Jacked Turkey- had already eaten half because I couldn't wait!
    Kaci N.

This place was delicious! The staff were very friendly, greeted us right as we walked in to explain the process of ordering. You order at the front, then go sit and wait on your food! Everyone loved the food, I had the turkey sandwich and it tasted like Thanksgiving in a meal! Refreshing after a long hike. The restaurant was clean, with staff cleaning constantly. Enough seating for large groups (we had 8, and there were plenty of areas to choose from for us). Very nice experience!

Great food and nice set up inside. We ordered wings, cheeseburger bowl, and kids chicken sticks. Also used the beer wall and enjoyed this fun option. The service was good and the cashier was very nice. She helped give us some recommendations which ended up being good! This was a perfect lunch stop as we drove along the art shops. The location is a little strange but you can tell they made the most of it.

This was an even better experience than we had anticipated! The food was great. The onion straws are AMAZING! The tater tot bowl options are a fun different item on the menu. The tacos we are on the small side. The staff were super helpful and kind. Food came out quickly. We didn't feel rushed and felt very welcome. We did not realize it was trivia and bingo night. We loved it! The lady running song bingo and trivia did a great job! What was just gonna be dinner turned in to a fun evening activity! Note: to get in the restaurant you go into the middle area of the buildings then you will see the entrance to the restaurant!

This is such a cute little spot. It is tucked away and I was very surprised that there was an entire set of stores back with it. The service was great and what I loved about the food was there's something for everyone. From basic to super creative. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside and the self serve beer wall was a fun experience.

Wow! What a great find on Yelp! We stopped for lunch when visiting Gatlinburg. Ordering was quick at the walk up counter and the employee was very helpful. Food was very good. I had turkey Reuben with homemade chips and husband had buffalo chicken wrap with tater tots. We enjoyed our meals at this cute, cozy restaurant. Got fun lattes (Rainy Day with salted caramel and English toffee syrup and Snow Day with peppermint syrup and chocolate drizzle) to go at the conclusion of our meals.

We really enjoyed Split Rail Eats! The food was fresh, tasty, and came out quickly after ordering at the counter. The outdoor patio seating was a nice touch -- relaxed, casual, and perfect for enjoying a meal in the Smokies. The menu has a great variety with something for everyone, and the portions were just right. Friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere made it a great stop in Gatlinburg. We'd definitely come back!

This place is attached to a lodge. Cute atmosphere, there are a few lounge areas where you can eat. You order at the counter and then they give you a number and you sit wherever you want. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with a side order of fries, bell peppers and mushrooms were extra also. I feel like the price point wasn't worth it. The sandwich was salty and they forgot the bell peppers and mushrooms. For $4 I barely got any fries. It was a small sandwich for 20 bucks. Can't say I'd recommend this place or return. Staff was friendly though so there's that.

Just what I was looking for! Casual dining done right. The location is away from the congestion of the main strip of Gatlinburg. We had burgers and tots. The quality of the burger was legit, the tots were nice and crispy. We also did the beer/cider experience. This was really cool. You just scan a wristband and you sample one of several drinks. So many delicious beers, ciders, and cocktails. The PBJ cider was unique and delicious! 10/10. This was the perfect stop after a morning spent at the national park. I wish I could take the whole place back home with me!

Good for a quick lunch! We visited Split Rail Eats after spending the morning hiking in GSMNP, and found it moderately busy. The restaurant had a casual ambiance, and we ended up sitting in their outdoor area, which had plenty of sun and shade. We went up to order at the counter and saw an entire Fall Latte Menu of seasonal coffee drinks. I chose the Iced Autumn Glory and my friend got an Iced Nutty Pumpkin. Unfortunately, neither of these were good at all. Both drinks were super weak and tasted like we were just drinking a cup of sweetened milk. Definitely could've used another shot of espresso! For food, I got the Rodeo Burger with Cucumber Salad as a side. The burger was tasty and filling! I liked the fried onion straws and melty cheese, and the Cucumber Salad was light and refreshing. My friend ordered the Southwestern Burger with Tater Tots on the side, and said her meal was pretty good. The Tater Tots were nicely crispy. Good food overall, but I recommend skipping the coffee drinks!

Great little spot located near other shopping stores and apartments above. The decor is very nice, was there in December so it was festive, fast service and food was delicious. I highly recommend this spot. Give it a try!

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. A little off the beaten path but was very close to our cabin. The self serve beer room is pretty cool.

An authentic British pub that definitely feels like a go-to spot for a lot of the locals. You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.

Good choices. Limited food but for tourist area very nice vibe…read more Drinks high though and no specials I believe it will be better

As for the food, it was honestly pretty underwhelming considering how hyped this place is. The crab dip was okay, nothing memorable. The steak and lobster was disappointing- the lobster had that soft texture that overcooked or not-so-fresh crawfish can have. The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Ironically, the bread basket ended up being my favorite part of the meal-absolutely delicious. The service, however, was genuinely warm and hospitable. It was a bit slow, but the staff was kind, friendly, and personable enough that it made up for it. That was honestly the highlight of the experience. Was I excited to try this place because of all the hype? Absolutely. Would I personally recommend it? Probably not.

Our server was friendly though there were a bunch of servers who stopped by our table overlooking the course of the night. All were pleasant, though our server asked us if we were there for a special event when we sat and we said no, then at the end of them meal he though it was my husband's birthday, but not in a "here a drink on the house" kind of way, just an awkward comment. I got the bone in pork chop which came on a serving shaved Brussel sprouts. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and very tender. Our server recommended we get a side, so we tried the truffle Mac and cheese, it was fine but not great-it was not all that cheesy though we could taste the truffle. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband's risotto with filet and mushrooms only had the scantest amount of filet and mushrooms though was very flavorful. When it arrived at our table it had sloshed all over the serving dish and the server said she was going to fix it it just went to the servers station (2 feet from us) and then came back a minute later-I'm not sure what exactly that fixed but the presentation certainly was not that of a dish that costs $50! I had the smoked Sazerac for my drink. It was nice and the cherry smoke imparted a great flavor though it's not supposed to be served with an ice cube. Additionally, the ice cube within was not clear or perfectly cubed. For a $22 cocktail, this was a miss in my book. I had the crème brûlée for dessert and they strangely put very wet strawberries on the brûlée. I only got a very small space that I could attempt to crack the brûlée. It tasted delicious, though the strawberries really should have been served on the side. Between courses, a bear walked up the river which was an exciting development. This restaurant is beautiful and perfectly situated on a scenic river.
