Had a good visit to this massive seafood restaurant. Interior was very impressive when we walked it featuring beautiful wood work. They have a merchandise shop inside of the restaurant. They have a huge menu with pages and pages of choices. I had the fried catfish and it was good. My friend had the cheeseburger and it was delicious. My son had the king crab and lobster boil and it was fantastic. Also the prices were very reasonable. The king crab boil was only like $80 and also included snow crab and lobster. It was amazing to get lobster, snow crab and king crab for such a low price! The sausage in the boil was horrible so they need to change that, but everything else was good. They have Multiple bar areas and cocktails were good. I recommend the lemon drop martini. Bathrooms were very clean as well. We would definitely visit again.

We had a jeep tour before and decided to stop in after when we were hungry. I think the price was higher than the food was worth... The appetizers we got were good! The shrimp was so good, highly recommend and the layout was aesthetic. I think the sushi was mostly rice and kind of warm but it's also sushi in Tennessee so I wasn't expecting much there. The duck!! Overall, that's why I decided to leave a review. The staff was chill. They weren't too attentive but I was tired and it didn't bother me - they still checked in on us. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Yaaaaa y'all messed up BIG TIME!! It only takes one screw up for me and this one was major. Y'all a little early for Christmas 'cause y'all just served me CHARCOAL! So I ordered the Surf and Turf: filet mignon and medium well. Not only were our appetizers quite late but my food came way later than every one else's and when it did come my only thought was... "is this a joke?!" CHARCOAL, literal CHARCOAL! Inside and out! You could TAP on it and it was hard AS charcoal. I just don't understand how the cook could've allowed that to be sent out. Gordon Ramsay, would've chewed your asses out for trying to send out that ABOMINATION! The waiter who brought it out should've been embarrassed to present that to ANY costumer smh. Oh and something was up with your water, it tasted like metal. Might want to check on your pipes! On the bright side, the shrimp and grits was delicious! Had a New Orleans taste to it. The service was great, our waitress took care of my steak and one other screw up the chef made with no problem. The appetizers were great, but that steak was your big mistake! DO BETTER Harry's!!

We came for lunch after a jeep tour. This restaurant is massive and super decorative and clean. We started off with a Bloody Mary that Melissa made and it was delicious! We had the cowboy nachos and it was delicious and huge. We re a party of 4 and couldn't finish it. For the entree I had a bowl of she crab bisque which was good but didn't blow me away. Hubby had the burger and he said it was delicious. The other party had the fried fish sandwich and the seafood pasta that they both agreed it was delicious. Melissa was the bartender and server and she was fantastic. Don't look at the negative reviews. This place is great and portions are large and the food is delicious!

Seafood dinner for 4 We made a reservation online in the early afternoon. We arrived close to dinner time and noticed the huge parking lot. As we walked towards the front, I saw a sign mentioning patio seating. We entered, checked in, and let them know we had a reservation. She confirmed it and we were led to the far back corner of the dining room. I asked about the patio, but she said it was closed due to the cold weather. This place was huge, with seating everywhere. There were booths, large tables, small tables and with a wood log cabin design as the main theme in the whole dining room. We were given menus and started to make our way through all the pages. Then we waited and waited. Our server still had not arrived. Wifey and the girls went to the restroom and came back, and we still had not been helped. I flagged down a staff member and asked if he could send someone over. He said someone would be with us shortly. A few minutes later, the same person I flagged down earlier came to help us. He was ready to take our drink orders. I initially wanted to try a new beer I saw on the menu and ordered the Black Horse IPA, but he advised that all the taps were broken. I switched to a Modelo Negro and Wifey ordered a Yuengling. My youngest ordered a tropical margarita, and my oldest kept it simple with a sweet tea. The ladies also added a spinach artichoke queso dip as an appetizer. The menu was massive, with a wide variety of items and specials. There were plenty of good options which made our final decisions difficult. Service was a little slow, but our server was actually very nice. When the drinks arrived, my youngest daughter noticed something black floating in her glass. He replaced it immediately without question. By this time we were ready to place our food orders. Wifey ordered the Lobster mac and cheese. She had a few questions and our server mentioned it was heavy on the Gouda flavor. My oldest daughter ordered one of her favorites that she had not had in a while, the Shrimp and Grits. My youngest ordered the Crab Boil and asked for no extra seasoning, just butter with her one pound of crab. I ordered the Cedar Plank Swordfish special which was served with saffron vegetable risotto. I asked the server if he had heard good things about it, and he said I was the first person to order it and that it had just been added to the menu. I took the risk and locked it in. The food came out fairly quickly, and the portions were huge. Everyone dug in and enjoyed their choices. All the dishes were hot and seasoned nicely. When we were ready to close out the bill, service slowed down again. Our server was nowhere to be found, but he eventually returned and was very apologetic. Overall, despite a few hiccups, we enjoyed our visit to Harpoon Harry's with the highlight definitely being the food. We would return to try other items from the extensive menu the next time we are in the Pigeon Forge area. Rating 3.5

