take our orders -- my husband had a darker beer, I had (I think - it's been a week and a half since our visit that I'm writing this review) the blonde ale. We tried several beers and really liked each of them! But the real star of the show was THAT PIZZA! They make it in front of you and cook it in an oven behind the bar, and it was quite possibly the best pizza I've had in a long while. It wasn't a huge pie, but it was the perfect size for two of us to split when we were just a little hungry on our way out for a stroll through the tourist shops. It would be a good size for one hungry person's lunch. We'll definitely remember them next time we're in town!

Kinda plain and non-descript in decor, the space is nice enough but lacks character. Apparently they are known for having very good pizza, though we were just stopping in for a couple of beers while walking the strip, so we did not eat on this visit. I had the Red Rye-der Rye IPA, and my wife had the Otter Water (mixed drink), both were good. The server was polite and attentive, though not terribly well versed on the beers. Overall, I would definitely try this place again, next time we will try the pizza

An authentic British pub that definitely feels like a go-to spot for a lot of the locals. You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.

Good choices. Limited food but for tourist area very nice vibe…read more Drinks high though and no specials I believe it will be better

Unfortunately we got our days mixed up and our reservation was the following day. However the hostess told us it was not an issue and still seated us right away moving our booking to the correct day. The food came out in a timely manner and our server was very helpful as well. I ordered the seafood lasagna and it was very flavorful. Personally if I were to come back, I'd order another dish that was more filling. The server raved about how good it was and she was correct. It did have a lot of flavor to it. However it lacked seafood in the shells. At some points, I felt as though I was only eating shells and sauce with tomatoes unfortunately. Upon finishing our meal, unfortunately my father became ill after sipping water and going down the wrong pipe. We were so embarrassed seeing as though we were sitting in the middle of everyone dining. However the staff were so kind resulting us that it wasn't the first and dropping everything they were doing to tend to us with wet napkins and checking on my father. While we were deeply embarrassed, it really meant a lot to us that you all made us your priority in that moment and I greatly appreciate you alls service!

Our table provided a scenic overlook through the trees. I wish that I remembered our waiter's name, but he was phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. (I do remember he was from Southern Indiana). My wife had the petit 7-ounce filet (wet-aged Iowa Premium USDA beef tenderloin, center cut, fresh-cracked black pepper and kosher salt) and a Caesar Salad. Her steak was cooked perfectly and she really enjoyed her Caesar salad and the twice baked potato as her side. I had the New York Strip (dry-aged Iowa Premium USDA prime short loin with the bone. Fresh-cracked black pepper and kosher salt), and a chopped salad (chopped baby greens, tomato, pickled onion, artichokes, cucumbers, hard boiled eggs and citrus herb vinaigrette.) The steak melted in your mouth and the salad was fresh with a delicious citrus herb vinaigrette dressing. My side was the asparagus which again, was very delicious and cooked perfectly (I could have had another serving!) They also served some very tasty hot and buttery spoon bread which was very close to the original recipe that was created near my home in Berea, KY. Between the salad and the main course, we were served a lemon sorbet as a pallet cleanser. For dessert, my wife had the crème brûlée and I had the butterscotch budino. Both were very tasty, but personally for me, the butterscotch budino was a tad better -- but you cannot go wrong with either. We don't drink, but there was a great wine menu and over 100 different bourbon selections. We will definitely return again. Reservations are highly recommended!

Our server was friendly though there were a bunch of servers who stopped by our table overlooking the course of the night. All were pleasant, though our server asked us if we were there for a special event when we sat and we said no, then at the end of them meal he though it was my husband's birthday, but not in a "here a drink on the house" kind of way, just an awkward comment. I got the bone in pork chop which came on a serving shaved Brussel sprouts. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and very tender. Our server recommended we get a side, so we tried the truffle Mac and cheese, it was fine but not great-it was not all that cheesy though we could taste the truffle. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband's risotto with filet and mushrooms only had the scantest amount of filet and mushrooms though was very flavorful. When it arrived at our table it had sloshed all over the serving dish and the server said she was going to fix it it just went to the servers station (2 feet from us) and then came back a minute later-I'm not sure what exactly that fixed but the presentation certainly was not that of a dish that costs $50! I had the smoked Sazerac for my drink. It was nice and the cherry smoke imparted a great flavor though it's not supposed to be served with an ice cube. Additionally, the ice cube within was not clear or perfectly cubed. For a $22 cocktail, this was a miss in my book. I had the crème brûlée for dessert and they strangely put very wet strawberries on the brûlée. I only got a very small space that I could attempt to crack the brûlée. It tasted delicious, though the strawberries really should have been served on the side. Between courses, a bear walked up the river which was an exciting development. This restaurant is beautiful and perfectly situated on a scenic river.