    Lobster Mac and Cheese
    Denise R.

This lobsters Mac and cheese was decadent and the portion was huge it's one of the best I've tried thus far. The service was good and the ambiance was chilled.

Bread that is not complementary. The rolls were cold as well
    Dwan F.

I ordered what was supposed to be a lobster roll, but it turned out to be imitation lobster (surimi) made into a seafood salad on a bun. My fries were cold when they came out. My husband ordered a burger, and it had macaroni on top of it -- something we weren't told about. The server also never asked how he wanted it cooked. The server was also working the bar so she was going back and forth. I asked if they had bread, and the server said yes. She brought some after I agreed, but we later found out it wasn't complimentary -- it was an extra charge. Overall, the food was disappointing, the service was lacking, and nothing matched what we expected. Sadly, it just wasn't a good experience.

    Shrimp and grits, no sausage

Was very disappointed. Recognized the name from Tampa location so suggested it for our friend group of 6. Inside was huge, they can handle a rush of people. The tables are even huge oversized picnic style tables to be shared. Inside vibe was cool. Supper slow to takeout order when we came for early dinner before rush. Then waters all around, tasted like metal and garden hose, I flashed back to the 70's!!!!! I ordered shrimp and grits which was delicious probably the only dish that wasn't messed up! Salad order for another friend was messed up and had to be made again but still wrong! My daughter ordered the surf and tuff but the turf was a lump of charcoal when we asked for it slightly pink inside! They tried again this time it was the smallest piece of steak I had ever seen and really too pink inside but we took it home, because it took forever to come back out! Another friend's steak was also way undercooked. Food in general was slow to come to table overall and we were there before a dinner crowd! Need to train the kitchen staff to cook better and learn to read orders properly! I will just stick with the Tampa location.

    Smash burger

I have been to this restaurant many times, and it seems to be going downhill each time we come. The service is great, but the food is just not that good anymore. This time we were here I got the fish and chips and my wife got a Smashburger. My wife ate about 10% of her Smashburger and just could not finish it, and my fish and chips were way too salty and the coleslaw was very dry. On top of that, the tartar sauce was just bad. When we first got there, they were very few people there and yet they waited 20 minutes to see us. I don't know why they won't see you and make you wait 20 minutes when they have plenty of open tables. This restaurant has been one of our favorites for a long time, but it has just gone downhill.

    Crab Tots with dipping sauce

What a huge restaurant! I'd no idea there was a huge waterside deck on the opposite side of the bar. It wasn't busy when we arrived, but it had really picked up by 7pm. The interior is all crafted with wood. Nice touch. Our server Tyler was nice and attentive. We tried the crab tots (five) which were nice and crispy on the outside, but slightly crumbly. Still delicious. The dipping sauce wasn't remarkable, but not bad. We both ordered the fish and chips with fries. The fish (pollock?) was perfectly coated and fried crispy. It wasn't heavy or overly greatly, either. Ample tartar sauce, lemon slices, There were two huge whole pieces of fish. According to my husband, the Cole slaw tasted like KFC's (good). The steak fries were perfectly golden brown and crisp. Yum!

We got 2 pounds of shrimp with chicken wings and all the fixings and it was delicious.
    Latisha B.

We order the 2 pounds of shrimp with all the fixings and we got chicken wings. And everything was nice and hot and delicious. We will definitely recommend anyone to come visit if they are in town.

Going out to eat is supposed to be enjoyable, not something that leaves you feeling embarrassed and humiliated. I understand everyone can have bad days, but there's no reason to treat customers with that level of disrespect. I was asking a simple question of getting an order to go and about the lunch. I really hope management takes customer service more seriously because no one should leave a restaurant crying and feeling the way I did.

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.

It has a real down home feel. The place offers burgers (Mushroom Swiss, BBQ Burger), sandwiches (Cheesesteaks, Reuben, BLT, Chicken Sandwiches with Ranch/Buffalo options), and hearty baskets with fried chicken, cod, or shrimp, plus breakfast served all day, desserts (chocolate pie!), and options like pork chops or steak. They have someone thing for everyone. Everything is cooked to ordered. We started off with deep fried deviled eggs. My wife had the Beef Stroganoff. While I had the House Smash Burger. The stroganoff is served in a wide, shallow bowl that showcases the sauce's glossy sheen and the generous scatter of sautéed mushrooms. Steam carries a rounded, savory bouquet: beef-forward notes, toasty browned butter, and the faint acid of a finishing touch -- likely a splash of vinegar, wine, or lemon -- that hints the sauce will be bright rather than cloying. The presentation is simple and effective: no unnecessary frills, just clear evidence that plate composition exists to showcase the food's strengths. The sauce is the star: a glossy, velvety emulsion built on a brown stock backbone, enriched with sour cream (or a light cultured cream), and tempered with mustard and a touch of acidity. The mushrooms are properly caramelized, offering an earthy counterpoint and slight chew that complements the tender beef. Onions are present but not intrusive; garlic and a whisper of thyme or parsley frame the dish without flattening the primary flavors. Chubby's pairs the stroganoff with broad egg noodles -- they're al dente-yielding and capture the sauce in their folds, which makes each mouthful a composed, layered bite rather than separate elements awkwardly forced together. The Smash Burger was an equal masterpiece as well. In an era when burgers can feel formulaic and predictable, the SMASH Triple Burger with Chubby Sauce at Chubby's Restaurant stands out not just as a meal, but as a culinary statement, mine was constructed of three thin-pressed beef patties -- each seared to achieve that iconic lace of caramelization -- deliver an intoxicating aroma of grilled beef that primes the palate for something special. The smash technique here isn't a gimmick; it's a masterstroke that intensifies the beef's flavor while maintaining juiciness through every layer, a testament to precise heat management on the griddle. The Chubby Sauce, a house specialty that earns its name with rich, tangy complexity, serves as the burger's soul. It marries creamy umami with a whisper of sweetness and a balanced acidity that cuts through the savory heft of the triple stack. This sauce is not merely a condiment -- it's the architectural glue that binds texture and taste, elevating each bite into a chorus of complementary notes. What makes this experience remarkable was how it balances bold indulgence with thoughtful restraint: the trio of patties makes a statement, yet the burger never feels overwhelmingly heavy. Each layer interacts harmoniously, and the Chubby Sauce is nothing short of inspired -- tangy yet creamy, bold yet nuanced. We topped it all off with pie. My wife had the peanut butter while I opted for the Apple pie was our desert. Dessert at Chubby's often arrives with the quiet confidence of a house specialty, and the both the Apple & Peanut Butter Pie is no exception. If you think you've had every version of apple pie, this one will surprise you. Chubby's Apple Pie is warm, comforting, and brilliantly balanced. The apples are tender and spiced just right, the crust is buttery and flaky. The peanut butter pie has a subtle, savory richness that keeps the dessert from being overly sweet. It's indulgent without being heavy and memorable in the best way. An absolute must-order if you save room for dessert. This was a great dining experience and in a tourist dominated area, this place stands out as real down home cooking that your grandmother made. Highly recommend, this is one the most stop sites if you are in the area.
